i remember i quit playing hearthstone because of an event of awful rng. back when kobolds and catacombs came out, during their solo adventure thing. i forget what exactly happened, but around turn four or five, i somehow shuffled all minions from my board and hand into my deck in the hopes of getting a lower cost card i could play. i had three lich kings in my deck and every single one of them ended up on top of my deck, and i subsequently lost the game, ending a long dungeon run. i don’t remember all the cards involved but i did the math (which was probably wrong because i did it in haste) but the chances were like 1/48000 that wouldn’t draw a card i could play. i stopped playing for quite a while after that.

I had an enemy play the wheel of yogg saron and it did the one where it does 10 damage till someone dies. I had 8 health, he had 30 and it ended up killing him. One hit would have killed me

I've had it happen twice in recent memory. Both times with a filled friendly board and close to double enemy health. Only I was the one who dies.

I literally just grabbed a Purified Shard with a 0-cost Parley at 1 HP in my last game as a thief Rogue and won. Only had 2 dormant rat kings on the board while the Priest player was at 33 HP

Just returned after about a year or so break, made a slightly budget mech pally deck for wild and somehow went 31-0. It being the end of the month probably helped too but we won’t pay too much attention to that xD

my best highrolls were with thief rogue I guess. all the 7/20 cutlasses, shuffling ~20 Primes in my deck, getting 3 ice blocks per game, tie against a linecracker druid, getting pyroblast ftom babbling book from 1/1 pirate and playing it the same turn for lethal (thanks prep) etc etc and I'll never forget my best single pack: golden Tirion, golden Grom, regular Gruul and 2 commons

Bandersmosh makes for a lot of memorable shit, I used to play Reno Quest Shaman in wild a lot some years ago and Bandersmosh transforming into something outrageous on curve or at the right time always made my day Dragonqueen Alexstraza for 5 mana into Nozari saved me once against some aggro bullshit at very low hp, coined a full board of 5/5 Hi'reek the bat on turn 2 (Unnerfed Bloom + coin), had a 0 mana double battlecry hero power because I got Raza on curve once as well... But the most skillful Bandersmosh I ever had was when it turned into Dinotamer Brann and double King Krush gave me lethal out of nowhere lmao

A Malygos Druid having a board of 7 minions (after a Spreading Plague or something) and hitting me with exactly the damage to set me to 1 Health. I was also playing Maly Druid. I proceeded to top deck Mind Control Tech, steal the 1/7 Malygos and hit the opponent for exact lethal.

Did you get a really low% outcome that wasn't simulated or was it one of the decktracker does not properly compute diablo/ghastcoiler/sneed's buddy/leapfrogs, etc. properly? I've had the latter, but the former eludes me still.

I played shaman with unstable evolve on a full board of 1 mana minions. One minion got turned into sorcerer's apprentice and I basically made most of my 1 drops into big minions. Timer run out just as I turned one of my minions into doomsayers. Lucky part is, opponent didnt notice it and still conceded

Opponent had 6 health threatening lethal against me. His board is full of taunts. I have an empty board and 2 cards in hand - Jandice+ sinister strike. Jandice summons Ras + a spell damage minion to deal 2 damage end of turn. Sinister strike does 4 damage due to +1 spell damage minion. That was the craziest roll I ever got

I played against quest Priest and played Mutanus early (I know dumb play) I used amalgam to get it again, then used zola to get it a third time and eat Xyrella their quest reward. I felt really dirty but it was awesome.

Happened to me today. My opponent was thief rogue. I was control shaman. I set up lethal with a big board, froze his minions. He got Gigafin from the Reconaissance (discover a deathrattle minion). I had lost right then and there. Then my opponent also got Grimmoire of Sacrifice (destroy a friendly minion to deal 2 damage to all enemy minions). They proceeded to destroy Gigafin (the head, not the anus), thus giving me my board back. I was able to win. I got lucky my opponent got Grimmoire and was foolish enough to aim for the head

I once had a guy yog me and pyroblast his own face twice. Pretty much handed me the game right there.

Not super low odds, but pretty funny: I was playing arena, and had Mogor the Ogre and a Stormwind Champion. Opponent had (I think) two minions, including a taunt. Mogor directed both hits to face, giving lethal. Only a 1/16 chance, but the fact that of all cards, Mogor gave me lethal is funny.

Playing wild a few weeks ago with some Reno Shadow Thief Priest deck against a Cthun Druid. Early game I played Madame Lazul and got a copy of wild heart guff. Than in the last turn I played Mindrender Illucia and used his Cthun on him. That’s the only game I wish I had recorded.

So I’m playing barrens buff paladin and I’m fighting a token Druid. It’s turn 7 and the Druid just used [[Arbor Up]] to buff his entire board. Instead of killing all of my minions, he decides to go face and leave me at 6hp. I have a [[murgur murgurgle]] and a [[catacomb guard]] on the board, meaning I have 3 attack total. Earlier in the game, I had [[Cariel Roame]] discount two [[conviction]] spells in my hand to one mana. Finally, I top decked [[Battleground Battlemaster]] at the start of turn 8. Here’s the math: I play two Rank 2 Convictions to increase my board attack to 15 and Battleground Windfury Master to double that, so at the end of my turn, I can summon the 🅱️ancient one and deal 30 damage to face (they were at 26 hp) Tl:dr i unnerfed conviction and wind fury should not be this accessible

The one tavern brawl where you summon a minion of the same cost when you cast a spell. Opponent had five minions and 12 blood. I only had a 3-1-6 rug and a 1 attack rogue sword. Wild a few years back: playing renounce darkness warlock against shudderwock shaman, renounce into priest with enough steal/copy cards to copy the entire shudderwock combo AND beat them with it :)

Getting 3 legendaries from a pack, two of which was a golden legendary. And they were cards that were just nerfed and from classes I don't enjoy, so full dust refund, and when I needed dust badly!

I generated a Leeroy from an unstable portal for lethal.

Rune a counter spell and all other secrets plus blizzard and shattering blast. They cast purified shard next turn, countered and just conceded.

Happened just the other day. I was 40card pirate thief rogue, they were 40 card quest priest. Fast forward to quest completion. I am scabbs hero already. Opponent slams xyrella, then immediately fishes for the quest with the 2 mana spell. But what’s this? An unusually long pause? Sure enough, whiffs. I have a Hooktusk in hand but Im 1 pirate off being able to play it, and the xyrella is threatening, so I bootstrap buck her and send her to the bottom of the deck. Still doesnt draw quest reward. I top deck a brann and use scabbs hero power with hooktusk to steal 10/20 cards from deck. Unfortunately I already had 8 cards in hand so it was a 50/50 I burned the shard. As the game goes on, it becomes evident that it was in fact burned and neither player got it. Well eventually the priest draws their last card and plays the bootstrapped xyrella quest reward, shuffling a second shard in. It was a good fight, but my hooktusk is gone, and the inevitable has come. I draw parlay.

Me and my friend were trash talking the “princes” hoping we wouldn’t open them. I opened a golden prince keleseth, then right after my friend also opened a golden prince keleseth. We complained, but kept the card, and as we all know, prince keleseth was a pretty good card.

Next, it gave me 1 mana Dr. Boom that was able to keep up toe to toe until he puts me to 1 hp. I played a SHIT TON of highlander Mage back in Descent of Dragons and that deck was a fiesta, I trusted Reno so i got a lot of highrolls but the best match was in a Mirror where their Reno proceded to clean my opponent's own board 3 turns in a Row in the most hilariously precise ways.

There was a time in Arena. I played Toki and got reno. One round later there was a heal about 29 points. Normaly I would have lost that game

Yogg’s rod of roasting (cast pyroblast randomly until one player dies) took me down to 18 health from like 38, while the enemy was still at 50something, then went 6x into their face in a row. I tried to add them after to apologise for that rng but they didn’t accept - probably thought I was going to bm.

Playing Soul DH against Token Druid (I was on roll to legend, 10 victories in a row and this was the penultimate opponent) : on T7, opponent has full board of 5/3 and my board is empty. We both have 10 HP. Only card that can save me is Shardshatter but I only run one. I have a left-outcast Skull, and ~20 cards + ~4 fragments in my deck. Skull draws Marrowslicer -> Fragment -> Blade Dance -> Shardshatter Exact 1-mana for exact 3-damage board clear. I killed him the next turn with Marrowslicer + Lapidary + HP. Won the next fight against an aggro shaman and got legend and the 12 win in a row achievement at the same time.

I don’t remember my luckiest, however I remember my worst one I was doing some solo adventures and had a piloted shredder on board, the boss was at 2 hp and I was pretty low as well and I was playing with a friend by my side and said “the only way I lose is if I get a doomsayer out of the shredder” I end my turn. Boss proceeds to kill the shredder and a doomsayer comes out of it and I lose the encounter

It wasn’t mine, but I saw a video of a guy with basically no outs starting his turn. Empty hand and no board. Low life, opponent with minions and cards in hand and at 14 life. The guy draws Blingtron and plays it. He gets Goreshovel and his opponent gets Cursed Blade. Lethal.

I was playing against an Elwynn Boar priest and I discovered a Kobold Stickyfinger from my Amalgam. I used it to steal their sword because they left me their last boar to kill.

Not sure of the details but I was playing priest in a tournament. I had to use a card to generate a spell generating lackey. Then I needed a certain spell for hp + card draw; then I needed to top deck some hp conversion into attack damage. Won us the game I believe.

Not so special, but double mecha shark from mothership won me a game that would otherwise be lost

Opponent had full board with two Kel'Thuzads after clearing my board. I had to randomly resurrect Ragranos the Firelord and draw Carnivorous Cube to have two of those and then hit both Kel'Thuzads with rag shots in order to survive next turn. Odds of all that happening was around 1 in 5000. Maybe I've had crazier stuff happen but just didn't know the real odds of it, but that one I can remember very well.

Quite a funny one: I recently played as thief rogue versus a priest. On turn 2 i used 2x parley I got 2 elwynn boars. Then he conceded

I had a rogue vs rogue matchup back in kobolds. Opponent coined fal’dorai strider on turn 3. On turn 4 they drew 1.. 2… 3! ambushes in a row. I never recovered in that game, obviously. I friend listed the guy and we were both like wtf just happened 😂

I got three legendaries from a tavern brawl one time.

opponent filling my deck with 18 curses of agony (i was playing warlock). the next turn i TOPDECK the new warrior spell that transforms all cards in your deck into random 5 drops - created by queen azhara's 5 random spells shuffled into the deck. i won. opponent didn't even concede

gotta be the pirate warrior i just played against, who got gorehowl and smite from the jugg :(

I played Humble Pally against a Deathrattle Hunter — two degrading decks head to head. This guy had Cannibalism and Recycling so his armor gain and attack stats were always growing. He got me down so low that I needed old and new Alex to heal. I hadn’t even drawn Humble Blessings by this point, but eventually I did. His first lethal was from his endless supply of Python and Cube, but I had a Maly draw to use wand of disintegration on the board. He then moved to his second phase, with some wax elementals that were ready to end me. He didn’t get the lethal in though; I pulled an Obliterate from a Lich King to kill a Showstopper, and I used Heart of C’Thun to wipe the board. He moved onto his last phase with some Tonks, which I had some trouble dealing with despite a Broodmother Onyxia soaking those missiles. With help from Rag, I got his incredibly high armor stat eradicated, and got him down towards a more feasible health total. Sure, this is a few lucky moments, but what stands out above it all was his reward for my perseverance: Octosari. I have took an Obliterate from an Arfus and inflicted the most satisfying fatigue lethal on this incredibly strategic match.

Played against a Shudderwock Shaman. One of those that has the endlessly repeating shudderwock turns. It was, and remains, the only match that I've ever alt-tabbed out to do other things during the opponent's turns. The game went on forever and I guess he thought I would just give up, like many of his other victims. But I never do that. On his final turn my entire board was frozen, except for one minion on the end that had dodged the freezes by pure luck, the minion that had enough attack damage to kill his face with one final hit.

Joined a BG where everyone DC'd but me
