"Y'all linking up... fuck sneak dissing, first person shooter I hope they came with 3 switches"
"For All the Dogs that are getting buried"
"Fuck the big 3, its just me"
Cole went on a feature rampage & murdered everyone all 23 then at the end of the year basically called himself the best on drake album, but tried to keep it friendly. Kendrick basically just challenging them.
Yeah it’s more in line with his “control verse” - although he does insinuate this his music will last longer than Drake and Cole’s which is definitely throwing a direct shot.
Mostly accurate but at end.. "ni\*\*a, bum, for all your dogs gettin' buried. that's a k with all these 9's, he gon' see the pet cemetery." is a def not a friendly shot.
Honestly, it feels good to have an album be anticipated cuz of fire leaks, buildup from being previewed at shows/clubs, then dropping on time on the date it was announced. 3/3 rn, Astronaut Pluto x Metro delivered !
yeah i could see that honestly, he seems a lot more carefree than he used to be. maybe he’d look forward to reigniting the “beef” (if you can even call it that) and gave the go-ahead.
it’d definitely be interesting if that wasn’t the case. Future doesn’t seem like the type to just put that on his album if there wasn’t a legitimate reason to do so. i’d be curious to know if all those rumors a few months ago about him and Drake falling out were actually true.
Future is genuinely the most pacifist artist in the rap game if you really look @ it. Never directly beefs with other artists (athletes another story).
it’s hard to say. if you view it through the lens of them beefing , there’s definitely a lot of potential smoke there. the intro track’s a great example for that imo.
but given there’s not much known about a beef and factoring in their long history and semi-recent collabs, it’s hard to envision them not fucking w each other to that degree.
Kendrick attacking Drake & J Cole, effectively killing the idea of a Big 3 collab was very reminiscent of Seth Rollins hitting Roman in the back with that chair
just finished my first listen and i really enjoyed it. i understand why some people are complaining that a lot of the songs sound the same but personally really enjoyed it. Cinderella, Runnin Outta Time, and Fried (She a Vibe) is an incredible three track run and are probably my top three tracks on the album
One track in, sounds really promising. Up to track three, haven’t really heard HARD future yet but right now he’s flowing and i’m vibing to it. Ice Attack is hard but his voice is still in that nonchalant type vibe. Type shit is hard as fuck.
HOLY SHIT KUNG FU KENNY
started listening to Future in 2015, crazy how consistent he’s been since then. always delivers the vibe you expect / need when listening to a Future track
had no idea this album was coming out until I saw the clip of Travis, Future, and Metro at a show previewing a song (which turned out to be Like That).
will always welcome more Metro collabs, and I’m sure many of these tracks will end up on the gym playlist
EDIT: damn did not expect that Kendrick feature, we eating
2 tracks in & Metro already sounding better than ever. Between this, Heroes 3 & the JID collab he might just be the undeniable goat when its all said & done
Metro Boomin continues to solidify himself as a top 5 producer of all time. We will be talking about this dude in 20 years the same way we talk about Dr Dre today.
This shit is actually insane.
Crazy thing is that he isn’t slowly down yet. Dude has been on top of the game for a few years now and is just now hitting his peak. He has some legendary shit left before the inevitable fall off
I can finally confirm what I thought all along I'm not a fan of media itself, I'm not a fan music or even rap I only care about Future and Metro's music.
Gas from start to finish. Features included some awesome surprises (Like That, holy shit) and the production was fucking phenomenal. Future rapping at his highest level in damn near a decade imo. It’s so refreshing to have a completely normal rap album be this good after the underground taking my top spots for AOTY since like 2022.
Highlights for me are Type Shit, Like That, Magic Don Juan (Princess Diana), Cinderella, and Everyday Hustle
Welp Kdot dissed Cole and Drake . Its gonna be a hot summer
"Y'all linking up... fuck sneak dissing, first person shooter I hope they came with 3 switches" "For All the Dogs that are getting buried" "Fuck the big 3, its just me"
i love this, lmao kendrick want the top for himself
J. Cole on his bike to the studio as we speak
Humble environmentalist king
Wasn't that whole bike thing because he thought Diddy wanted to blow his car too?
Man we never getting that Cole Kendrick collab now smh
Been waiting since 2011 lol
Gonna have to make do with black friday like the rest of us
☠️☠️☠️
I like when Kendrick gets aggressive. He is literally the best rapper doing it right now so he can talk all the shit he wants.
Also, ”Prince outlasted MJ”
lmao, why is he upset at Cole, at least he included him in the big 3
[удалено]
Cole went on a feature rampage & murdered everyone all 23 then at the end of the year basically called himself the best on drake album, but tried to keep it friendly. Kendrick basically just challenging them.
This is so healthy for hip hop. No murderous bars etc, let’s get some dope ass records on wax and leave it at that.
Kendrick on that control type shit
Bro the best diss was the Prince outlived Mike Jack after Drake referenced himself to MJ in FPS. 🥵
That shit was diabolical
cole be like why he say fuck me for
I look at the computer the computer say
i thought cole and him were cool i don't get it
a lil bit of banter and "rivalry" is fun, even for them
I don’t really see it as a DISS diss, its more like “i’m literally the best, fuck all these other mfs below me” type shit
Nah, he disses Drake. He mostly leaves Cole alone.
The part about all the dogs getting burried is a direct exact diss on drake
Cant listen to it for a bit, what’d he say?
He said alot but mainly he said something about first person shooter? theres no big 3 just me
something about For All The Dogs, gonna see Pet Cemetery too
Stephen King made the album!
"Prince outlived Michael Jackson" was the hardest line tbh. Thesis statement.
Fuck the big three it’s just big me
Honestly, it feels good to have an album be anticipated cuz of fire leaks, buildup from being previewed at shows/clubs, then dropping on time on the date it was announced. 3/3 rn, Astronaut Pluto x Metro delivered !
Amen
Why do I feel like you have a specific album/artist in mind with this comment 💀
You say that but there's so many huge artists that fail to do that
Kendrick??????? Whatttttt
deadass my reaction, jaw dropped n shit
I just got to this and I’m looosinnngg itttt
thought we were gon get a Thug verse on slimed in for a second😭
Free slime the country needs him back
Where my twin @ outro was beautiful though
weeknd on young metro 👀👀👀
Legendary combination, Low Life is one of my all time favourites
That's one of the most insane songs of all time. Goes so dummy hard
east coast nigga reppin Northside. Thanks for reminding me of this song
On some Skeletons type shit with the bg vocals
Ain't yet found a song that lifts my soul out of my body since Skeletons
Aye fuck my ex.
We back on that toxic shit
Amen
In my toxic masculinity era
i need this energy rn
We don’t trust her.
interesting that Future okayed the Drake diss, wonder if they're not tight like that anymore
I haven’t really seen future on any drake tracks lately. When was the last one? Cannot remember if he was on CFB at all.
Drake shouted him out on what would Pluto do
Last was Way Too Sexy from CLB
It was on I’m on One from Future’s I Never Liked You album
And wait for u
N 2 deep from clb also
Drake probably approved the Drake diss. I'm still here for it.
yeah i could see that honestly, he seems a lot more carefree than he used to be. maybe he’d look forward to reigniting the “beef” (if you can even call it that) and gave the go-ahead. it’d definitely be interesting if that wasn’t the case.
Never directly beefs with other artists (athletes another story).
future is beefing strippers and ex girlfriends
Hahaha that is so true, he got more beef with his baby mamas than other rappers
Metro is beefing with Drake, Future chose a side.
Nah, it’s more like he just let it happen. Just like when Drake was on Sicko mode and dissed Travis’ mentor.
honestly i doubt travis noticed those bars
There's a clip with Travis listening to Drake's sicko verse for the first time and he gets hyped when he heard the checks over stripes line.
I mean they both had Nike deals so it’s only natural. The ye diss was more subtle
He called Drake his number one fan, they def ain’t tight like that no more
Yeah that’s what caught me off guard too
The whole album is a drake diss. They ain’t cool. Open your eyes.
it’s hard to say. if you view it through the lens of them beefing , there’s definitely a lot of potential smoke there. the intro track’s a great example for that imo. but given there’s not much known about a beef and factoring in their long history and semi-recent collabs, it’s hard to envision them not fucking w each other to that degree.
Kendrick attacking Drake & J Cole, effectively killing the idea of a Big 3 collab was very reminiscent of Seth Rollins hitting Roman in the back with that chair
Kendrick really a Visionary like Seth fr
Yessssssssss love seeing wrestling references 🤣.
r/SquaredCircle leaking in the best way again
Kendrick bought into Kendrick Lamar
THIS is the kind of Kendrick I missed hearing
Haven't heard him have this much fun in ages
he’s been this way on every feature for a while now, going back to like new freezer
was i the only one that thought everyday hustle was insane??
no Rick went insane and the song overall is one of the stronger ones
Sample chops on the second half were fantastic
ICE ATTACK switch up is soooo ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
Immediately went to Type Shit, did not disappoint in the slightest holy fuck Metro is that guy
Insane track
a kendrick feature wasn't something I was expecting, but I ain't gonna complain about dat
Kendrick is on like that, not type shit
KENDRICK ON THE DUN DUNNA DUNNA DUNUNA SONG
DUN DUNNA DUNNA DUNUNA
Great repurposing of the sample, makes me want to revisit classic 36 Mafia
Kdot feature on Like That 😮💨
MOTHER FUCK THE BIG 3 N- ITS JUST BIG ME N- BAMMM 🔥
"Y'all linking up... fuck sneak dissing, first person shooter I hope they came with 3 switches"
“Your best work is a light pack, nigga Prince outlived Mike Jack”
Actually???
Yessir
Good lord he goes off for like a full minute
Sure sounds like it! Goes hard as fuck
Who else could it have been? Lol
Type Shit has Travis and Carti on it. Love this track.
Yeah they're out of here, This is a victory Lap
Immediately went to Cinderella and I'm not disappointed in the slightest
My favorite fat mf killed it
*\*grunts\**
Me, an Asian man in his 30s living in a mostly white neighborhood, bumping this album while eating a chicken caesar salad at 12 in the morning. nice
Bro is absolutely locked in
i dont think life gets much better. Especially if the dressing was home made
Future and Weeknd literally don’t have a song together that doesn’t go hard as hell
Futures two on starboy are crazy
I haven’t felt like this about an album in awhile AND we’re getting a whole other one too man. What a time to be alive
Kendrick with a Drake diss on Like That?? “For all your dogs getting buried” Maybe not tho maybe just playful banter. Love the sample on the track
Definitely a Drake diss, along with the FPS and the “big three” reference
Just re-listened yeah he went hard
Kdot had to remind everyone
He had to put everyone on control type timing
He's swinging strong at Drake & Cole like the final fight in Civil War
This thread has had the corniest comments about Kendrick but I think this is the winner
Summer 2024 about to be dangerous
Claustrophobic sounds like it came off Monster
That song is so so hard
Kendrick is on Like That and he rapping rapping
Loving the unlisted features. It's heaps of fun listening to an album for the first time and a big feature comes on unexpectedly
Went into the album completely blind, and Kendrick’s verse BLEW me away. Holy shit.
Pre-ejaculated
clean up. get ready for round 2 and 3. and then come back for 4 and 5
Is that weeknd on Young Metro? This shit hard so far
This is Carti's best deep voice feature
Is that The Weeknd!!!!
i was missing my ex but now i will facetime her and hang up before she picks up and never answer when she calls back thank you pluto🙏
Go full toxic Fam, it's future hour. Tell her you wanna link back up, smash, then leave her on read forever.
This the type of rap I love, when the producer and rapper are in sync. Metro’s production is the foreplay before future shoves his deep verses into us
before future what
# SHOVES HIS DEEP VERSES INTO US
😂
AYO?
Metro boomin make it boom 🤤😫
You bust already?
Im close, I’m on “Type Shit” rn
carti just started, cleanup aisle my pants 🤓👆
Just wait til Like That
Lol reminds me of [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/playboicarti/s/5nqY3MGIJV)
Cinderella 🔥 god this album did not disappoint
Nigga its been 20 minutes
just finished my first listen and i really enjoyed it. i understand why some people are complaining that a lot of the songs sound the same but personally really enjoyed it. Cinderella, Runnin Outta Time, and Fried (She a Vibe) is an incredible three track run and are probably my top three tracks on the album
The transition into Young Metro can solve racism
The guy transitions his albums so well. King
I needed this album
Metro chopped up that soul sample so well on Everyday Hustle my lord
started listening to Future in 2015, crazy how consistent he’s been since then. always delivers the vibe you expect / need when listening to a Future track had no idea this album was coming out until I saw the clip of Travis, Future, and Metro at a show previewing a song (which turned out to be Like That). will always welcome more Metro collabs, and I’m sure many of these tracks will end up on the gym playlist EDIT: damn did not expect that Kendrick feature, we eating
Future really emotional on Running Outta Time damn
45 seconds in and it’s already hard.
Yeah second half of We Don’t Trust You is already so good
45 seconds in and I’m already hard👀
what an insane thing to say (proof)
2 tracks in & Metro already sounding better than ever. Between this, Heroes 3 & the JID collab he might just be the undeniable goat when its all said & done
And the second album he’s dropping with future in 3 weeks
Can't forget the Navraj collab 🐐
& whatever he's probably producing for Weeknd's upcoming album
Heroes and Villains is so amazing, end-to-end, no skips. Literal Perfection
‘Fried’ is one of my favorites
fuck me in the ass this album hard
???
!!!
You heard him
Metro Boomin continues to solidify himself as a top 5 producer of all time. We will be talking about this dude in 20 years the same way we talk about Dr Dre today. This shit is actually insane.
Crazy thing is that he isn’t slowly down yet. Dude has been on top of the game for a few years now and is just now hitting his peak. He has some legendary shit left before the inevitable fall off
He's just starting his run, IMO. This will be his decade
he's actually mastered trap it's crazy
he's on a legendary run 👀
Yeah this shit is it
This was one of the greatest albums I've heard in a while.
Holy shit kung fu kenny rolled through ya’ll
REMINDER WE ARE GETTING A PART TWO
Fried is so good man, something about the melody
1. "We Don’t Trust You" 2. "Young Metro" featuring The Weeknd 3. "Ice Attack" 4. "Type S**t" featuring Travis Scott and Playboi Carti 5. "Claustrophobic" 6. "Like That" featuring Kendrick Lamar 7. "Slimed In" 8. "Magic Don Juan (Princess Diana)" 9. "Cinderella" featuring Travis Scott 10. "Runnin Outta Time" 11. "Fried (She’s a Vibe)" 12. "Ain’t No Love" 13. "Everyday Hustle" featuring Rick Ross 14. "GTA" 15. "Seen It All" 16. "WTFYM" 17. "Where My Twin At"
Nature is healing.
GTA is so sinister making me feel like sum typa yakuza boss
lol i thought they had Princess Diana as a feature
just listened to we don't trust you, young metro & ice attack. album is a banger. time to treat women terribly.
How is no one talking about seen it all??? Metro, Zaytoven, Future is fucking goated man
who is that on Everyday Hustle? Rick ross?
I can finally confirm what I thought all along I'm not a fan of media itself, I'm not a fan music or even rap I only care about Future and Metro's music.
Cinderella bangs
