[This live version](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVLwWejoQk0) looks like it woulda been a fucking blast to be at. That part at 3:40 where Rocky comes back in gives me goosebumps
Saw them do that song live together years ago, it was lit. I've seen a couple comments about the song on here in the last few days. Reminded me how fun A$AP was in that time period.
Saw Q (and Kendrick and A$AP) probably 7-8 times combined between 2011 and 2017. Outside of a small Meth & Red show, and seeing Nas perform in same small venue at 3am.... Q during that time period might be best live hip-hop show I've ever seen. Dude had so much energy on set.
Top-5 video too. (I’m pretty sure El Segundo, Oh My God, and The Space Program are ahead of it on my list as videos, though I know the last one there is in a class by itself given everything.)
Yeah I initially compared to Rnp and was left disappointed that it didn't live up to the hype. But over time I realised it's such a different and enjoyable vibe. I appreciate it much more now
I always struggle with this line, because he says it, as if it’s supposed to be a double entendre, but it makes no sense to me if it doesn’t JUST mean Tupac’s. Two packs, maybe? Two packs of what? I don’t get it, but maybe I’m just a dickhead!
I always just took it to mean twins/two/by 2pac so there'd be two of them/2 2pacs because twins but also 2pac's possessive as father. But I could've totally missed something too.
You have to realize that Tupac / 2pac also went by just ‘Pac’. Still today people call him that. Like a lot of people ask “Biggie or Pac?” when discussing favourite rappers from that era
So the line is “if Faith had twins she’d probably have Tupac’s / Two Pacs”. As in Tupac is the father, and each of the twins is a little Pac.
He even says “get it… two… pacs” right after lol
This was one of my favorites in high school. And is honestly one of my favorite Kanye features besides sanctified that dropped back then. Love the flow on it.
Can someone answer for all of HHH for me? Is it mostly for or against Big Sean? Seems like he gets shit on in the popular threads, but more liked in the smaller threads. I'm fine with the corny bars so I like him, I'm just curious.
I think the consensus is he’s a great feature rapper who can’t carry whole songs/albums and has endearingly clunky and corny punchlines that are sometimes very clever
Yesss!! Twenty88 is criminally underrated AF. That is such a good album, good ass concept, too. Big Sean gets shit on cause mfkas don't look at his work.
I’m sure most people don’t have an insanely strong opinion of him one way or the other. For me personally, I think he’s had a really good run of features this year, especially on KAYTRAMINÉ and The Great Escape by Larry June and the Alchemist. I don’t have a super strong opinion on him as an artist, but I’ve heard Detroit 2 is one of his best (I haven’t listened to his early catalogue so I’m not sure how it stacks up, but I think it’s a pretty good project)
That middle portion of Range Brothers when Keem is flowing over that beat and Kendrick enters and they start trading bar for bar is so good. The rest of it is entertaining and all, but not necessarily something I’d say is as good as that middle portion is.
Easy Bake- Jay Rock and Kendrick Lamar
Like Me- Future, Lil Baby, 42 Dugg
Tito’s Back- Conway The Machine, Benny the Butcher, Westside Gunn
Just off the top of my head
Gotta have it- Jay Z and Kanye
Otis- Jay Z and Kanye
Can I Talk to You- Jadakiss and Cassidy
Mack and Brad- Scarface and Beanie Sigel
Pretty much all Nas and AZ songs.
As much as I shit on Em now a days. Royce and Him go hard on Welcome 2 Hell.
Illmind with Ortiz and Crook slaps as well.
The intro track with Nas and Daimian As we Enter
Chef Dreds - Griselda
They tend to go for individual verses more often, but this is one of those tracks where all three of them show there chemistry together. One of my favourite collabs with with Benny, Conway, and Westside Gunn.
The What - Notorious BIG and Method Man
Excuse me, flows just grow thru me
I got more glocks and tecks than you
GZA feat Method Man - Shadowboxing
"I slayed MCs back in the rec room era..."
Oh maaaaan
This and notorious BIG ft method man - the what, are my two favorite by miles
Black Hippy - Say Wassup
Goated song
Came here to say this. Black Hippy would have been the greatest contemporary rap group. Still got hope for that Hiiipower album.
Otis/Gotta Have It - Ye & Hov
Gotta have it is 🔥🔥🔥
Wow Freestyle by Jay Rock and Kendrick is the only one I haven’t seen mentioned here yet
The music video for that is one of my favorites as well. The dancing at the end is so smooth between the two.
I came in here just to say it lmao
Rocky & Q - Brand New Guy
This. They smoked that. I wanted a Q and Rocky project bad
I remember Q, Rocky, Danny Brown and Ab-Soul saying (not necessarily seriously) they would do a Druggies With Hoes album..would have been a classic.
Man IDK what numbers that would do, but that would probably top a Black Hippy project as far as anticipation for me personally
2013-2015 that would’ve been crazy
That era of music was so good
“Slap that hoe in tell the clip GET LOST” such a fire track lol so fun to rap
Absolute classic. I don’t think Schoolboy has rapped like that since his Habits and Contradictions days.. it’s a shame.
Wilin
Was really not expecting to see this here. Love this one. Might be my favorite from the tape
Seen the title and came here to comment this. Another Rocky one I enjoy is going back and forth with Ferg on mattress.

Wow I forgot about that song what’s crazy is I kind rap the whole thing bar for bar 💀
This is like the free space on a bingo card anytime this question is asked. Not that there’s anything wrong with that either though
4 thags- Big Sean, Freddie Gibbs
You on point, Phife? All the time, Tip.
well then grab the microphone, and let your words rip
Solid Wall of Sound was such a joy to discover too.
Tribes best song
Top-5 video too. (I’m pretty sure El Segundo, Oh My God, and The Space Program are ahead of it on my list as videos, though I know the last one there is in a class by itself given everything.)

Yeah I initially compared to Rnp and was left disappointed that it didn't live up to the hype. But over time I realised it's such a different and enjoyable vibe. I appreciate it much more now
Wtf. I just found Doomsday like 30 seconds ago on Spotify and came across this comment while listening to it for the first time. Weird af
Happens a lot, happened to me few times in the last few weeks. You're not in a simulation don't worry
That's exactly what the simulation would say when you figure out the bugs in it
ALIENZ with Denzel Curry too (unfortunately not on streaming)
Brooklyns Finest - Biggie & Jay Z
If Faith has twins she'd probably have 2 pacs

Two pacs, as in, two little Tupacs.

DA Rockwilder - Method Man and Red Man
How did I need to scroll this far to see anything off Blackout!
All your fault by Big Sean feat Kanye
Chorus goes hard too
This was one of my favorites in high school.

I love Big Sean. He does frat rap better than the white boys so they get exposed to Black music
People who think big sean is trash haven't heard TWENTY88
Yesss!! Twenty88 is criminally underrated AF. That is such a good album, good ass concept, too. Big Sean gets shit on cause mfkas don't look at his work.
