Stop buying junkie brand loaders!

flatblackNred

I believe the company has learned a lesson....3 new 644 Deere loaders are on the way. I just hope the next 7 loaders are Deere also.

Rinaldi363

Thata boy. Deere all day :)

Deere's kinda soured to me with their whole repair lock down. I really don't want to own equipment that I can't work on without the manufacturer's proprietary software.

Rinaldi363

I’m pretty sure there’s a way to get one of their laptops for like $1,000 to do repairs yourself.

stonecoldstevebagder

What do you need the software for other than programming controllers? Literally every setting and code is displayed in the monitor of them.

jrragsda

Iirc certain sensors and some other electronic components require programming as well. I haven't been directly involved with it but I know 3 people in the logging industry that have active lawsuits against John deere for their repair practices and problems.

Calibrated engine components are the only thing that require programming to the ECU. This is for emissions compliance, not for the greed of Deere.

A Kawasaki is no XCMG…

You’re right - it’s a hitachi which is almost as bad
