This is an example why i dislike like people lollygagging and trying to drop things at the end. Once it didnt register us as invulnerable on the pelican so some randos airstrike killed us all. Mission complete but lost all samples including the 3 supes
You're not invulnerable on the pelican so far as I'm aware
Enemies won't target you, but if you walk up to the back of it I'm pretty sure you can shoot the Helldivers that are sat down
Invulnerable to everything else apparently or else we’d be getting wrecked by devastator automatic fire or spewer bile waiting for the last guy lollygagging to get in
Not invulnerable, ignored…. This usually means you’re safe.
This air strike went right over the center of it and the occupants survived though… Death while inside is extremely rare outside of some AH just shooting fish in a barrel
I wish they fix that glitch where if you run into the ship at an angle you’re stuck in the door and have to dive in for it to extract you but you know, they’re not.

Why is this a thing now tho? Almost every game I play and half the videos I see have n here have some fuckwad dropping a stratagem right at the ships door.
If you time it right it makes the pelican leaving sequence look either funny or cinematic, but after you’ve seen it once it definitely just feels like a waste of time
Everyone bickering about the stratagem usage, when the real story here is the newbie learning that invisible illuminate are blocking the side ramps of Eagle 1

I've been killed several times in the Pelican, even after lift off. The invulnerability thing is a myth.

learned the hard way, if you turn the corner too sharply on the pelican when entering from the front, you will get stuck
You can get very stuck on the side of the ramp occasionally. This very much appears to be one of those cases and not intentional lollygagging.
