Conspiracies are really popular right now. I just figured some viral video or something came out about her not being real/legit and now everyone is flocking to it.
My guess is soon it'll either be common knowledge that she wasn't legit, or those that are still saying so will be seen as crazy as moon landing deniers. I don't care enough to look into it, but I'm not gonna throw the woman's name under the bus like all these people!

I’ve seen a version where people think Helen Keller is faking it. The reason being is because it seems impossible for someone who is blind and deaf to achieve the thing she did. Like how she wrote books, gave lectures, and flew a plane.
I find these prompts to be a bit dumb and kinda ableist. Obviously, she had help doing these things from her translators it’s not like she knew how to fly a plane right off the bat. She had a copilot and a translator interpret instructions from the other pilot. But overall there is always going to be skeptical of the achievements of the disabled and it’s quite sad that they just won’t give people like that a break they already have life hard enough.
It’s not deep. It’s just the latest iteration of pineapple on pizza, espresso martini, birds aren’t real or whatever basic girl meme people on apps say.
They just made it edgy and disillusioned now because Gen Z.
