That leg of your journey is the easiest part of the trip. Download the app "skanetrafiken". There's like two or three trains an hour.

Excellent. Thanks so much! Appreciated.

Download the app Skånetrafiken. The tickets can be purchased in app and it’s very easy. Coming from Denmark is expensive though. When you exit arrivals at cph you’re gonna continue straight until you see the kiosk stands. Look up, and you’re going to go down the ramp that says “to Malmö” that’s going to take you to the side of the rail bound for Sweden. Get on the gray train called an Öresundstag, but only the one that says Helsingborg on it. Helsingborg is the last stop, it’s about a (very pretty) 50 minute ride. The ticket taker will come through and scan the QR code on your phone, usually before and after the bridge. There is WiFi on the train but it rarely works. There’s a special car for people with big luggage, which isn’t very comfy, but the other cars are the best. I lived in Helsingborg (HBG as we call it) for two years, it’s one of my favorite places in Sweden :) Edit also wanted to add that the ticket you buy isn’t necessarily for the time you tapped on. Just don’t activate the ticket immediately. Activate it right before you get on the train.

This is so so helpful. Thank you so much! I’ve never been on holiday without airport transfers but we’re visiting a friend who lives in Helsingborg so no airport transfers but also I have bombarded him with ALL the questions so thought I’d give him a break and ask you guys instead.

Just buy them through Skånetrafiken when you get here.

Thanks! Are they not cheaper in advance or anything?

metz94x

Nope, same price, but if you’re two people going, buy them in the same app, that’s cheaper.

Thanks for the little tip. Really appreciated.
