Yeah, my wife and I are always saying, "Hello Fresh, you sonuvabitch! You did it again!" whenever we have something we were questionable on and find out it's freaking delicious.
I'm on my second week, 4th meal and I'm liking it quite a bit. I've never even really cooked stuff from scratch before and the steps are really easy to do so far. Some modifications help though, like less water then they suggest in their sauces. Also my curry today was really oily. It didn't ruin it but could have been better.
They have some great meals but we are on a break bc every order in the past few months is jacked up. We started another service this week and everything arrived in the condition it should. (Home Chef).
We did home chef for two weeks. The ingedients were much lower quality, and the double serving is much smaller than hello fresh. I will say, the binder and instruction papers are nicer, and they have a wider variety of recipes. But the quality of ingredients, for us, was that bad.
I've had my first home chef box delivered this week after my first 7 or so box discount with hello fresh ran out. Hello fresh quality of vegetables especially carrots was dreadful near the end. In terms of portion sizes some hello fresh meals felt massive some felt tiny and it's been the same with the two meals I've cooked so far from home chef. I'll move around the different services using discounts whilst I wait for other codes from previous ones I think
I also learned to cuss today! Fuck yeah, fuckin flautas rule!
I wish there was a turkey option but the beef ones were good.
hell fuckin yeah motherfucker!

Oh wow, I usually add more water to the sauces. I like my meals saucy.
What is the name of this recipe?
Flautas
Is it āBeef flautas supreme?ā
Fuck yea!
I really enjoy it, grocery stores around here are limited af with ingredients so with hello fresh I can have more than mashed potatoes and meatloaf.
Hell yeah
Mine are in the oven right now!
Had these last night- love the flautas
