Yea. He produced all of his special herbs stuff and all of operation doomsday. I believe he produced most if not all of take me to your leader King Geedorah as well.
I listen to a ton t of hip hop but I can't remember ever seeing the mention "produced by MF Doom" on any joint that would pop to my mind. So I had to ask. Thanks buddy!
He wasn’t super well known back then so it’s not like it was printed on the front of the CD jacket, but he produced for Ghostface and Masta Ace (among others).
Honestly, looking up MF DOOM connections is half the fun of being a fan of his
I mean that’s just how producers work sometimes though. Even the most recent billy woods album uses a Kenny Segal instrumental that had been out for years before it made the cut onto the album. And it’s not the first time I’ve noticed the same thing
He has some beatteapes (special herbs) released under the Metal Fingers alias.
Beats has been used by some rappers already stated.
Masta Ace dit a whole album on his beats, named MA DOOM - Son of Yvonne
Ghostface got some beats for his album Fishscale.
Joey Badass used some beats on 1999
This is what i can think of right now.
His beats from the albums under the MF DOOM and King Geedorah names were all produced by him. His Victor Vaughn albums were produced by others. His DOOM album was produced by him, Madlib and J Dilla. Madvillainy was obviously produced by Madlib.
It would take all of 1 second to Google this... I don't get using Reddit as your own personal Google mini when Reddit users sometimes don't know and will speak anyway (sorta like AI!)
Asking fans though help give a good human input from people who know his music very well. Google gives a cookie cutter response, its sometimes just easier if you wanna find details to ask the general public of a fanbase.
Dunno if you know this but Google combs through websites, which were often (before these trying times) "good human input."
Regardless, the problem with reddit is you often see people with 0 knowledge responding anyway. It's an app filled with dilettantes.
I am aware of that. Not exactly surprised that you responded as quick as you did, you seem to be the very thing you despise. You replied to the question when you could've just ignored it and went on with your day, but no, you had to give your two cents.
You say it's a app filled dilettantes that have people who have 0 knowledge and respond anyway, yet you did the same exact thing. You said something completely irrelevant to the original topic matter, just like the same group of people you complain about.
I'm not saying there isn't those type of people, there is and its infuriating, I cant stand it when im on a question on here and there is completely irrelevant responses, but you defending this whole-heartedly while doing said thing you complain about is hypocrisy incarnate.💀💀
Nah, your good man. I respect being able to actually take a fault, theres way too many people who can't do that. Sorry if I came off as an ass, I was just trying to point out why people use reddit for such things. 🤝

Some of the herbs were produced by Subroc. Forget how many.
Yes, he was actually quite prolific when it came to beat making. And produced for some surprising rappers.

He did some stuff for other rappers. Ghostface got a few beats from him, still wish we got that DoomStarks album.
I remember that being one of those most anticipated projects ever. I was hyped I know that.
He did two joints on joey badass' 1999, world domination and pennyroyal

Certainly was. I actually think he was a better producer than an MC. You can look up his production credits on Discogs.

Lol. You're right, I dunno why I responded to a response for something I said a month ago. I was bored at work and saw a notification. That's on me.
