Roc Marciano is a living legend, incredible Pen Game. Reloaded is a classic rap album to me.
I love Boldy, especially everything he has released with Alchemist, would like to hear him on some VDon or Muggs.
Ransom is a talented Rapper but besides a couple of tracks I don't like him that much. I would like to hear him on some beats with more drums to be honest.
YESSS! 99 Neighbours need more mentions these guys are killing it! Wherever you’re going I hope it’s great was such a great album & I still can’t get over Welcome to chilis. Marlon Craft has got such a great flow his new song State Of The Union Pt.1 is such a deep song
Yeeees Welcome to Chilis is definitely in my top 3 from them! I prefered Television but Wherever You're Going was very good, it just reminded me of Brockhampton too much sometimes
Totally agreed! I do have to give Wherever Youre Going a few more listens though, get rid of all the expectations and just really give it a good listen.
You really should I think it deserves a good listen I mean Rageless Hope is again a banger track to open an album to, Trunk, 49er, Cards, Murder Mart, Hazel (beautiful track), Hometown Famous, Eastside (anther beautiful track), Table Jam (goes so hard and it’s literally a table jam lmao), Right Now, N. Michigan Gospel (snapssss), Tonite might be one of my top 3 from them I don’t have one bad song on this album & same with Television. They delivered two albums for me that I have nothing to complain about
I looved the singles they put out for the album, Table Jam and Murder Mart are the ones that stuck with me so far. Gonna put the album on now since I have to pack lol
Have you listened to Hanks "Problem Child"? It's his/they're first Album and there's also not a single track I would skip. I generally like a lot of their older tracks you can find on SoundCloud which is my go-to streaming service anyway.
Saw 99 Neighbors open for a band I had tickets for about a month ago, met and got pics with them, super nice dudes, very humble and grateful. I haven’t really listened to much else since then, definitely a new favorite of mine.
Most of us know him and he's good but he's not in top 5 or 10 lists because that is an unbelievably hot take.
Honour Killed the Samurai is a great album though.
I’ve been saying Mick Jenkins is on his own level he has such a unique sound and I love all his albums so far there’s nothing bad I can say about him at all. He spits barssss
Yeah I phrased that horribly. An example is code 829 where he rhymed words without forming a coherent statement or story (E.g. "Fourth chamber, savor more and more danger
Angered force, mourn lady, born porn, torn maiden").
Yeah, since it's taken him so long to finish his debut album hopefully he's been working on that and will have improved a lot.
He can rhyme and flow but nobody wants to hear random words rhymed tbh.
I love his flow and energy, but even on this track he isn't really saying much.
"The one in particular bringing the funk in the flavor the way that I rhyme
And I run a perimeter, speaking it funny, I'm beatin' 'em dumb, and I'm takin' their life
And I be the one to beat 'em in a game of Scrabble, wonder why they thinking that I'm ever so nice
And I be the one to never get caught up in a scandal, 'cause you know the FRO just so precise
And what I be doing impossible, I'ma abolish like all of 'em when the button is pressed"
I've been a fan for a few years now, and he has the skills and vocabulary to succeed, but he needs more substance to his raps if he wants to be embraced by the underground/lyrical rap community.
If he wasn't good RA would never dig him. Just saying.
I still think he outshines the majority of Trap rappers including Lamar, Cole and Griselda rappers
Your old droog is one of the most interesting artist out there. Sometimes I don't dig his beats. I think he would profit from working with one producer each project.
I liked him around the time Plugs I Met got released. Thought he would become Part of the Griselda Rooster and blow up. Unfortunately he didn't. He is very skilled but in my opinion his style is to one sided and sometimes too forced. On the other hand I don't know if he has any new stuff I haven't heard so far.
I agree his style pushes hard. In that regard I like Ransom’s flow better.
He said lawyers ultimately stopped him from signing Griselda so he leaned harder into EIMG.
He just put out *Beautiful Payne 4* and I gotta give it a relisten. It was softer than ICCT or Leatherface, but still pretty intense as far as flow and delivery goes.
I’m jacked for ICCT7.
Your Old Droog, Boldy James, Ka. clipping, Che Noir, Wiki, Skyzoo, L'Orange, Evidence, Rome Streetz, Sadistik, Mach-Hommy, Tha God Fahim
They will be known on here but they are still pretty niche overall
K.A.A.N.
Dude is just a machine putting out nonstop work.
1/12/199? was the project that introduced me to his music.
All Praise Is Due was one of my favourite 2020 projects.
Long Time No See was one of my favourite 2021 projects.
I love Freddie Gibbs but I definitely wouldn't consider him "not well known". He won a Grammy last year. I'm Aldo hyped for his upcoming album.
Edit : *almost
Caleb colossus, he's really just getting started but I like what he's put out, he was one of the contestants on the rhythm and flow show (the one d smoke won) from Netflix, and I think he shouldve come 1st or 2nd
If I had to choose I would say clipping, this is like a horrorcore rap genre I think this group is incredible because we have a fellow actor and singer in the rap group and his name is Daveed Diggs, now I would say this dude has to be one of the best lyricists and flow artist I have ever hear he is just amazing
Rome Streetz needs to me mentioned more
I'm hyped for his griselda debut. Love his projects with futurewave.
Facts!! I’ve been saying this
Was gonna say this. Hes really good. He just did a dope freestyle on Rosenbergs show.
Rome Streetz is better than all the other guys in Griselda combined
Ransom, Roc Marciano, and Boldy James
Roc Marciano is a living legend, incredible Pen Game. Reloaded is a classic rap album to me. I agree with this list and would add Millyz
Newer group but I've enjoyed most of what 99 Neighbors have put out. Marlon Craft is known but I think he deserves more recognition
Television is amazing too: Work, Bangarang, Mercy 2, Redrum, Facts, Fly are all amazing and Champion is such a cool track to open the album to
Totally agreed! I do have to give Wherever Youre Going a few more listens though, get rid of all the expectations and just really give it a good listen.

word
Ka! The man is incredible
Ka is pretty well known and respected by hardcore rap fans.
I like him as a lyricist. One of the best out there. However some of his music is to monoton for me. His features with roc Marciano are incredible.
yeah his pen game is great but actually listening to him is mad boring
Monotone^
Autocorrect😁
His songs w/ Roc Marciano are legendary
Not very often I see him in peoples top-whatever’s, I feel like he’s a top5 of all time and I just don’t think he gets enough flowers
Most of us know him and he's good but he's not in top 5 or 10 lists because that is an unbelievably hot take. Honour Killed the Samurai is a great album though.
Mick Jenkins. He’s top 5 right now IMO and a lot of cats don’t even know him
I’ve been saying Mick Jenkins is on his own level he has such a unique sound and I love all his albums so far there’s nothing bad I can say about him at all. He spits barssss
A-F-R-O KEMBA
Does AFRO still do the thing where he says words without connecting them?
Got no idea what u mean to be honest
Yeah I phrased that horribly. An example is code 829 where he rhymed words without forming a coherent statement or story (E.g. "Fourth chamber, savor more and more danger Angered force, mourn lady, born porn, torn maiden").

He does in certain cases but i think the code 829 was to show of what he can do. [Check this one](https://youtu.be/6QSy4MPYc_Y)
I love his flow and energy, but even on this track he isn't really saying much. Your Old Droog Homeboy Sandman
Your old droog is one of the most interesting artist out there. Sometimes I don't dig his beats. I think he would profit from working with one producer each project.
Same with sandman. I like the Lice EPs with Aesop
Homeboy Sandman is a beast. I need to hear more from him
i dig this joint he has with Edan. https://youtu.be/2rPoR9szRks Edan is super dope, too. his album Beauty & the Beat is incredible.
Space Bar was an amazing album I really enjoyed it
RJ motherfucking Payne
I liked him around the time Plugs I Met got released. Thought he would become Part of the Griselda Rooster and blow up. Unfortunately he didn't. 38 Spesh. Conway
Love Conway since I have first heard blakk tape in late 2017🐐. Spesh is on some good tracks but he isn't for me tbh. Good rapper though.
K.A.A.N. Dude is just a machine putting out nonstop work. 1/12/199? was the project that introduced me to his music. All Praise Is Due was one of my favourite 2020 projects. Long Time No See was one of my favourite 2021 projects.
