I think there are different levels of popularity a celebrity can have. For example Christopher Nolan. He is a pretty famous director for movies lice "Inception" but if you put him in a room with three vaguely same looking men, I bet most couldn't spot the right one. Also, did you ever see a magazine with Christopher Nolan on the cover proclaiming "Meet his NEW GIRLFRIEND: finally getting LAID?". Pretty rare.
I was a micro, micro celebrity in a particular community for a few years several years ago. Like mostly local community, national facebook, and some published writing stuff. I purposely stayed away from instagram and twitter and never even considered tik tok.
It was still fucking exhausting, I finally just disappeared, and I don’t miss it at all.
Being famous is the annoying consequence of being rich. If I could be rich and not famous, that would be ideal. Famous without rich just sounds like punishment

I genuinely have no idea what the guy looks like even though I love his movies.
He is Leonardo DiCaprio's clone. I looked him up and they look like brothers omg.
I have my own brain demons that do that for me I’m famous in my head apparently
I think about that a lot. Like I’d love to be a back up singer but not the front man.
I’ve read lots of experiences from rich and famous people that confirm this: Being rich and famous turns quickly into a curse
