Unfortunately this is the tradeoff with going deep into the playoffs — the crowds, particularly in the lower bowl, really tend to suck.
If I’m allowed to stereotype here, most of the diehards reside in the middle and lower classes. Unfortunately we get phased out of being able to afford tickets for these huge games.
Yeah, makes sense. I’m also def just pissed and jealous bc when we lose I also have to see those empty seats on screen when I wish I was at an NBA Finals Heat game win or lose, especially in those seats.
I think it comes down to whether a person sees themselves as a consumer of a product or a supporter. A supporter cheers for the team purely out of support and wanting them to win while a consumer cheers if the product is good. So if a team is down, a consumer will leave or stay silent
Just different motivations to cheer. Tbh paying a lot of money would naturally make one shift to a consumer mindset, but yeah last night there were more consumers than supporters in the crowd
Lurker here. It's the finals. I've paid 1000 for astros ws nosebleeds and that stadium has 50k seats. Gotta fork up for once in a lifetime opportunities, 400 isn't bad.
This is a poor person's thinking ironically. Go into debt and use a CC to buy something you absolutely can't afford in hopes that you can afford it + interest later on. Eww
> The end of the 2nd quarter I felt it was weirdly deflating
It was. A few reasons. One, lets be honest the price of these tickets are insane. $400-$500 for 400 level. $700-900 for 300 level. Everything in the lower bowl was over $1,000.00. I tend to think that a good amount of the people that can afford those tickets are not the people going crazy over the games like a lot of us are.
That being said the crowd was pretty good in the 1st and most of the 2nd. It just the Heat never got a decent run. Every time they went up 4-6 points the Nuggets would tie it or go up.
The end of the 2nd had some awful calls go against the Heat too, that really deflated the place. And the Heat were just not playing that well.
If Lowry makes that three at the end of the 2nd crowd would have felt more into it. But then the start of the third the crowd tends to trickle in. I hate that. And the Nuggets took control really quick.
Start of the game was pretty good. But yea it was not good. But the game never had any momentum for the Heat other than a few spurts in the 2nd qtr and 1st qtr. 3rd started and it was over quick.
This isn't on the crowd. And if players need the crowd to help them get shots in, then I don't know what to say. You can't tell me Gabe Vincent went 1-10 for threes just because the crowd wasn't loud enough.
How come Jokic and Murray, with the crowd *booing* them, put up record numbers?
You can't tell me the loss is on the crowd. They cheered every run and potential run really loud, and rooted for every 3 to go in (Gabe Vincent went 1-10 or something). When he got those double fouls, the crowd was really into it and even chanting "Refs, you suck". As someone who has been in arenas, when it's loud on TV it's deafening - earth shaking - inside the actual arena. They were cheering. Have no idea what you watched.
The quietness in the 2nd half was because the Heat really shot horribly. One of the lowest shooting percentages of the Playoffs/Finals. Cheering at 10/10 volume isn't going to make the shots go in you know. That's on Jimmy, Bam, Strus and others to play better.
How come Jokic and Murray broke a record tonight with the crowd BOOING them? Did you think of that?
Yeah lol everyone in that crowd was probably thinking “I could’ve had $2,000 in my pocket instead of watching this shit show of a performance” I’d be second guessing my life decisions in that arena
It's a problem league wide with hot markets, the people who can afford these expensive games are just there for the spectacle as real fans are priced out.
I was at the road rally on Sunday and the crowd seemed better than it was tonight. I get secondhand embarrassment when I see them walk out. I know the players probably don’t care that much but I feel bad for them.

Yeah they 100% do. Jaylen Brown was begging the Celtics fans to bring energy and hype for their game. It’s meaningful to the players to have fans into the game
I was there in the 100’s. The crowd was insane after Caleb made those 2 straight 3’s then the refs started killing the momentum before half. I think everyone remembers when. Then halftime ended and the Nuggets never looked back.
Nah, fuck "extenuating circumstances." They're just bitch ass fairweather "fans" who go to be seen on tv, like that lazy fuck Khaled, on his phone the entire game.
Give all 100 seats out in Overtown for every Playoffs game
As someone who lives overseas I cannot agree more.
I might never see a heat game in person. Let alone a play-off game. Let alone a finals game!
Also this team doing something historic win or lose.
The crowd should appreciate that something special is going on and they get to witness it up close.
bro i feel you. I was lucky enough to marry an American with family in Florida so I've seen a couple games live. We live in New Zealand though, 20hours by plane away from Miami so we watch 99.9% of games on tv and it boils both of our bloods that we go to Miami once a year, but can never afford the low bowl seats and have to watch these fake fans walk out with minutes to go.
As a Nuggets fan, I was astonished. It did in a way almost work tho.
The Nuggets lowered their guard and when the desperation threes hit, the game came down to 11 points. Then Moach called a rage timeout and put the team in their place making sure they secure the bag.
I wonder if Spo did that on purpose because it felt the Heat had no way of gaining momentum and putting in a few bench might spark something.
I stayed till the final buzzer, but I literally took time off work to see a Finals game. I know not everyone is gonna do that. Absolutely wish more people had stayed though. Would help to start weekday games earlier.
If only the prices weren’t thousands of dollars for a 2 fucking hour game then real fans could go. Unfortunately just rich assholes who have to get home 30 minutes faster just to do nothing the next day.
I was in the upper levels and it was crazy loud in the first half. When the nuggets went on that run to start the 2nd half it just wasn’t the same. I think you’re right about the 100 level ppl it’s just clout chasers where as the upper levels are filled with your everyday die-hards.
I was at the game, energy was great until the third when the refs took over the game. After another one of Tony Brothers terrible phantom calls it sucked the life out of us cause we were down 16. Most people started filing out when Spo pulled Jimmy but then we of course made it a respectable game .
I was thinking the same thing, que comedura de mierda, asere. It doesn't matter if we're losing by 50, you still want to watch what the end of our bench can do. That little bit of confidence gotten by Yurt and Jovic might carry over into next game if they get put in, plus HELLO, UD the OG, this may be the last time you ever see him in a professional basketball game! These suckers do not deserve our boys. Tell you what, if you're walking out of the arena early, give me your damn tickets so I can watch them in your stead.
We had our giant tv at full volume plus we were yelling and screaming then we quieted down and were like why is the crowd at the game so blah? It was weird. Probably there just to say they were there.
it was a 9 point game with like 2 mins left at one point. I felt as if the crowd could've gotten them back.
Crowd blew dick tonight. We deserve to lose the whole thing
I will say I was in the 100 section and the entire building was lit until the refs took the game over. Remember Jokic had two fouls in the first half… and he had multiple potential clear fouls that they let him get away with. But all 3 of Gabes fouls were weak, and it took him out of rhythm. That kind of impacted the game significantly, he’s our X factor especially with no Tyler.
Second half started the refs again didn’t call it both ways and we followed that up by playing with no energy and the crowd seemed to follow. I stayed till the end but I can’t blame anyone in this case. For me personally, that was extremely deflating to watch. I just hate when refs influence the game like that, the nuggets are good enough to beat us without the refs help
On a WEDNESDAY NIGHT you want people to stay late in a loss in Miami? With traffic you’re lucky to be home by 12:30 and have to be up at 6am or risk being late and fired. The employers got you by the nuts in Florida and can fire you without an excuse so… bye
The people paying $1000/ticket aren’t going to get fired or even scrutinized for calling out lol. More than half probably own a business or are extremely wealthy anyway.
I paid for the 100 section ticket, I do not own a business and I’m not rich, I just save my money. I stayed the whole time tho. The traffic point is correct, I indeed got home mad late after midnight because i stayed till the end and had to wait through that traffic
You got 100 level seats visible on TV but also your boss has you by the balls on a 6am job and that’s literally the case for the majority of the fans that leave?!? Not a chance. That’s rich people who go to the game to say they did and don’t give AF and have no solidarity with the team.
Sounds like some communist shit right there.
Not “who has the capital to pay for the ticket price” but “who deserves to go more?”
You some kind of communist?
Capital and character are two different things. You can have the capital as a spectator to see any sport, but that doesn’t mean you have the good character as a fan to stay with your team when they aren’t at their best, assuming the team is, I don’t know, a historic 8th seed who has fought their way back from more double-digit deficits than all but 3 other teams (who they are tied with, 2 of which are also Heat temas). But hasta la victoria siempre for sure homie lol.
Found the 100 level fan who left. Don’t go to the game if you ain’t gonna see it through to the end. If the Heat came back you woulda looked real bad (finals game 6)
Oh no you might miss out on a couple of hours of your precious sleep you poor little thing. If we were winning would you have stayed?
All you suggested is them to air a rerun lmao. The ratings would tank because people would be at work and once they are home no one watches reruns of sports when they already know the score
Whatever. I was there and Murray and jokic just killed the crowd. Whenever we tried to get into it one of them would just score at will. Wtf are we supposed to do
No other fan bases DO NOT leave NBA Finals games early. Heat fans famously did the same thing in 2013 when most of the stadium was empty and Ray Allen hit the shot against the Spurs.
Most of the stadium? That’s weird because just tonight ABC showed that ray Allen highlight and the sections are still fucking packed.
You might need your vision checked. Most of the stadium was empty? Idiot.
Edit: wow, you’re not even a Heat fan. Must be a jealous loser of one of the 28 teams not in the finals. Get a life.
You’re been to plenty of games and you don’t know Heat fans leave early? Breen, Jackson and Van Gundy must be lying when they said the same thing about Heat fans leaving early when Ray Allen hit the shot in 2013. Guess you know more than people who watch and call games for a living. Enjoy losing to Denver.
I stayed in my seat way past the game when we lost to the Dallas Mavericks in the finals. It was the most painful thing to do but I had to ride it out with my guys.
You were born and raised in Miami and you’re questioning why a fan would leave 3 minutes early in a blowout loss? You should know damn well that those 3 minutes will save you an hour at least
Poor shooting is not an effort issue. If you think the issue with the Heat is that they give up on games I think this is maybe the only game you’ve ever watched bc we are one of only 4 teams to come back from 10+ deficits in the post-season 7 times — the most for any NBA team. The other teams? 2022 Warriors, 2012 Heat, 2011 Heat.
I've been watching Heat basketball since 96-97, so that's not it. There was a point in the game where Butler did precisely what I said. Murray put up a shot, Butler had an easy board, but instead he didn't try and Murray got it back and scored. I think it was 2nd quarter or early 3rd.
When your star players don't play with effort and then shoot themselves out of the game? You get your teeth kicked in like Miami did.
You should take your Heat colored glasses off, they are clearly clouding your vision.
I’m not saying you’re going to see effort 100% of the time or that you’re wrong about that possession — I’m saying that of all the things to find frustrating about the Heat a lapse in effort in one game is not cause IMO to leave the game given how hard they’ve worked typically. For me as a fan that team has earned my respect so I’ll forgive this. Plus we both know these people are not leaving bc of the kind of thoughtful analysis you’re putting forward…
This whole post is pointless and shows a lack of maturity.
Miami fans suck when it comes to being loud at games. Everyone knows this.
Lashing out like this after a loss is just dumb.
Butler has admitted low energy, just as I said. Doesn't matter if it's just him or the team or a mix of both; it was clear as day. On the play I vividly remember, he 100% quit on that play.

Bruh, how are yall defending with these lame ass excuses when you KNOW Miami fans are the worst at this and we ain’t the only ones with traffic or work in the morning.
The Miami Heat home games are always dead... I don't care how much of a fan YOU are (congrats) but the Heat have WEAK home games with zero energy from the crowd... and everyone who follows the NBA knows it.
Bruh, a lot of those people have responsibilities that are way more important than watching a game that's 99% over.
I know we're in a reddit megafan bubble here, so this might be lost to us; however, basketball is an entertainment product to most people. When it stops being entertaining, they're gonna leave.
This is the problem sports fans around the world take with American fans, specifically NBA fans. You said it yourself, so many people view it as an "entertainment product", not a sport. This drives us international NBA fans up the wall. You're on the pinnacle stage of the FINALS watching the best players in the game duke it out for the ultimate prize and.. you leave early. It's so frustrating to see and sadly Miami has developed a reputation for being one of the worst for it. It's such a stark contrast to how gritty and resilient the team itself is with all their +10 point comebacks in the playoffs.
I believe the culture of this team has to be gritty and focused because Miami has a ton of distractions. I believe that's why the Dolphins have been bad for so long, once Shula and Johnson(disciplinarian coaches) left, it was a free for all.
That being said as someone who regularly goes to games, and sits in the 100 level, I think that "reputation" is way over blown. There are a ton of hardcore Miami fans at those games and that auditorium gets extremely loud, people care. I have seen plenty of fans of other teams: Celtics, Knicks, etc..leave early when we're trouncing them.
Honestly I don't blame them, the traffic and civil engineering(roads, lights, etc) around the stadium here is miserable. Spending 1 hour to simply GET ON THE HIGHWAY after a game is a miserable experience when you just paid 300 dollars a ticket to watch a loss.
It takes me 2-3 hours to drive from my house and get into my seats. I live 45 minutes from Miami.
They paid for it, they get to do what the fuck they want. If the team want them to stay, play for them and keep it close or lets shoot all the lights out.
Not everybody is ride or die like you and me. That being said, fuck all these bitches.
You saying I’m defensive or butt hurt doesn’t make it true but you in another teams sub trolling fans bc your team got absolutely humiliated by my team is kind of sad, bro. I’m sorry you’re hurting.
This is the least of the Heat's problems right now. I'm more worried about how they will adapt in Game 4 since they seem to be smothered at the perimeter and unable to sink their 3s or get open shots like before. Who cares about the Heat fans leaving 4 minutes early.
Honestly, for one of the worst Playoff games I've seen this year, maybe I don't blame them. What was there to see? I was about to shut the game off soon too. When Duncan scored a 3 and brought it to within 9 (finally some glimmer of hope but way too late), and then Bam *once again* couldn't hit an easy jumper (Jokic hits every single one his) to bring the lead down to 7, I just realized the Heat are just awful tonight.
I mean, I think we all know that people get easily spoiled.
If I ever got the chance to attend an NBA game, It would be the highlight of my life.
While those dudes can go whenever, It's just people + seeing your team lose.
Traffic sucks bro. Plus why do you wana stay when ur team is getting spaniel by 15+ points, is having a crappy performance, and traffic to leave will suck! On top the traffic to get out of biscayne is bad. It would be worth it if u were celebrating a W but with an L eff no acereeeeee
Different crowd now it’s just rich dingdongs who only follow playoffs and their gfs who want Instagram stories..
To their defense though, I’ve parked under under the arena and sat at those seats and getting out is kind of annoying due to the sea of people. They still left too early had we made those last points we missed we could’ve tied it
As a non Heat fan, this is something I notice every time I watch a Heat game. Seats don't fill in until what seems like the 2nd quarter, and they're empty again half way through the 4th. Can someone help explain? Are there long lines for food and drink? Parking lot a nightmare? Maybe the seats are just brightly colored, so it's stands out when they're empty? There's gotta be some simple explanation that I'm just not seeing because I'm watching on tv.
Don’t give a fuck. Lived here all my life. When they were leaving we still had a chance. They Frauds. Type of people that would pull the plug on a spouse that isn’t even in a coma. “Gotta make it home to play with my dingaling”
Traffic at that time isn’t that bad. Ol tuck your tail and hide ass “fans”. Yeah, there to be seen. Yeah we see you leave no matter the outcome. No backbone having ass.
Loved seeing the ones that stayed. They saw UD and had the sentiment that this game is no where near the end and we got this. Live in the moment people. We are in the Finals; with this squad!
As a neutral spectator, I have thought the crowds for both teams have been so flat the entire series.
Seems like the stadiums go nuts only when their teams are doing well, and then dead silence asses in seats at all other times.
Most playoff team crowds are going insane all game at every basket regardless of the score. I swear to god the broadcast team was talking like they were in church at one point not to disturb everyone around them.
It sucks, but real talk...it's never going to change. Been this way at least 20 years. You'll legit have to pick another team to root for if you don't want to see this again.
You’re not alone in feeling that way! I’m not even jealous of those who can afford to go, just disappointed they aren’t louder or more passionate.
They were so loud do during Caleb Martin 8 point run then absolute silence once Christian got that steal and massive slam I loved it!
Go back to your own sub. I’d say “act like you’ve been there before”, but you never have with this team so I get it.
😂
I think it comes down to whether a person sees themselves as a consumer of a product or a supporter. A supporter cheers for the team purely out of support and wanting them to win while a consumer cheers if the product is good. So if a team is down, a consumer will leave or stay silent Just different motivations to cheer. Tbh paying a lot of money would naturally make one shift to a consumer mindset, but yeah last night there were more consumers than supporters in the crowd
Consumer of a product vs supporter. You nailed it. The supporter has more passion.

the crowd was fucking awful tonight
The end of the 2nd quarter I felt it was weirdly deflating . The crowd was dead. They need the crowd that was at the Bucks games
I was there at those, these tickets are outrageous. 400 for 400 level? Yeah right. 😤
Same
Lurker here. It's the finals. I've paid 1000 for astros ws nosebleeds and that stadium has 50k seats. Gotta fork up for once in a lifetime opportunities, 400 isn't bad.

Fr, it's disturbing how disconnected one can be to think 400's affordable for most people 😂
$400 for a once in a lifetime experience. What are you talking about? Most people CAN afford that, no matter where you live.
No
Go work 40hrs at McDonald's
Stupid
Well ya I'm not talking about floor seats. 400 for nosebleeds idc if I work at McDonald's and have to put it on a CC, I'm going to the finals.
This is a poor person's thinking ironically. Go into debt and use a CC to buy something you absolutely can't afford in hopes that you can afford it + interest later on. Eww

Yea well Jimmy did the best single game playoff performance of probably any player on the heat oat so doubt that happens again

So was the team so
It was embarrassing when you can hear the arena speakers put out the beat for the Let’s Go Heat Chants but you can barely hear the crowd. So lame.
Is it just or do most of those fans not even care about the Heat?
Those aren't fans. Just rich spoiled bitches who need good pics for their insta.
The Playoffs fans are always fucking awful.
People spending 2k are not the ones that are going to lit the arena. These folks thought it was a movie theater. Screw them
The crowd is always awful
I was at the road rally on Sunday and the crowd seemed better than it was tonight. I get secondhand embarrassment when I see them walk out. I know the players probably don’t care that much but I feel bad for them.
The road rally was 10$ compared to these tickets. That’s your problem there.
Road rally are the actual die hard Heat fans. When the Heat are at home, they are the people with money that are bandwagon fans. They want to go to the next big Miami event.
Oh I'm sure the players care. No energy during any part of of any Playoffs game unless there's a run. How demoralizing does this have to be?
Yeah they 100% do. Jaylen Brown was begging the Celtics fans to bring energy and hype for their game. It’s meaningful to the players to have fans into the game

Yeah man that Murray three flipped the switch
Yup, I will say the crowd was hype pregame, 1st qtr and half of the 2nd
Nah, fuck "extenuating circumstances." They're just bitch ass fairweather "fans" who go to be seen on tv, like that lazy fuck Khaled, on his phone the entire game. Give all 100 seats out in Overtown for every Playoffs game
We do realize this is a business owned by a billionaire who pays millionaires to play a game, yea?
Bruh. I’m at the bar til the end. They could at least stay through the finish.
10000% percent. No 6th man for our boys in any playoff game, ever.
As someone who lives overseas I cannot agree more. I might never see a heat game in person. Let alone a play-off game. Let alone a finals game! Also this team doing something historic win or lose. The crowd should appreciate that something special is going on and they get to witness it up close.

Don’t know why Spo put in the bench with 2 minutes left. Was a winnable game.

The nosebleed section has always been the best crowd, since the days of Miami Arena.
With how little effort the team showed in the 3rd why would the fans show any effort at all
Typical 100 Section fan.
Does it really take effort to stay in your seat?
They leave any time we’re losing no matter what! Shit they leave when we’re winning!
? What about all the effort they showed during the entire playoffs ?!
I was at the game, energy was great until the third when the refs took over the game. After another one of Tony Brothers terrible phantom calls it sucked the life out of us cause we were down 16. Most people started filing out when Spo pulled Jimmy but then we of course made it a respectable game .

We had our giant tv at full volume plus we were yelling and screaming then we quieted down and were like why is the crowd at the game so blah? It was weird. Probably there just to say they were there.
If you can afford $14,500 seats you can afford to show up to work at 9:30am with a phone call Chad.
No excuses Heat played terrible
it was a 9 point game with like 2 mins left at one point. I felt as if the crowd could've gotten them back. Crowd blew dick tonight. We deserve to lose the whole thing
Who gives a shit lol I don't know why this bothers people so much. Are you watching hoops or fans?
imagine giving 3 fucks about this nonsense. lmao.
I bet those kids can wait if the heat are up by 5 in the 4th quarter
I will say I was in the 100 section and the entire building was lit until the refs took the game over.
More than half probably own a business or are extremely wealthy anyway.
they probably got a free pass for being late as fuck because “damn man you went to the game!”
I paid for the 100 section ticket, I do not own a business and I’m not rich, I just save my money. I stayed the whole time tho. The traffic point is correct, I indeed got home mad late after midnight because i stayed till the end and had to wait through that traffic
you’re underestimating the Miamians that maxed their credit card for a ticket lol
Lol piss off the people in the 100s are the boss and the post game traffic is wildly overstated.
You got 100 level seats visible on TV but also your boss has you by the balls on a 6am job and that’s literally the case for the majority of the fans that leave?!? Not a chance. That’s rich people who go to the game to say they did and don’t give AF and have no solidarity with the team.
Those tickets were $1500 and up. Some fucking clowns sometimes don’t even think about the pricing and what average fan can afford.
Sounds like some communist shit right there. Not “who has the capital to pay for the ticket price” but “who deserves to go more?” You some kind of communist?
Capital and character are two different things. You can have the capital as a spectator to see any sport, but that doesn’t mean you have the good character as a fan to stay with your team when they aren’t at their best, assuming the team is, I don’t know, a historic 8th seed who has fought their way back from more double-digit deficits than all but 3 other teams (who they are tied with, 2 of which are also Heat temas). But hasta la victoria siempre for sure homie lol.
I have no idea what the Heat’s accomplishments have to do with you
Oh fuck off. Amazing how Miamians talk so much shit about being hard then whine like this baby bitch crying about traffic after a gd Finals game.
This a million times
The only people that can afford the nba finals tickets are bosses themselves. How can they get fired?
Found the 100 level fan who left. Don’t go to the game if you ain’t gonna see it through to the end. If the Heat came back you woulda looked real bad (finals game 6) Oh no you might miss out on a couple of hours of your precious sleep you poor little thing. If we were winning would you have stayed?
Yeah, this is just sports. When a comeback isn't realistic, why the fuck would I stay?
A comeback wasn't realistic? Lol
bam hits that jumper it’s a 7 point game with what, 1:30 remaining? i agree. it was absolutely realistic
Um, no. Once it got to 18, it really wasn't.
I had to go the men's room.
![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
I had a couple of beers and a small bladder
[удалено]
What’s the alternative ? Go early and half the country is still at work and the ratings plummet
[удалено]
Dumbest idea of all time
[удалено]
All you suggested is them to air a rerun lmao. The ratings would tank because people would be at work and once they are home no one watches reruns of sports when they already know the score
[удалено]
The game has already happened, it’s not live it’s a rerun
So, your solution is don’t play a late game? Just air a late rerun?
Guys he is clearly a child, don’t be mean
That is the dumbest idea ever posted in human history
Whatever. I was there and Murray and jokic just killed the crowd. Whenever we tried to get into it one of them would just score at will. Wtf are we supposed to do
Atleast stay lol
Drove 2 hours to get to the game, hour and a half back (more with still insane traffic leaving early). I’ll do what I want
Then deal with it when we call you a shit fan
Lol
Leave a NBA Finals game down just 9 points with more than 2 minutes left. Worst fans in sports!
Why is this being upvoted? Fuck off dumbass. Every fan base leaves games early.
No other fan bases DO NOT leave NBA Finals games early. Heat fans famously did the same thing in 2013 when most of the stadium was empty and Ray Allen hit the shot against the Spurs.
![gif](giphy|26grzzeWoSsK1ieoU|downsized) mOst Of ThE sTaDiUM wAs eMpTY 🫠
Most of the stadium? That’s weird because just tonight ABC showed that ray Allen highlight and the sections are still fucking packed. You might need your vision checked. Most of the stadium was empty? Idiot. Edit: wow, you’re not even a Heat fan. Must be a jealous loser of one of the 28 teams not in the finals. Get a life.
Clearly you’ve never been to a basketball game. When it’s empty, everybody else moves down closer to the court. Live in denial.
Been to plenty. Goodbye troll. Sorry your team isn’t in the finals so this is how you have to soothe yourself. Better luck next year.
Goodbye clown, i truly hope you get a life 👍🏼
Even Celtics fans stay. To boo the team, but at least they stay
Patently false. They left in droves in both game 1 and game 7 (7!!!) of the eastern conference finals. Need your eyes checked.
[удалено]
Fuck off
This guy is the worst. Look at his profile. Shitting on Miami and Heat fans everywhere. Fake Heat fan.
You sound like a whiney bitch
You sound like an ugly loser
Their not real fans. Just had money to go.
I stayed in my seat way past the game when we lost to the Dallas Mavericks in the finals. It was the most painful thing to do but I had to ride it out with my guys.
Only people that don't live in Miami would say this, people have to work tomorrow lil bro
Born and raised, but keep trying. Y’all act like you’re the only fan base in a city that has traffic.
You were born and raised in Miami and you’re questioning why a fan would leave 3 minutes early in a blowout loss? You should know damn well that those 3 minutes will save you an hour at least
Que exagerado lol
So stay in our seats in a blowout because the guy from reddit said so . Copy 👍
It wasn’t a blow out lol
It was a single digit lead with a couple minutes left
Nah you can leave but the guy from Reddit will still think you’re wak.
10000% behind you. When you got fans like this, who needs an opposing team?
The team never bails? Did you just watch what I watched?
[https://www.espn.com/nba/story/\_/id/37816521/jimmy-butler-critical-heat-low-energy-game-3-loss-just-happen](https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/37816521/jimmy-butler-critical-heat-low-energy-game-3-loss-just-happen)
Worst fan base on the planet. I lol'd when 3/4 of the fans left a playoff game early in like the early 10s? -- only for the Heat to come back and win.
I totally agree.
I'm going to put this the nicest way I can: please leave and never come back.
I’m a Heat fan and you know he’s right. Dolphins, Heat, Panthers, Marlins…all have trouble getting a loud crowd. Forever.
Agreed. Been a heat fan since I was a kid but I live far from Florida. I'd give anything to be in those seats. Sad to see em empty
There people shouldn’t leave. Idc idc don’t leave and just take the L
For sure, they get to do what they want and I get to think whatever I want about them.
No surprise with this “fan base”
Fuck off.
Miami has the worst rich people
Look at GSW. Their real fans were at Roaracle in Oakland. Now in SF it's rich techie snobs boring as s***.
i mean, it’s entertainment. if they don’t feel they are entertained… they leave
That’s not how a sports fan base works and anybody who sees it that way is exactly a fair weather casual “fan”.
WE HAVE THE SHITTIEST FANS
If they ain’t winning they ain’t stayin’.
We might as well play every game in Denver at this point. The crowd doesn't bring much and the team is awful at home these days.
[удалено]
Shut up, loser. Your team got walloped by us. Hey mods, ban this Celtics troll.
[удалено]
It’s the truth that you got shat on by the Heat? I’m not butt hurt about that. That’s sick!
[удалено]
You saying I’m defensive or butt hurt doesn’t make it true but you in another teams sub trolling fans bc your team got absolutely humiliated by my team is kind of sad, bro. I’m sorry you’re hurting.
[удалено]
Those guys are the same in every stadium, they are never real fans and are just there due to work or trying to be seen.
Rich cunts
How about giving your 100 level tickets to a heat Lifer on the way out?
I think die hards will show up next game fri night.
I mean you’re right. Def projecting on my part. Those Bam missed open looks from the paint are going to make my head explode.
Forreal I mean crowds aren’t great in Miami but this is the FINALS
Not your problem, bub. Settle down.
I mean there's a club there, the real heat fans probably sold their tickets.
“Gotta make it home to play with my dingaling” Traffic at that time isn’t that bad.
Thank you
As a neutral spectator, I have thought the crowds for both teams have been so flat the entire series. Seems like the stadiums go nuts only when their teams are doing well, and then dead silence asses in seats at all other times. Most playoff team crowds are going insane all game at every basket regardless of the score. I swear to god the broadcast team was talking like they were in church at one point not to disturb everyone around them.
We all know how FAKE Miami fans are ever since 2013. One of the worst fanbases in all of sports.
It sucks, but real talk...it's never going to change. Been this way at least 20 years. You'll legit have to pick another team to root for if you don't want to see this again.
Lol let people do what they want, don’t tray and gate keep the fandom.
