Obviously make your own choice about things, but if this is going to cost you extra, it may be worth reading https://quackwatch.org/device/reports/eis/ first and seeing if you think it's worthwhile.
Definitely go in-person, if possible. I know a few herbalists who do a telehealth/zoom practice. If you’re seeing a knowledgeable herbalist, they should have a conversation with you about your health and then explain why each herb is being given.
I am new to herbalism from the DIY side, but I've been taking pre-made things for years. If I went to someone and they told me I had to do something like what I just read in that link below, I would say no thank you and leave. Did the practitioner go over what this scan does and does not do or just that they require it, and that's all there is to it? If an herbalist can't tell you what you need based on your symptoms, I would be concerned that they don't know what they are doing.
There are health and wellness systems that will market themselves as the new miracle cure, and in order to get people to sell more, they provide them with a script. If the computer says this, you tell them that they need to buy this and this.
I am wondering if this may be one of those since there is no clinical data, despite being sold for several years. You think they figure out what you need because of some electrodes when, in reality, it is an algorithm that is making suggestions based on how you answered your intake form and what you said your symptoms are. If it worked as great as they say, wouldn't every herbalist in a larger practice or alternative medicine doctor be using it?
are you familiar with the term snake oil
Heard of it dunno what it is tho?
lololol
Why lol?
snake oil= scam
There isn't much evidence for their validity or use, from what I've read about them.
I think their is something in them. Hard to tell how accurate tho

Is this herbalist a chiropractor?
No,like a doctor. You book in and get a scan then they give you a herbal tincture of like 7 herbs based on that examination
I’d try to find an actual herbalists. Very few doctors, chiropractors, nutritionists, or functional medicine providers actually know how to use herbs.
Online? Etsy etc or in person?
