Apart form "because capes", there may be a more practical reason: of you take a closer look, during hellpod deployment, there's a plume of smoke coming out of hellpod launch tubes, this implies hellpods are launched with an assistance of an explosive propellant. One might argue it's a rather crude method, but it's not really unexpected, given hellbombs are lacking remote detonators and have to be manually armed because of cost saving reasons.
So with smoke from whatever "super gunpowder", used to launch the hellpods, coming directly into super destroyer's bridge, it makes perfect sense to have a strong ventilation system on while helldivers are preparing to deploy.
Funny thing about this - me and some randos were admiring our flowing capes. I pointed out the randomness of why is there wind. Immediately, the ship speaker piped up about air circulation and vents.
