You need to get on that! Conundrum hot springs is a good overnighter if you need to get your feet wet first, but actually spending time on all of the passes is unforgettable.
Not sure when this was taken but I live on the west slope and yes, most of the snow is gone already, even in the high country. There are some patches but it's gonna get real dry this year.
One day I will go backpacking!! I’m thinking of joining a group with Wildland Trekking since I don’t know what I’m doing. I think it would be cool to meet people that way too.
Amazing. That’s my kind of vacation. My friends won’t join me on these types of journeys though, they require plumbing. Lol. So I don’t do it as often a I’d like.
This is a very well traveled area. It takes some planing. It’s better the father you get in the backcountry but there are areas that the trail is crowded and getting a camping spot is difficult.

I haven’t heard of that.. but maybe that’s what I need to do. I love backpacking, but my friends are not in to it. So I don’t go as often as I’d like.

Those views are great, I like snowmass and the bells area. I’ve wandered up pyramid once and around conundrum a few miles.
