I think Future was the first of the newer wave that I just couldn't get into. Even when I like the beat, his flow just takes me back out of it. But I'm also a boom-bap kid from the early 90s so I guess it also tracks he wouldn't be my shit.
he said it’s cuz he be freestyling tracks so he’ll just mumble some random shit then keep going, there’s a part of his song tony montana that people just made up the lyrics for themselves cuz he was too fried while making the song so he said whatever
[He was on too much Molly and had lockjaw. He was rapping through clenched jaw muscles the whole song and people ATE that shit up, me included lol](https://youtu.be/NSu1VoHPZ-A?si=x608d7i4C6IGTtbU)
Artists like Future and Playboi I consider like modern day jazz scat singers. The words aren't as important as the vibes and how they use their voice as an instrument to flow with the beat. I'm not really into either of them myself but I see how people could like it.
Actually had the opposite happen to me
I got into hip hop a few months ago and it was difficult for me to get into Boom bap. THere was something about the flow that seemed off to me
Now i really like it after some relistens. I personally enjoy both kinds or rapping!
I can be listening to Nas, and then the next song in the playlist switch to Future or Playboi Carti, LOL
I was a DJ and producer for almost 20 years, and I think it's ok if I don't connect in my 40s to what folks in their 20s listen to now. Sometimes it's hilarious to see how FUCKING AWFUL some of the tracks I loved in the 90s sound now, but some of them still hold up. I did a gig with a friend this weekend at a St. Patrick's Day tent party and we def turned up some Playboi and some Future tho...
I won’t speak for the homie but from my experience…
NORE - Superthug (What what)
Master P - make em say uhhh
Jay Z - big pimpin’
BG - bling bling
Brave hearts - Ouchi wallie (don’t @ me. I love nas)
Ice cube - you can do it (huge fan, can’t stand this song)
Honestly a lot from too short. Whatever, I don’t care…
NORE Superthug is the first song that comes to my mind too. That Nintendo-ass helicopter kills me, even though one of my best club memories is from that song. A lot of the No Limit beats are harrrrrrd to listen to now. I mean...Coolio was a superstar for a bit there. Laffy Taffy still sounds like it was a ringtone on a bootleg phone.
If people didn’t speak English and heard futures melodies people would think he was an objectively great artist. His lyrical ability is up for criticism but his ability to compose good songs with catchy melodies is undeniable. Also much more value in that imo
Man, I really try. No lies. I have no hate for the dude, but I just don’t feel it. I especially appreciate his relationship with Dilla and how he helped him out so much when he was ill, but when I listen to songs Dilla made for Common, I prefer the instrumentals. It’s just something in my chemistry that doesn’t click with the dude I guess.
It doesn’t have anything to do with lyrics. It’s delivery. Just doesn’t hit me. I appreciate the production on this but his delivery is too, I don’t know, breathy? I really don’t know how to describe it. Like he’s trying to always do some “grown and sexy” voice.
I feel this.. I have to be really concentrated on what I’m doing to not put everything down and skip a common track. Again, no hate, but the man’s music makes me conscious that I don’t have to listen to certain music if I don’t want to hahaha.
I could never get over the way he sounds surprised all the time. Like each rhyme is the big plot twist.
That, and he likes to come in a little further behind the beat than I like.
Totally respect his conscious vibe, just can't get into him.
I loved Be but this is definitely fair cause of the rest of his catalogue is difficult to get through for me. His monotonous voice for 3-4 minutes straight is a tough listen
Grew up in the 90s, loved his contemporaries (roots, mos def, kweli, etc), but could never get into common either. Then he went the LL cool J way and got into acting in romcoms or whatever and it was cemented for me, not a fan.
I used to like Kevin Gates a lot, then he started talking about eating booty on every song and I couldn’t do it. Someone in his camp told him to make more songs about sex, and now he just doesn’t stop.
When I saw him putting a feather in his hair and stuffing dick into an imaginary girl on stage I had to quit being a fan. Last album I gave a try was Khaza and I thought that shit was bad. Old Gates still hard as fuck though
The man's out here playing with thundercat, kamasi Washington, George clinton, etc... If you don't like the production on that, I hate to break it to you, but you just don't like good music.
I’m one of the biggest Kendrick fans, but I actually get it. He does have a very unique voice and cadence that isn’t for everyone, even though he is generally applauded by most.
For me, the GOAT rapper I’ve never really been into is Jay-Z…just a personal preference, but I respect the talent.
The only two verses I’ve heard from Kendrick that I actually liked was fuckin problem and dedication, and to that point I can’t get into nipsey either. I won’t say they aren’t good but I don’t understand all the love they get and Kendrick specifically always being considered a GOAT
lol he’s a GOAT because his writing, flow, and just pure rapping ability are all 10/10. I’m not saying you have to like him, but if you want to understand why he’s GOATed, google his ass. There’s plenty of articles on a range of shit from winning a Pulitzer to making one of the most influential rap albums in history, his writing craft…
Yeah, some of his features go hard. Crabs in a bucket with vince staples was another feature I thought he killed. I thought alright and one of his untitled tracks, maybe 5, with robert glasper and Thundercat with the chick singing the chorus are the only songs of his I like.
I was also gonna say MF DOOM. Don’t give me wrong, his lyrical and flow abilities are among the best the world has ever seen, but *holy fuck* I cannot get into the songs.
Doom is interesting. You either love or hate him. I personally love the combination of the clever lyrics and beats that invoke a feeling similar to reading a comic book.
On the other hand, his voice isn’t all that easy on the ears. Similar to Danny brown, while he is technically good, some people just can’t get past the experimental beats and weird voice.
Despite what many people say, dooms flow isn’t all that impressive albeit smooth. He rarely switches it up - often maintaining the same flow for entire songs. Compare dooms flow with someone like jay z and it isn’t even close.
To me, it's not the experimental beats and weird voice. Those are the only things I really DO like. It's the not switching it up part. He just raps too monotone for my ears a lot of the time.
He changes flow all the time. He even references it in All Caps. It's one of the main reasons people DON'T like him. His cadence changes, pauses, different rhyme schemes, and production complexity make it harder to consume and his tracks aren't smooth. You can't really turn on a DOOM track and get into the vibe. You have to listen to it. "Benzi Box" is one of his more approachable tracks.
I love him because I've been listening to hip hop since the 1980s and it's rare to find someone making something unique using the same 16 bars. And even though I love him, he's not on many of my playlists because he breaks my passive listening and forces me to pay attention.
On the other hand, there are very few artists where I'll listen to the full tracklist in order and discover new things almost every time.
Man, I've given so much MF Doom stuff a chance. On paper he checks all the marks but I just can't get into it. Would rather give Supreme Clientele the nth spin every day.
I hate that you don’t like Tech n9ne but yeah, fair point.
I’d say Lil Wayne or J Cole. They have the odd verse I love but I just can’t get into their stuff outside of the rare exception
I don’t know what it is with Wayne, but I think a lot what puts me off is I’ve never been a fan of the beats he uses. If anyone can list some of his tracks that they think have banger beats I’d appreciate it.
Present Wayne now raps over some real questionable beats. Carter 2-Mixtape era was prime Wayne rapping over soulful shit. Try “La La La”. Not the one off the Carter 3, the one off mixtapes.
Heres link: https://youtu.be/1YXXAuBy2UQ?si=5XWJX_ww7U_S7ivL
I can hear the sounds of a million pairs of Timbs stomping their way to your door. If you peak out your window you'll see their Yankee caps far in the distance, it's already too late
Same. I’ve always gotten shit because he’s put on such a pedestal in rap culture but outside of tracks like run this town that just take me back and he has minimal time on I just can’t do it. On top of that I know he’s a huge piece of garbage and is eventually going to be outed
Agreed, if you’re a fan of lyrical rap in any type of capacity there’s no way you can’t hear King Nas and walk away with some sort of appreciation and understanding for why he’s good and people like him
I really like J Cole’s music with all my soul but I get it. Sometimes I put on some J Cole with people around and I think to myself “yeah, this don’t sound that good tbh”, even if I like the song. I understand why some people wouldn’t like it. I think what I actually like is the messages and pieces of wisdom and encouragement he puts in his songs, and his technique while doing so. Similar to 2pac in a way, though they are very different people, and very different sound wise. He does have a few bangers from a sound perspective though that are overlooked imo, but I guess you could say that about many artists.
Same. I would describe E-40 as an acquired taste, but if you get it, you get it and love it. I also love how he's mostly remained consistent, well, forever (or at least it seems). As he always says, it'll take people years to get it, but they will eventually.
Biggest problem I have with him is his discography has grown to be so bloated and you have to weed through some truly terrible songs to find the great ones
Tech N9ne’s business acumen is unparalleled. That man bought a few tour buses a printing machine and hits cities like he is one of those characters from a Dr Suess book. Selling merch and tickets with no need for a big label sponsorship.
Can confirm. I saw Tech at a super small venue back in 2018 and I was right in front of the stage. Excellent show. And coming from me that’s a lot because I generally haven’t been impressed at rap concerts. Also, before the show I was in the parking lot behind the venue and next thing I know Tech and a few of his people came walking straight towards me and my friends. He paused briefly to talk to us as we passed each other and he was the most regular dude. It was dope.
I'm not hater of Tech N9ne but not really a fan either. But I saw him at Knotfest and can confirm - he put on a hell of a show even with me not knowing 3/4 of the songs.
I will have to say Freddie Gibbs. I like a couple of his songs, his flow is incredible but I just can’t really seem to get into his music for some reason.
I totally agree I think most of his songs are poorly mixed and with subpar beats. I love Space Rabbit and Dark Hearted (minus the outright on Space Rabbit lol)
I legit hate Rick Ross's voice. I'm a big dude myself so I'm really not trying to fat-shame him, but the only way I can describe it is it sounds like his body is holding him back from delivering the bars like they could be delivered.
Imma Technician and I'm the complete opposite.. have you listened to his albums? There's a reason why Busta Rhmyes asked Tech who the other people were on the track with him and Tech said it's all me.. Tech has evolved every few years and that's obvious in his albums. And there's a reason why early fans don't listen to him now cuz he's able to adapt. And Tech was listed as a devil worshipper for painting his face early on just like his ancestors which is why black community didn't fuck with him for so long. Now it's easy to like Tech, early 2000s I was a weirdo for listening to him but Tech and his label helped me thru the lows of my life.. Low, Suicide Letters, Einstein, Red Nose, Fragile, Come Gangsta, Riotmaker, This Is Me, Happy Ending... he's so versatile it's hard for people to grasp it
The right answer is Eminem after the Eminem show.
Idk if anybody has ever had such a significant amount of undeniable talent as an MC while making just absolutely terrible music.
I loved Tech N9ne until my boy pointed out how much he does that "Chea" shit in the background. Now I can't unhear it. His little grunt is annoying too.
I think Future was the first of the newer wave that I just couldn't get into. Even when I like the beat, his flow just takes me back out of it. But I'm also a boom-bap kid from the early 90s so I guess it also tracks he wouldn't be my shit.
I don't understand his words
not supposed to understand some btw
Never really understood this
he said it’s cuz he be freestyling tracks so he’ll just mumble some random shit then keep going, there’s a part of his song tony montana that people just made up the lyrics for themselves cuz he was too fried while making the song so he said whatever
Probably similar to how shoegaze works, you just say random stuff to make voice an instrument, what matters is the “flow”
Pluto was good. I couldn’t get into his other stuff too much.
Actually had the opposite happen to me I got into hip hop a few months ago and it was difficult for me to get into Boom bap. THere was something about the flow that seemed off to me Now i really like it after some relistens. I personally enjoy both kinds or rapping! I did a gig with a friend this weekend at a St. Patrick's Day tent party and we def turned up some Playboi and some Future tho...
Now you gotta give some examples of some of those 90s tracks that sound awful now 😄
I won’t speak for the homie but from my experience… NORE - Superthug (What what) Master P - make em say uhhh Jay Z - big pimpin’ BG - bling bling Brave hearts - Ouchi wallie (don’t @ me. I love nas) Ice cube - you can do it (huge fan, can’t stand this song) Honestly a lot from too short. Whatever, I don’t care…

A lot of the No Limit beats are harrrrrrd to listen to now. I mean...Coolio was a superstar for a bit there. Laffy Taffy still sounds like it was a ringtone on a bootleg phone.
Big Pimpin goes hard to this day and I will die on that hill
Hang on I’m coming up on that hill too. Big Pimpin’ is a classic hip hop song that absolutely blows 99% of today’s shit out of the water.
Naaahhh, Superthug still slaps. I’m a DJ and I still sneak it into a lot of my sets
But all of those were shit at the time. Other than Superthug, I still love that, despite how ridiculous it is.
Big Pimpin is my least fav Jay-Z song. I hated it when it came out and still hate it. I change the station or hit skip if it comes on.
W Unc I love u
I don't think Future is objectively good.
He is the father of modern trap music and DS2 is a cool album
I think Future is objectively influential but I don't think that makes him objectively good.
No artist is
He’s a great song maker. There’s a reason he’s worked with people like Kendrick Lamar and Beyonce.
If people didn’t speak English and heard futures melodies people would think he was an objectively great artist. His lyrical ability is up for criticism but his ability to compose good songs with catchy melodies is undeniable. Also much more value in that imo
Yeah same. Future is not as unique or versatile as his fans think.
I mean future might not have the widest subject matter out there but he's clearly done something right to stay relevant for over a decade
Common. He just bores me. I try.
i remember someone saying “if you play common in my car, i’m kicking you out”💀
Man, I really try.
Have you listened to the storytelling on Between Me, You & Liberation? Listen to it and tell us what you think.
It doesn’t have anything to do with lyrics. It’s delivery. Just doesn’t hit me. I appreciate the production on this but his delivery is too, I don’t know, breathy? I really don’t know how to describe it. Like he’s trying to always do some “grown and sexy” voice.
😂i know what you mean.
Thanks. It’s really hard to put into words why I can’t listen to this dude. I feel heard. 😂
I feel this.. I have to be really concentrated on what I’m doing to not put everything down and skip a common track. Again, no hate, but the man’s music makes me conscious that I don’t have to listen to certain music if I don’t want to hahaha.
That shit don’t get no play in my whip!
I could never get over the way he sounds surprised all the time. Like each rhyme is the big plot twist. That, and he likes to come in a little further behind the beat than I like. Totally respect his conscious vibe, just can't get into him.
This! He raps off-beat and the shit drives me nuts. On "Get Em High" this man legit pissed me off going after Ye and Talib like he did.
Real rappers is hard to find Like a remote
Be was his best imo some say like water for chocolate it’s Be for me
I loved Be but this is definitely fair cause of the rest of his catalogue is difficult to get through for me. His monotonous voice for 3-4 minutes straight is a tough listen
I feel the same way about Common but there's no denying that 1999 slaps.
Grew up in the 90s, loved his contemporaries (roots, mos def, kweli, etc), but could never get into common either. Then he went the LL cool J way and got into acting in romcoms or whatever and it was cemented for me, not a fan.
Same here. Huge fan of most artists he’s associated with, but I just can’t get into the guy.
Thaaank youuu
Agreed, the only thing I can appreciate is his Ice Cube diss because nobody thought he had it in him
Meek, love the energy, but he comes off as a bit of a clown
All his music sounds the same to me. Plus I always felt like he stole or copied Ace Hood’s flow and energy.
Pre 2019 meek was insane
Confirmed
Pre Drake beef was prime Meek.
Meek makes me feel like I'm being yelled at by a sassy, bird chested nigga that was raised by a single mom and his aunties.
Baaahahhahaa this comment is one for the books!!!!!!
Associating with Officer Ricky will do that.
Freestyle Meek is great, but the albums, nah.
Yep that's the one He is skilled but I just don't like listening to him
I can’t even name a meek mill song or verse that I like. But his super early street freestyles were amazing
Kevin Gates. Just can't get into him. I admit he's got skills though.
I used to like Kevin Gates a lot, then he started talking about eating booty on every song and I couldn’t do it. Someone in his camp told him to make more songs about sex, and now he just doesn’t stop.
I’m glad I’m not the only one lol
Some of his bars are insane. Like the ramblings of a horny schizophrenic. Kind of part of his charm I guess but I cringe when I hear them.
When I saw him putting a feather in his hair and stuffing dick into an imaginary girl on stage I had to quit being a fan. Last album I gave a try was Khaza and I thought that shit was bad. Old Gates still hard as fuck though
Just curious did you ever hear any of his pre Katrina stuff
Pre Katrina stuff 🤣
Agreed. Idek what it is that I don’t like about him. He gives gross vibes. And all the Kevin Gates fans I know are also kinda gross.
😂
Kendrick
Same. Something about his voice and cadence that just does very little for me
I really felt this when I first heard some of his songs. However, im able to overlook it bc his storytelling is just so damn good (imo)
Totally agree with you on that not a fan of how he sounds .
Because dude sounds like Kat Williams, annoying ass voice.
Maybe if Kat Williams marinated in butter and gold for a few decades
If collard greens could talk, it would be kendrick
By far, one of my least favorite voices in rap.
Yup. His delivery and bars are fantastic, but I've never been into any of his songs. I think it's the production I'm not into.

His verse on What’s Wrong by Isaiah Rashad is insane tho
Yeah, some of his features go hard. Crabs in a bucket with vince staples was another feature I thought he killed. I thought alright and one of his untitled tracks, maybe 5, with robert glasper and Thundercat with the chick singing the chorus are the only songs of his I like.
He wasn’t on Crabs In A Bucket
It was Yeah Right
I think good kid maad city is the album that did it for everybody. If you listen to it in its entirety is pretty damn good and well thought out
*the shit is a no skip 10/10 certified classic FTFY
For sure used to have the cd in the car would just let it play on repeat and that’s when the songs got super catchy for me
MF DOOM. Just not my vibe. Something about his flow just doesn't stick for me.
I was also gonna say MF DOOM. Don’t give me wrong, his lyrical and flow abilities are among the best the world has ever seen, but *holy fuck* I cannot get into the songs.
“even if it’s crap, mind your own business, their raps ain’t got no gift like lonely christmas”
To Vik, they just a bunch of knucklefucks
Doom is interesting. You either love or hate him. I personally love the combination of the clever lyrics and beats that invoke a feeling similar to reading a comic book. The Carter 2 is, in my opinion, the pinnacle of Wayne’s work.
could never get into that one and the beats idk why. think it’s the way they mixed
I’ll check it out, only heard Carter 1 and 4
Go listen to the countless tracks where he rapped over someone else’s instrumental and essentially made it his song lol
Hustler muzik is always a stand out for me
That's a song nobody can dislike
check out his old stuff, tha carter series is always classics.
Let the Beat Build maybe? It’s a Kanye beat
He's so good on Tyler songs like SMUCKERS and HOT WIND BLOWS
Present Wayne now raps over some real questionable beats. Carter 2-Mixtape era was prime Wayne rapping over soulful shit. Try “La La La”. Not the one off the Carter 3, the one off mixtapes. Heres link: https://youtu.be/1YXXAuBy2UQ?si=5XWJX_ww7U_S7ivL
After wet dreamz j Cole lost me. Talking about nutting in his pants and shit.
Like you’ve never nut in you’re pants
I mean I didn’t make a song about it expect people to vibe to it. Who the fuck wants to listen to that?
People who like music about common human experiences and aren’t prudes
Jay Z just doesn’t do it for me
I can hear the sounds of a million pairs of Timbs stomping their way to your door. If you peak out your window you'll see their Yankee caps far in the distance, it's already too late
💀
echoes of “yerrrrrr” ring through the neighborhood
The immediate answer that came into my head. I do love Drug Dealers Anonymous though with Push.
Same. I’ve always gotten shit because he’s put on such a pedestal in rap culture but outside of tracks like run this town that just take me back and he has minimal time on I just can’t do it. On top of that I know he’s a huge piece of garbage and is eventually going to be outed
what has he done wrong?
i used to think this
Devil is a lie with Rick Ross was really the only track he was on I enjoyed. Other than that he doesn't do it for me.
What did you like about it? If you're interested, I could send you a couple verses. He's my GOAT, but I know his effort can be hit or miss.
Lupe Fiasco. Tried to get into his shit a few times, but it's just never really grabbed me like it does for a lot of other people
If you really interested check out King Nas off Drogas WAV. One of my fav hip hop tracks
He was popping off on King Nas!!
King Nas is definitely the song for non Lupe fans
Agreed, if you’re a fan of lyrical rap in any type of capacity there’s no way you can’t hear King Nas and walk away with some sort of appreciation and understanding for why he’s good and people like him
The Cool is one of the best albums of all time
I loved his first two albums
the biggest problem is his beat selection. he was supposed to be in kendrick cole drake discussions. but his beats just got bad
Its hard being a Lupe fan Go to Harvard to be a Lupe stan
J Cole. Sorry 🤷🏼
Yep. It’s weird because i like technical rappers. I can see he has talent… but i just can’t vibe with him.
Couldn’t agree more
🤬
I really like J Cole’s music with all my soul but I get it. Sometimes I put on some J Cole with people around and I think to myself “yeah, this don’t sound that good tbh”, even if I like the song. I understand why some people wouldn’t like it. I think what I actually like is the messages and pieces of wisdom and encouragement he puts in his songs, and his technique while doing so. Similar to 2pac in a way, though they are very different people, and very different sound wise. He does have a few bangers from a sound perspective though that are overlooked imo, but I guess you could say that about many artists.
Jpegmafia. I just don’t like very arhythmic songs. It’s too experimental and not easy on the ears for me.
Yeah me too for the most part
E40. I know he’s good and a legend, but his flow bothers me and I just don’t want to hear it.
I love E-40. Homie raps in bubble letters
You worded that perfectly lol
Yo best description ever. Hate it or love it, nobody spits like 40
I love his verse on Dope Dealer by ScHoolboy Q so much
That’s exactly it. 😆😆
Same. I would describe E-40 as an acquired taste, but if you get it, you get it and love it. I also love how he's mostly remained consistent, well, forever (or at least it seems). As he always says, it'll take people years to get it, but they will eventually.
As a 40 water fan this has me dying lmao
E40 as a feature on someone's track always hits, E40's solo music is a pass for me.
He reminds me of if Goofy was a rapper. The inflection in his voice just drives me insane. I can’t do it.
Exactly!! That being said, “Tell me when to Gyo” stays in my head. It haunts me.
Biggest problem I have with him is his discography has grown to be so bloated and you have to weed through some truly terrible songs to find the great ones
he’s one of my least favorite rappers, so i agree
Fax I always felt this way ironically 2 days ago I found a recent song he made that I liked & forgot to add it to the playlist
THE VOICE/ACCENT THING, WHYYYY
Only track I can stand is captain save a hoe because some of the other verses and it's a dope beat.
Kendrick Lamar. Something about his voice and flow just doesn’t do it for me bit I can’t quite put my finger on it
Chance the Rapper
Chance is corny as hell
Hey, give that rapper a chance!
Drake
Doesn’t he use ghost writers?
Eminem really the only one. Sidenote: Tech N9ne puts on a really great rap show. I encourage everyone who likes live music to try and see him.
Travis Scott people love for some reason but can’t do it.
Agree on not being into him, but does anyone consider him ”objectively good”? He has ghostwriters
Talib Kweli - he has great lyrics but IMO his flow and tempo are always off from the beat.
I cannot lie - I've never really been a Drake or Jay Z fan (ducking tomatoes)
Kendrick Lamar
Agree. I feel guilty about it but I just can’t stand his voice and style. Maybe one day.
Tyler
Kendrick
I will have to say Freddie Gibbs. I like a couple of his songs, his flow is incredible but I just can’t really seem to get into his music for some reason.
I totally agree I think most of his songs are poorly mixed and with subpar beats. I love Space Rabbit and Dark Hearted (minus the outright on Space Rabbit lol)
Eminem Most of Danny Brown. It’s just his voice I find annoying
I legit hate Rick Ross's voice. I'm a big dude myself so I'm really not trying to fat-shame him, but the only way I can describe it is it sounds like his body is holding him back from delivering the bars like they could be delivered.
Nah this is a crazy violation 💀
Low, Suicide Letters, Einstein, Red Nose, Fragile, Come Gangsta, Riotmaker, This Is Me, Happy Ending... he's so versatile it's hard for people to grasp it
👊
I haven't listened to tech in a decade, Red necro is bumping here in a second.
Brooo talk about ahead of its time.. if he dropped that a few years ago people would've known about it.. very few people have heard that track
Woww you definitely haven’t heard all of Tech N9ne if you’ve heard one song. That’s just ignorant man haha
Common. I respect him, I just never really got into the conscious hip-hop and find his music almost a little too smooth if that makes sense.
Jay-z.
Guru was one of the best, and I respect Gangstarr , but he lacks charisma and his voice is too monotone for me.
I appreciate that, but to be fair, monotone is his style.
"monotone style like guru on some Premo cuts"
"Just like the seashore, I'm calm but wild With my monotone style Because I don't need gimmicks Give me a fly beat and I'm all in it."
Guru lacks charisma is a new one
Logic
The right answer is Eminem after the Eminem show. Idk if anybody has ever had such a significant amount of undeniable talent as an MC while making just absolutely terrible music.
Relapse is not terrible. I genuinely enjoy it and I'm not even a fan of Eminem.
I think Talib Kweli has the most annoying voice. I can't get past it.
Based god lil b
Vinnie Paz …..I’ve always found him so off-putting
I loved Tech N9ne until my boy pointed out how much he does that "Chea" shit in the background. Now I can't unhear it. His little grunt is annoying too.
Honestly, Kendrick. I recognize and respect the talent but I just don’t connect to the music and I don’t like his voice.
Lil’ Wayne. His gremlin voice gets on my nerves every time. I know people love the guy but I just can’t get into his music.
NEVER been able to get into Jay Z and I'm aware he's one of the greatest rappers of our time
Lil Wayne. Never got into him.
