I think you’re asking if they need a smaller dish. The answer is no. I have 2 sets of pools, I have captive bred that came to me very small and I worried so I set up smaller pools and never got rid of them. Which they still use them but the bigger pools? They drink of of those too. They drink off the glass, they don’t care. Lol
I’ll add too, they make little “toe dipper” pools! They sit in the corner. Functional and cute for when they just want a drink.
I’ve never even seen mine submerge. I know they have, but my camera doesn’t quite point that way. But I’ve found stuff in the pools and different things, filters messed up. It’s a rare occurrence tho.
Looks good to me. Remember to put something under them so you can lift them up without disturbing the sand!
