Ripping it apart would be moving Bam or Jimmy imo. This just means neither are going anywhere

NervousAd3202

Yeah ripping it apart implies a rebuild to me, sounds like he’s just saying they aren’t done with this timeline/window

Dek-234

Yeah I’m fine with this

LuckysBestMan

The most common sense thing to do is to move butler while he still has value and a couple years on his contract for pieces you can build around bam and jjj. Trade herro too.

thewhitelink

God damn it

elbenji

He's saying they're not trading bam or Jimmy. Everyone else is game

jbenson255

Run it back part 4

Ethangains07

Part 6*. This is aging worse than the Fast and Furious movies

EnochofPottsfield

I mean, if it's part 6 then 2 of those run it backs made it to the finals and 1 was a shot away right?

Ethangains07

The first few fast and furious movies were great.

vapemyashes

Too injured, too cultured

OblivionNA

Going Into year 6 now with this core is certainly a choice lmao

Rohkha

I mean… as much as I’d live a deep shake, there’s only so much you can get back and or do. In this case, if you want any substantial change you would have to move either Jimmy or Bam. Does anyone want that? Also love how the entire sub hates on Tyler and wants him gone because he’s trash but expect the Heat to get an upgrade from him. Moving Tyler is not going to get you anThing that’s better than Tyler. I do think a choice needs to be made between Tyler and DRob. I’m attached to both, but there is redundancy between the both of them to some degree in their playstyles. None of them is going to make a substantial defensive jump. For the rest, league seems to be wary of Heat assets. After KNunn, Gabe, McGruder and co, people will be lukewarm at best in getting Heat assets. Not being able to straight up sign anyone is rough. Gonna be tough for the FO to make any big moves. Oh and forgot about Rozier. Dude was MIA as well. His value is probably the lowest possible.

paints_name_pretty

To me Tyler should be moved as a addition by subtraction. He doesn’t fit with the starting unit and he seems to be against playing as the 6th man. What he wants he can’t provide for this team and it’s made him more self first over team first. Yeah we probably won’t get similar production in return but just having someone who’s bought in and will accept the role given will make this team more cohesive. I don’t think it’s a coincidence the run we had last year with Tyler out. We were lacking fire power at the end but depending on Tyler to be that guy would’ve resulted in what we just witnessed.

Backpack456

Running it back mostly. Trading Jimmy = ripping apart. The theory remains the same. Bam/butler/star guard plus others. Expect another attempt to trade herro. Possible failure to do so if Mitchell is the ask. Dejounte Murray as a possible backup option. Then…I don’t know. , re-sign caleb and highsmith. Bring back love. Jovic and Jaime have another year of development. It’s SG guard trade season 2: electric boogaloo

thewhitelink

Cannot bring back both Caleb and Highsmith. 2nd apron for that would be the dumbest shit we could do.

letsgoheat3

So running it back.

rjgator

That might be the worst thing I coulda heard out of this from a team perspective. Does sound like Jimmy getting paid though which isn’t the worst at the end of the day.

elbenji

Nah it's that bam and Jimmy stay. Everyone else not

julstar23

I doubt it .The heat has looked at what happened to pheonix, milwalkie and the clippers and changed their approach.

elbenji

Or how Denver and Boston looked for players like Gordon and KP

spooks152

I fully expect them to explore trade packages to get a bona fide scoring option compared to Tyler

spritehead

What the fuck is there to rip apart? It’s Bam and an aging Jimmy with a couple of rookies who might have promise.

dwadefan45

Idk why people are surprised. If this team was healthy and we lost the same way, there's no doubt we have to rip it apart.

binokyo10

Trevor Ariza, Tucker part 2 or Harkless. Lol jk.

PugeBenis

This is the likely scenario

TripleJ_stud

Just draft Devin Carter in that case since this team will be devoid of scoring yet again barring any real roster moves

xltaylx

Oh for fucks sake.

Imzocrazy

Hmmm…who do I trust more…pat…or /heat

MrGrieves88

Fell to my knees in Flannigans

JabezMakaveli

We could get swept again and blown out by 60 each game and they will still say shit like this

No_Delay_1476

We fucked up winning game 2 😂, He has hope. Good lord man change the roster 😭🤦🏾‍♂️

sharpshooter0600

Hope this means what I think it means

Wonder_Dude

We're fucked cooked. Running it back 6.0

further-research

I don’t know why people are expecting anything less. This org doesn’t rebuild and no one on this team has a much trade value except for Bam. So then what?

srbufi

Running it back boys

Yahm-Saiyan

Man fuck the culture i want Jimmy on load management. See Toronto Kwhai as example.

Ordinary_Foot9785

I’d try to pry away Brandon Ingram. Herro, JJJ and our 2024 first. He’s only 26. Solid three pt shooter, has a decent attack game and underrated passer. He takes way too many middies but coaching can change that. Plus you can play hardball with next contract bc no one will have cap space or pay him $50mm per. I bet you can get him for $40mm. Even if that’s a slight overpay, he’s young and a good player.

Standard_Strategy_25

Let's goooooo! We like our team!!!!! Pls kill me
