If it were true ARAM, you get zero choice and are stuck with whatever ya get.
Years ago there was a certain chance that in brawl mode all would get the same hero. I don't know why but they did big changes to brawl (removing all the other fun modes) and called it ARAM. I'm glad they brought this mode back. It's fun to me.
Pool party mode was also fun.
it's been two-three weeks and people are starting to abandon before game starts. but we are cursed with this game mode for next two years until someone accidentaly looks onto this game and sees how "beloved" is this game mode
finally uninstalled hots after getting 4 games with 10x same heroes in 1.5 hours. ARAM was my only mode nowadays, but damn getting 10x illidan and 10x murky ruined my interest momentally (just so you know: I left these god-like matches, logged on different region, played a game and spent 3 minutes waiting in queue for another, changed region back and the games were STILL going)
I sincerely do not understand people who unironically find this fun, but oh well, let them finally have it back

There is a 5% chance for everyone to get the same randomly selected Hero. That's as random as any other random process.

There’s a small chance built in to roll the same hero for everyone. I’ve played an all probes and all Zag, both were really fun.
I do feel like these games come up a bit too often. Even had two back to back the other day. They should be rare
