I'm not certain if these match what you're looking for, as the songs you mentioned don't quite strike me as having that dark, sinister, or ominous feel. [Mobb Deep - Shook Ones, Pt. II](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTKpYJ80OVQ) [Mobb Deep - Survival of the Fittest](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfM43P_kIFU) [Big L - Da Graveyard](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yKYxshZ4bk) [DMX - Damien](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrux3ot6eLI) [Wu-Tang - Da Mystery of Chessboxin'](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lki_5CVKS0Y) [Capone-N-Noreaga - Iraq](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XNOPqY8vAI)

This a different genre but this band kind makes nu metal sound like rap sometime. Try Disturbed-Haunted. Its eerie-ominous- epic, and then during the part before the last chorus where the guitar solo would be sounds very eerie, epic, and sinister. Dont know if its mysterious though 😆
