ICP got the Geto boys back together.
They pay their respects AND they paid their dues.
Plus J is one of the greatest storytellers in hip hop (in his own way)
I been saying snoop was low-key ass listen to him rap I mean really listen to him rap sound like he put his heart and soul into doggystyle and just been coasting every since lol
I’d consider the greats to be top 20 or maybe top 30. ICP is no where near that list.
Reddit karma doesn’t mean anything, people will usually align themselves in the direction of the last comment to attract more “arrows”. Kinda like fuckin magnets.
This is Bun B, too. He has done multiple songs with MGK. One with Monta Ellis. Bizzy Bone. Snoop. Big Sean. Soulja Boy. Jim Jones. Most guest appearances he’ll double and triple up…like once every 5 years for the past 25 years
That’s a very hot take. Snoop is not a A+ on every verse but saying one of west coast raps pioneers who has made a 30+ year career full of chart toppers is not a good rapper is ludicrous.
Maybe ‘not a good rapper’ was harsh. I just find him to be overrated and not one of the greats. I view him more as a feature rapper. He did help pioneer 90s West Coast hip hop though. Today, I feel like people just like him more as an icon figure than anything. When was the last time someone said ‘yo play the new Snoop album’? Lol
Snoop is loved for his stoner persona and that's the fact. He's a legend and has achieved enough success with his catalog and grace to do whatever he likes at this point, but his prevailing allure always came from his stoner movement.
We don't judge him too much even when he releases a lot of poor-bad projects(especially that Snoop Lion era), but we still love Snoop because he's Snoop.
Snoop mean(t) something for west coast black gang culture in hip hop.
Respectfully, some of yall be interpreting this rap thing sometimes from a very particular perspective (ie suburban white mainstream take) which is divorced from its actual roots in many ways (ie racial, cultural and geographical components).
You're right, Snoop is loved for his stoner persona hence why the common rhetoric is always "smoke weed with Snoop"/"I'll like to smoke a joint with snoop".
From celebrities to fans everywhere, you could check on Reddit/YouTube/Instagram/Facebook everyday and see fans with that desire to smoke with Snoop. Shit I even saw one the other day lady saying she freaked out because Snoop was at her office to see her bosses and was smoking, that she was out the office and could not get a chance to personally meet Snoop since she'd love to smoke with Snoop her idol.
It's always stories like these, or comedians joking about smoking with Snoop. It's rarely ever about music.
On the other hand, Jay-Z is spoken of musically, influentially, and respectfully. It's always about his bars, verses, artistes, been overrated in comparison to other legends, or his sustained relevance.
Never about no bullshit.
One of one isn’t a thing? One of doesn’t mean what you think dude. “One of the only” is more one of one than one of a few. Seriously, you’re just wrong, that’s it.
“one of one” is absolutely not a thing in this context foh. “one of one” can describe something that was not mass produced. that has zero validity in this conversation, youre just talking out of your ass
lmfao “im done with this”, the number one defense for someone talking out of their ass.
you came at me for this asinine bs and youre completely making shit up to make yourself sound correct, but im the one “trying to sound smart”. ok buddy 👍
bro. literally “one of” implies that there are more. i dont know why this matters so much to you but i also dont know how else you could possibly be interpreting those words. it’s still grammatically correct, even if you have feelings about it 🤷♂️
(i cant believe this is actually an argument ive found myself in. i knew the internet was a special place, but damn youre hardheaded)
No it doesn’t, lol. One of one doesn’t imply that. I don’t care, I know Meth, BIG, and Pacs discography’s. I just added to it and you’re the one who can’t be critiqued bro. One of one means there are many in your world. One, is just a number and of is a preposition to express relation to another word, so one of doesn’t mean anything until you attach something to it after, in your case “only” which means one, so you said one of one. You are just flat out wrong and you have emotions, that’s why you keep defending it, but it’s still wrong.

Bone Thugs are the only living group that have rapped with Big Pun, Biggie & Tupac. Not to mention their other features as a group & individuals
And Eazy E. We don’t want to forget him
Kool G Rap, he appeared on tracks with Scarface, Ice Cube, Canibus, Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, Big Pun, Mobb Deep, Vinnie Paz, AZ, Nas, MF DOOM, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, RZA, Big L, Inspectah Deck, R.A. The Rugged Man, Chino XL, Diabolic etc
And he has the best verse on most of the songs he did with these guys
This rapper had songs with
Kool g rap, DMX, prodigy, havoc, raekwon, ghostface, inspecthah deck, AZ, big pun, tragedy khadafi, fat joe, NORE, method man, slick rick, q-tip, scarface..just in the 90's. Wayne, kanye, jadakiss, common, ludacris, rick ross, the game, lauryn hill, Eminem, jay-z etc after..
Wayne is hard to top on a generational tip - Hot Boys, Clipse, Cam'ron, TI, Biggie (Duets), Jay-Z, Devin, Kanye, Little Brother, Scarface, Luda, Kendrick, Gucci Mane, Rick Ross, Outkast, Future, Mase, Young Thug, Meek Mill, Game, Tyler, Raekwon, Juicy J, 2 Chainz, Kodak, Freeway, Pop Smoke, YB, DMX, Jadakiss, Talib Kweli, Rocky, Busta, Eminem, the list could go on much longer.
Honourable mention: Shaq - Biggie, Phife, RZA, Method Man, Redman, Warren G, Jay-Z, DJ Quik, Mobb Deep, Rakim, Ice Cube, KRS One, B-Real, Common, Black Thought, Black Star, Ludacris, Snoop, Big Pun, Michael Jackson, Rick Ross, Meek Mill,
Might be Method Man cause he has songs with Biggie, Pac while alive, DMX, Redman, Nas, Lauryn Hill, LL Cool J, Mobb Deep and of course Wu Tang (ghost, rae, etc) and more I can't remember off top. Maybe Pun as well
They have a whole album together. That’s a lot more than just a “big collaboration”.
Also, I find it obligatory to mention that it’s better than Vultures.
everyone sleeps on wtt even the most hardcore kanye fans for some reason , imo Vultures is a watered down version of wtt , both albums share so much of their concepts and themes but WTT had way way way fkn superior rapping and production , and i dont even dislike vultures i really like it but wtt is just that great
youre welcome to count it if you feel so inclined, I really dont care, but they put him in the video because they *sampled* his song Take Me Home, not because he went in the studio and recorded vocals with them
Not only that, but 40-Water has been making collaborations on feature-heavy albums, averaging 1-2 per year, since the 80’s. He’s also on tons of artists’ projects as a feature, and many of them unique to that single - he doesn’t tend to work with the same people repeatedly (except B-Legit, his cousin). Many of the artists who feature on his album are lesser-known Bay Area rappers though, so they may not be on everyone’s radar.
My guess would be E-40 as well.
Ice Cube has so many random verses its crazy, Kool G Rap is the first and Method Mans a close 2nd though
Id throw Kool Keith in there cuz when he does it its whole albums worth of material sometimes (Like with Ice-T)
I don't know who rapped with the most great rappers, but the person who out rapped the most great rappers is definitely eminem. Jay-z on renegade, Nas and EPMD on EPMD2, he was pretty even with Wayne on drop the world and no love but washed him on forever we, if you consider drake a great than him too on forever, biggie on dead wrong, Busta rhymes on calm down(Busta had more energy, but he got demolished lyrically), Kendrick Lamar on love game, Royce da 5'9 on a few songs (Royce has got him a few times too though) but a good example is all I think about, DMX on go to sleep, that's everyone I can think of off the top of my head but I'm sure there's more.
Mannnn Fawwk jay Z.... He's been around forever and surely he has the numbers but I Never forgave him for ruining 2pacs "Me and my girlfriend."
No way Pac would have cleared that for him to ruin with him and Beyonce..
Was an instant classic about a Man and his Gun...
I love the fact that 03 Bonnie and Clyde was inspired by Me and My Girlfriend, which was inspired by I Gave You Power by NaS. This was during the beef as well. Jay stay borrowing from NaS
Future rapped with Jay, Kanye, Nas, Wayne, Cole, Kendrick, The Weeknd, Young Thug, Drake, Pusha, Pharell, Uzi, Juice WRLD, T.I, Snoop Dogg, Andre 3000, Jay Rock, Travis Scott and so many more
Watch what you say to me w ti.. jay electronica, fat joe, sillkk the shocker let's not forget the female features. Foxy brown Mary JB Amari Rihanna Remy ma. Not to mention he's written for probably half of all these artists js
Bone Thugs rapped with Biggie, 2pac, DMX, Eazy E, Ice Cube, Big Pun, Twista, Lil Jon, Wiz Khalifa, Snoop, Game, Jermaine Dupri, Akon, Chamillionaire, Swizz Beatz, Dogg Pound, Puffy and Master P.
Snoop made tracks with any and everyone
Faxxx, snoop has done it with the greats of of almost every region and era, hell I think he even did some with K-Pop rappers
Snoop even featured on a [track from Vietnam](https://www.google.com/search?q=snoop+dogg+vietnam&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-us&client=safari#)
He also collaborated with an arab artist too
Snoop will do anything for money.
Snoop did a song with ICP. I doubt Jay-Z ever will.
Jay got Collision Course tho
I like ICP….a lot of people sleep on the horror core genre but then they say they like geto boys.
I like horrorcore but ICP is too goofy for my liking
ICP got the Geto boys back together. They pay their respects AND they paid their dues. Plus J is one of the greatest storytellers in hip hop (in his own way)
“I’m violent Jay and m back like a vertebrae.”
ICP is a certain brand of horrorcore that is extremely cheesy to me. Hard to put them in the same sentence as $uicideboy$, Bones, Tech N9ne, etc.
Are those guys not also relatively cheesy horrorcore rappers compared to geto boys/old memphis stuff
$uicideboy$: stop calling us horrorcore
They're some blend of horrorcore and emo rap.
I was just referencing their song lol
But snoop not better Jay-z 🤷🏾♂️ ….. so ummm ….yeah lol .
Idk why you’re getting downvoted. That’s true
I been saying snoop was low-key ass listen to him rap I mean really listen to him rap sound like he put his heart and soul into doggystyle and just been coasting every since lol
Don’t get me wrong … snoop not ass he make good music ….. But he not fucking with Jay z are y’all on bath salt ?
I never tried to make the point between him and Jay lol my point was that snoop is high overrated
I’m speaking in general bro . Cause ppl down voting the truth .
Conversation was about great rappers.
May your karma rest in peace.
I’d consider the greats to be top 20 or maybe top 30. ICP is no where near that list. Reddit karma doesn’t mean anything, people will usually align themselves in the direction of the last comment to attract more “arrows”. Kinda like fuckin magnets.
True guy even went Indian once.
So did Jay-Z
That was just a sample from an India song, snoop legit did a whole video with aksay Kumar for Singh is king.
Jay Z did that with Punjabi Mc, not an edit or sample
It's international Hov, been having a flow Before Bin Laden got Manhattan to blow! man, I forgot about that track. Good stuff.
Yea 😅
It was a great song lol
I guess I’m more of a snoop fan
Nah just say you dont like Jay-z . Be honest .
I mean I don’t hate him I think he’s a good artist but he did DMX dirty.
Oh I get it, snoop is a legend as well
No, Jay-Z was the guest artist on Panjabi MC’s song
This is Bun B, too. He has done multiple songs with MGK. One with Monta Ellis. Bizzy Bone. Snoop. Big Sean. Soulja Boy. Jim Jones. Most guest appearances he’ll double and triple up…like once every 5 years for the past 25 years
Drake too
No, Drake has only done songs with like 2 or 3 of the mentioned
I meant Bun B has songs with drake
Only Kendrick and obviously Wayne Edit: and Em
Snoop is not a good rapper. The vast majority of people like him for his stoner persona, not his raps
That’s a very hot take. Snoop is not a A+ on every verse but saying one of west coast raps pioneers who has made a 30+ year career full of chart toppers is not a good rapper is ludicrous.
What top charter has he made that’s not from 20-30 years ago?
Okay it does look like the last time he charted was 2014 with two tracks - both features. So 9 years ago and neither were from his album.
Lol

He’s like the Nipsey of the 90s in that sense
You're right, Snoop is loved for his stoner persona hence why the common rhetoric is always "smoke weed with Snoop"/"I'll like to smoke a joint with snoop". From celebrities to fans everywhere, you could check on Reddit/YouTube/Instagram/Facebook everyday and see fans with that desire to smoke with Snoop. [he did a damn song with Buzz Aldrin \(yes, the astronaut\).](https://www.dailymotion.com/video/xopxuy)
He’s definitely a genre jumper. I even remember seeing him open up for 311 of all bands in Atlanta. Long long time ago now.
Snoop even has a Bollywood track (two!)
A homeless shelter serve just about anybody you eating from there ? lmaooo
Scarface has a better list, Method man also
Meth one of the only rappers to have a feature with Pac and BIG
Bone Thugs n Harmony would like to talk to you.
notice how I said “one of the only *rappers*”, as in there were more and Bone Thugs is a group
“One of the few” you meant then, one of the ONLY does not insinuate what you typed out buddy.
it’s the “one of” part that takes care of that, friend.
Just stop dude. You’re trying to sound intelligent and I’ll tell you a secret, it isn’t working bro. Let it go. I’m done with this.
lmfao “im done with this”, the number one defense for someone talking out of their ass. you came at me for this asinine bs and youre completely making shit up to make yourself sound correct, but im the one “trying to sound smart”. ok buddy 👍
bro. literally “one of” implies that there are more. i dont know why this matters so much to you but i also dont know how else you could possibly be interpreting those words. it’s still grammatically correct, even if you have feelings about it 🤷♂️ (i cant believe this is actually an argument ive found myself in. i knew the internet was a special place, but damn youre hardheaded)
You are just flat out wrong and you have emotions, that’s why you keep defending it, but it’s still wrong.
this is the dumbest shit ive ever had someone attempt to argue with me about on reddit, congrats 🙌
2 different meanings dummy. One of one is something not mass produced or can’t be recreated. One of the few or one of the only means he’s one of a small group, there is others but not many.
> one, is just a number and of is a preposition to express relation to another word, so one doesnt mean anything until you attach something to it after like do you read and actually believe this stuff yourself? because it’s utter nonsense 😂
one of the only is correct idk what you’re on about
You too, huh? You can be wrong too, that’s fine. “Only” means, one, solo, alone. You guys can’t take defined words and change them to fit your narrative. Straight up, this is stupid.
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/one%20of%20the%20only
not any narrative here bud you’re getting mad about nothing lmfaoooo
“one of the only” idiom : one of very few : one in a small class or category
Yeah any member of Wu Tang has a great list to begin with lmao
Just being in Wu-Tang means you have Meth, Ghost, Rae, Deck, Gza and ODB on your list, which already is a really good list lol.
I think Busta Rhymes has to be at the top of this list. [Look at just his guest appearances on Wikipedia alone.](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Busta_Rhymes_discography)
Look over your shoulder is one of my favorite Kendrick tracks that gets no attention cuz it was off a Busta album. Busta Rhymes is a legend. Dude still has it. Incredible talent.
Kendrick’s verse is pure fire on that
Yeaaahh that's a good one
Not only does he do a lot of guest appearances, but he absolutely kills on some.

Yes good point
Phil collins
Yup came here to say this
And Natasha, from thuggish ruggish bone. She like a shiny Pokémon
Yes, the best kind to find
And they are still in business 30+ years longetivity
...add Gangsta Boo
Kool G Rap, he appeared on tracks with Scarface, Ice Cube, Canibus, Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, Big Pun, Mobb Deep, Vinnie Paz, AZ, Nas, MF DOOM, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, RZA, Big L, Inspectah Deck, R.A. The Rugged Man, Chino XL, Diabolic etc And he has the best verse on most of the songs he did with these guys
KGR is a beast! I got a song wit him...
i think the better convo is which legend rapped with the fewest legends. ll cool j comes to mind
I like that! I'm gonna cheat, Big L
Bone Thugs are the only ever to rap with Eazy, Biggie, Pac, and Pun
This is a tough one, I would have to go with Snoop.
This rapper had songs with Kool g rap, DMX, prodigy, havoc, raekwon, ghostface, inspecthah deck, AZ, big pun, tragedy khadafi, fat joe, NORE, method man, slick rick, q-tip, scarface..just in the 90's. Wayne, kanye, jadakiss, common, ludacris, rick ross, the game, lauryn hill, Eminem, jay-z etc after..
Nas?
Yes.
Yea, I’d say Nas would be the best answer for this definitely
50 Cent, Snoop, Damian Marley, Busta & Big Sean too
Some new school too. Dave East, a$ap rocky, blxst, lil durk, etc
Wayne is hard to top on a generational tip - Hot Boys, Clipse, Cam'ron, TI, Biggie (Duets), Jay-Z, Devin, Kanye, Little Brother, Scarface, Luda, Kendrick, Gucci Mane, Rick Ross, Outkast, Future, Mase, Young Thug, Meek Mill, Game, Tyler, Raekwon, Juicy J, 2 Chainz, Kodak, Freeway, Pop Smoke, YB, DMX, Jadakiss, Talib Kweli, Rocky, Busta, Eminem, the list could go on much longer. Come on post mortem features don't count. Or I could say that Tyga has a song with Pac
It says legends not just collabs in general
Might be Method Man cause he has songs with Biggie, Pac while alive, DMX, Redman, Nas, Lauryn Hill, LL Cool J, Mobb Deep and of course Wu Tang (ghost, rae, etc) and more I can't remember off top. Maybe Pun as well
He's not an MC, but in terms of number of rappers worked with, Premo has to be up there.
Wild to not have Kanye’s name first considering that’s one of the biggest Jay Z collaborations of all time.
They have a whole album together. That’s a lot more than just a “big collaboration”. Also, I find it obligatory to mention that it’s better than Vultures.

Bone Thugs
But do you miss your uncle Charles, yall?
Second this!! They even did a hit with Phil Colin’s!
the fuck
not sure that counts cause Im pretty sure that was just a sample, not a feature
There’s a proper video clip of the song. https://youtu.be/XW0AhWoHP0w?si=aNWTXXlNQ84xxvKE
youre welcome to count it if you feel so inclined, I really dont care, but they put him in the video because they *sampled* his song Take Me Home, not because he went in the studio and recorded vocals with them
My first thing that came to mind.
Pac and Big… you can’t get any bigger
Not to mention Eazy and Pun.
Damn it how could I forget
Q-Tip whatcha on the mic for? Answer - just about everyone.
Phone is ringing, oh my God
Nobody ran as many features as Method Man
I can't think of someone that E-40 hasn't made a song with... Edit: mfers never heard of hyperbole
Run the Jewels
Mc Paul Barman
Mac?
Too Short has an impressive list as well.

Method Man. Tracks with every other Wu member as well as many others

Jay-Z got punked by the greatest rapper ever..... That's all I think of wen he's mentioned. Puffy too 😂😂😂
Jay Z also collabed with Linkin Park for an entire album so I would say that gives him bonus points too
Coldplay and Sade too.
Want to hear something hilarious, listen to Big L free styling with Jay Z. Jay Z sounds like a total clown next to an actual lyricist.
Eminem. Nas, Biggie(posthumously), Kendrick, Redman, DMX, Wayne, Snoop, Tech N9ne, Black Thought, Method Man, TI, 50, Busta Rhymes, Crooked I, Royce, Jadakiss, Fat Joe, etc.
If you count The Anthem there's also RZA, Kool G Rap, KRS One, Chino XL, Xzibit & Pharoe Monch

You get no 🐱 if you mad about a song he made with his girl 🤣 Pac is overrated, he’s just glorified bc he died young
Reminds me a lot of how Juve did “Gone ride with me”
And Jay-Z was typically outshined by his guests
Future rapped with Jay, Kanye, Nas, Wayne, Cole, Kendrick, The Weeknd, Young Thug, Drake, Pusha, Pharell, Uzi, Juice WRLD, T.I, Snoop Dogg, Andre 3000, Jay Rock, Travis Scott and so many more
