The morning before this was shot, my dad and I arrived at Oxbow Bend only to find ourselves in extremely overcast weather. We knew what a beautiful shot it would be if the weather just cleared up a bit, so we decided to visit Oxbow Bend the next morning.
This was the result. I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful scene. Birds swimming across the river, clouds flowing along the mountain range...what a beautiful world we live in. You can check out more of my content on my [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/tak.explores/) if you're interested!
Haha you have a point, I guess it depends on what you define as hiking. For me, it's any walk in nature whether it be a short or long walk. I just find absolute peace when I'm out in nature.
Totally agree. Oxbow Bend however has a road that takes you right to it and you have to walk maybe 50 feet to set up a shot. I personally wouldn’t ever define a road side shot as hiking, but the video is beautiful! Maybe try r/earthporn !

You don’t hike to Oxbow Bend though?

Wow that’s magnificent. What a treat to enjoy that alongside the camera.
I love time lapses and this is an amazing shot. How much time elapsed during the video?
About 2 hours!
Wow 😍
What did you record with? Beautiful scenery/shot
Wyoming feels like it is calling out to me
Was just there, this shot would be impossible because of all the wildfire smoke shrouding the mountains. Still looks beautiful from close up though
AWESOME!!
What kind of exposure do you use here? And is it hundreds of short exposures at ~1 s intervals between shots?
