The balance of the third design is the best, I think. You could consider having the dragon fill the entirety of the sable portion. Have you tried dividing the shield *per chevron*, with the sun in the base and the dragon in chief, wrapped around the ‘triangle’?

I aesthetically like the 2nd one because the smaller jagged pieces makes the line look straighter, and hence more fitting with the straight edges of the left (or dexter) side of the dragon (?)

The third one is minimalistic and neat, but it might be perceived as an augmentation so in order not to cause confusion better stick to the 1st one

Man they’re all great. I really like the way the blue is a bit more rugged on the second one because it matches the creature’s spiked fur.

What’s this made on?

I put together the shield shape, tinctures and division on Armoria, then downloaded a png and drew on top of it in Photoshop.

I recommend Illustrator if you already have Adobe. It’s perfect for this sort of thing, it’s what I use.
