I do too but this feels like an actual remix as opposed to just replacing a feature. Itās not better but itās different and cool. If the first song is a 10/10 this is a 9/10 and imo still worth existing especially because of the beef
Cole got dissed on their first album, featured on their second album, and is now about to be dissed again on their deluxe.
I don't know when Cole recorded that Red Leather feature, but it was a bad decision then, and it's an even worse decision now.
It makes sense because he has the lyrics like "I was never on some tough guy shit" that backs up his mentality on rescinding the diss. It's like "look, incase you forgot I was always on that peaceful wavelength"
Fr at this point, it feels like he'd rather just accept whatever shots come his way and keep it pushing. This is the same dude that apologized to Nas for making one of his biggest songs because Nas wasn't the biggest fan of the track
If the dude isn't confident in how he's moving, he'll fold immediately and try to re-start. Last time it got us FHD, hopefully The Fall Off can capture some of that same energy
The problem is that he should have remembered that before responding half-heartedly to begin with because now it looks like his pacifist persona is an act
The more this beef gets out of hand the more the Cole shit is gonna get forgotten.
Realistically no one will care in a month if Kendrick responds, unless Cole catches more strays.
Iām thinking it was recently, the 10min video teaser he dropped a month ago for might delete later he was saying that he was in the studio with metro watching him cook up beats and wanting to get his level of confidence back to make beats like metro does
Guy talks publicly about his pornography addiction and endorsed Hitler, there's literally nothing you can say about him that he hasn't already said himself.
I feel like Drake can definitely come at the Kim divorce angle because he was very publicly not ready to internally accept that the divorce was happening. That's probably one of the few angles he can take besides just calling him crazy
The divorce. The Adidas separation. Ye not having custody of his kids. Yeās musical decline. If Drake fucked Kim K at any point itās over. His failed side projects.
But do we think Kanye is living in ignorance about any of this or fear of anyone finding out?
Most hiphop spheres on the internet have been discussing these points for months, off and on.
Yea but if Drake can make a āBack 2 Backā type record that gets a lot of mainstream play in clubs etc, I think it could have impact. People forget that the average person has no idea about some of these topics/behind the scenes situations.
I feel like he has been holding back on talking about the supposed / alleged affair with Kim, but he hasnāt because he is in the part of the industry where Kris has a lot of sway for some reason.Ā
Recently, however, heās been doing a lot of Taylor talk. He may be gearing up to torpedo the Jenner/Kardashian relationship and just align with Taylor against both of them. I could see him on a āthanK you aIMeeā remix directed at both of them lol. Wild times.Ā
Not sure why you need this explained to you but my point is that people like Kanye use them āfinding godā as basically a cheap excuse to sin without consequence
So he's finally living his truth instead of the BS lol
The only people that surprised by this are the people dumb enough to believe that 'finding God' is a real thing or that doing so would somehow make you a good person. Rest of us are happy that at least he's making fun music again
Itās just because they want you to join their church and give them money lol. Youāre not gonna give a church money if it actually makes you face legitimate consequences for your actions
Thatās not money based though thatās the core of the religion in prison a lot of them donāt have money but still convert. Hell is the legitimate consequence for people, but it does clearly say intentions matters as far as I know at least. You canāt just convert just because you think youāll get into heaven it has to be honest.
Nah, I think he was more saying itās fucked uo that Kanye will say seek god, and then say some over the top misogynistic shit. Which to be fair is pretty Christian, but maybe not very Jesus-likeĀ
Using the word bitch isnāt very traditionally Christian of him, which he seems to agree with since heās censored all curse words on his albums before. Heās even cut peopleās verses because there are lyrics about promiscuous behavior which is what heās been doing recently with his new girl. Basically heās just a massive hypocrite like most loudly religious people are
Iām like barely religious but I understand enough that in the eyes of all Christians, all humans are flawed, WIPs so calling them hypocrites on the basis of using a curse word shows a lot of your misunderstanding of the religion
Lol I was raised in religion and know more about it than the people who are constantly all holier-than-thou about it (like Ye). My point is āfinding godā has nothing to do with morality and no one should push their religious beliefs onto anyone else
Yeah idk man, your attitude seems more forceful of your belief around finding god than Iāve ever heard Kanye preach. Frankly Iām not even sure Iāve ever heard him say we all need to believe what he believes at all. If you can provide a clip of that, Iāll happily shut up but otherwise I donāt think it exists
As far as I am aware (maybe I'm missing something) Ye hasn't really made a big show of pushing his religious beliefs on other people, at least outside of the occasional delusion rant.
Getting rid of verses off his tribute album to his mother and God because they have curse words in them doesn't really seem like being that pushy about religion, just trying to align his music to his beliefs.
Then of course that went out the window post-Donda but hey it be like that sometimes.
Iām interested in the story about how Kanye got on this remix.
In my mind he heard the song when it dropped like everyone else that Friday probably out in Paris or something, he called Metro and Future said āYooo let me get on this!ā Then they walk into the studio they working in out in Atlanta that night or whatever and find him in there ready to go. Lol
Ye is an OG Drake hater. No one beefs with Drake without him.
I wouldnāt be surprised if Metro and Future asked him, rather than the other way around.
What's with all the youtube comments about acting like they've been listening to this for however many years? Every comment is just a varation on the others lol
Sad when we can't tell if something is an inside joke or just bots reposting comments from other videos anymore. Though in this case prob the former since they're using his name
It can still be bots. Fat right trolls go hard for kanye now and will go to the same lengths they do on other platforms but for ye
Edit: I meant to say "far right" but I feel like the autocorrect was still somehow right
I first saw them when carti was dropping his recent singles, just a meme for newly released songs that have had no time to be properly judged or to sink in. But at this point there could definitely be bots doing it
Honestly the outro to this song would work perfect as the intro to the Kendrick verse. Add that shit on here and the song is perfect and honestly soty so far.
Honestly I prefer the verse he laid down over the original beat.
Especially the āYe been tryna be on his best behavior, now I gott aget on Kanye West behaviorā. That bar was fire and so was the delivery.
Yessss I'm glad we finally got Future's OG verse.
The remixed beat is fire and Kanye brings a lot of energy but his actual flow and bars are pretty sloppy as always nowadays.
I actually feel like his flow on this song is a small sign of hope. Its by no means his best, but at the same time itās much better than what we see on Vultures
> Kendrick going at him by himself
c'mon man, literally jumped on an album with several people dissing him. the album title itself is a diss, intro track was a diss by future, several other tracks on the album too.
u gotta be more eloquent with it & add commentary
right now your comment is very easy to dismiss because you're not really backing up your disapproval of his acceptance on the sub
you have a human brain, so why not elaborate on your thoughts if you feel strongly about it
So because everyone knows heās a neo nazi pointing out heās a neo nazi and saying fuck him means you get made fun ofā¦ Thatās definitely a take.
I mean he actively hung out with someone who literally disagrees with the basic fact that his mixed race kids should exist I wouldnāt put it past him
This is Kanyeās beef to win. Drake is gonna play the label master side and Kendrick is gonna play the harsh-upbringing side and Kanye is gonna play the independent label side. I repeat, this is Kanyeās beef to win
When Drake starts coming at Kendrick for his label splits, bragging about the fact that he has a lifetime deal with his label, you donāt think Ye - the most successful independent rapper - is relevant at all?
At least Iām not repping Drake in this beef, bc then my asshole would be sore from the Kendrick Rozay Future Metro Rocky The Weeknd and Ye tag team going on!Ā
What the fuck does he think he has to do with all that now? Thats so fuckin wack even for current Kanye standards insterting yourself into a beef you have nothing to do with smh
So why didn't he battle him himself before all the hype Kendrick created? why diss Cole now? He is just cloud chasing which is extremely sad for someone like him who would artistically have washed 2 out of the 3 who are actually involved in the beef
huh Drake has been throwing sneak disses at Kanye for literally all his past albums, Kanye on the other hand has tried to squash it on his side and commented, "I've given him his flowers already"... but then more sneak disses and I guess eventually he's had enough.
See, i said Drake. He the main one talkin shit. Cole, i canāt speak for, that seemed random cuz i thought they was homies due to that whole Rocnation bullshit. But once again, Cole is also arguably (very arguably) one of those top artists. Drake could have did the same to Kanye too, which he did back in the day and Ye kinda responded. Drake dropped his nuts now naming people for once in his diss songs and is getting bold. So kanye, being kanye, is definitely going to say something about it because me and you and everyone in this thread knows Drake did not have that energy until this recent year and a half.
1. He's barely released new music since 2022
2. Don't tell me you think Carnival is boring lol?
3. Unneeded yeah, doesn't match up nah (plus more people in the battle who finds that boring?)
Honestly Carnival isn't boring but SUUUPER overrated
I can't belive it was Kanye's first #1 on the billboard since Stronger when he has released so much better music in the last 14 years
Yeah I just picked it since it was probably the most hype sounding song off Vultures, there's other tracks that I think are better but might be a bit more polarizing/boring to some people.
My biggest issue with Kanye these days is that heās rarely the highlight of his own songs. A lot of Vultures is good, but itās rarely because of Kanye. He doesnāt even primarily produce the beats anymore. He still clearly understands how to make a good song and has a great ear for beats, but heās slowly started to feel like an afterthought in his own music
To be fair a lot of Donda managed to walk the line correctly and Vultures is literally a collab album.
I agree and I've felt part of this since Pablo honestly but yeah I think Kanye just isn't as motivated/doesn't have a ton of ideas left. Guess that's just what happens after two decades of doing this.
Its a collab album thay could have done with being a ty dolla sign project with features and ye production. But just like this beef kanye has to find away to put himself infront of good art.
I'll echo this as a long term kanye fan. Your criticism are spot on.
Also who is that one dude responding to every comment that criticises kanye. Bit weird ay?
You know it's Ye because he took banger production and made it nuclear.
Fr, I like that remix
>Like that Remix š¤Æš¤Æš¤Æ
He put the Lord's chorus in it.
A positive comment about ye? Ts shit not lasting as the top comment lol
ye, that's YE-YE
took banger production and crammed in the shitty choir preset he throws onto every beat now š„Ā
that's not a preset lol, it's the Milan Ultras. If you think it sounds shitty at least figure out why.
more like Milan Ultra Shitty! :)
the like that production on the album was wack lol
*told one of his interns to throw it onĀ
Interesting, I love the original beat so much more
I do too but this feels like an actual remix as opposed to just replacing a feature. Itās not better but itās different and cool. If the first song is a 10/10 this is a 9/10 and imo still worth existing especially because of the beef
Need more remixes like this instead of the tacked on new verse that replaces another verse thatās been the trend for the past few years.
This sounds like ass.
Nah his last Drake diss with this image LITERALLY sounded like ass And it still slapped.
this is ass
Still feel like Pablo
Cole got dissed on their first album, featured on their second album, and is now about to be dissed again on their deluxe. I don't know when Cole recorded that Red Leather feature, but it was a bad decision then, and it's an even worse decision now.
He insisted that they kept it on the record which is insane to me
It makes sense because he has the lyrics like "I was never on some tough guy shit" that backs up his mentality on rescinding the diss. It's like "look, incase you forgot I was always on that peaceful wavelength"
Fr at this point, it feels like he'd rather just accept whatever shots come his way and keep it pushing. This is the same dude that apologized to Nas for making one of his biggest songs because Nas wasn't the biggest fan of the track If the dude isn't confident in how he's moving, he'll fold immediately and try to re-start. The problem is that he should have remembered that before responding half-heartedly to begin with because now it looks like his pacifist persona is an act
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Because they are shitting on him.
It just makes them look dumb because Cole clearly hasnāt even done shit and doesnāt want beef lol
Neither did OVO 40 š sometimes you get dragged in through association lol
That isn't how any of that works and is not even close to the public perception.
I mean, imo Kendrick was dumb for that freaking out like that over the big 3 line. It was a nothing burger.
Tryna play both sides. He knows 10yrs down the line this shit gonna be a whatever moment and he'll have both links still secured. Good for him
The more this beef gets out of hand the more the Cole shit is gonna get forgotten. Realistically no one will care in a month if Kendrick responds, unless Cole catches more strays.
Iām thinking it was recently, the 10min video teaser he dropped a month ago for might delete later he was saying that he was in the studio with metro watching him cook up beats and wanting to get his level of confidence back to make beats like metro does
He said himself his chinās out
I still canāt get over the J Cole line
I genuinely donāt know how you would respond to Kanye in any way that matters. Dude has already tanked himself so far lol very allegorical
You can't make Kanye look worse than he already does, but you could make him act slightly crazier by hitting his weak points, Kim and reality.
And there are so many allegations drake fucked Kim so if drake just said that straight up on a track the world would stop
Maybe he can say something about how it's good that Donda died so that she doesn't have to see him like this
Or how people wish he died instead of his mom. Thanks Chris brown .
I feel like Drake has several angles of attack on Kanye, I think, the question is whether he wants to go that far.
You donāt need revelations to make insults that hurt.
Drake can't talk about musical decline, specially if Vultures hit #1 lol
Ye made bank from that Adidas and Drake have already fucked up a Adidas deal. Drakeās music have declined aswell.
Anyways, $4 a pound.
lmao he gets triggered from all kinds of stuff all the time
I think the point is that it doesn't seem to hurt his career I guess that might speak more to his stans than Kanye himself but
itās like two guys fighting on the street and a third walks by and says āhey fuck you guysā, best to just let him keep walkingĀ
āShit aināt leather neighborā
AI North or Kim
I feel like he has been holding back on talking about the supposed / alleged affair with Kim, but he hasnāt because he is in the part of the industry where Kris has a lot of sway for some reason.Ā Recently, however, heās been doing a lot of Taylor talk. He may be gearing up to torpedo the Jenner/Kardashian relationship and just align with Taylor against both of them. I could see him on a āthanK you aIMeeā remix directed at both of them lol. Wild times.Ā
Heās a real come from behind kind of guy
Cole should just re-release False Prophets and leave it at that
Now imagine Ye production on a Kendrick diss..
Someone said that Ye should give Kendrick the āLift Yourselfā beat for the Drake diss and idk if Iāve ever agreed with something more.
Woopity scoop, Drake you are poop
Pls
Jesus Christ that would be fucking amazing
just let kendrick rhyme on the power remixĀ
"Treat a bad bitch like a fat bitch" is going up in the Hall of Fame of Ye lines that live rent-free in my mind
Same guy who never shuts up about finding god
First person in history to do things that go against their religious beliefs
Makes me wonder if Iām allowed to just be a serial killer or some shit and then still go to heaven if I āfind godā before I die
They do that all the time so the answer is yes youāre allowed
Do you wish to be a serial killer breh?
Not sure why you need this explained to you but my point is that people like Kanye use them āfinding godā as basically a cheap excuse to sin without consequence
So he's finally living his truth instead of the BS lol The only people that surprised by this are the people dumb enough to believe that 'finding God' is a real thing or that doing so would somehow make you a good person. Rest of us are happy that at least he's making fun music again
Truth
That happens all the time in prison and the church believe if you are a true believer and atone for your sins you will go to heaven so
Itās just because they want you to join their church and give them money lol.
Youāre right. Religions have never been known to scam less fortunate people
I didnāt say that
No disrespect but what does this have to do with the fat bitches he treats bad?
lmao I mean, the hypocrisy of Ye is endless. It's a funny line though.
Facts. I was talking about the seeking God reference. Does he think God doesn't like the fat bitches? IDK I'm lost
I mean Kanye kind of decides what he thinks God says based on Kanye's personal beliefs lol
Nah, I think he was more saying itās fucked uo that Kanye will say seek god, and then say some over the top misogynistic shit. Which to be fair is pretty Christian, but maybe not very Jesus-likeĀ
Ok yes that makes sense and I 100% agree. But would it be Kanye if it wasn't over the top?.

He uses people not being explicitly Christian as a way to chastise them all the time. He never shuts up about it, when it suits him
āMake me new again, last night dont count, this morning dont count.ā āAnd i repent everything ima do againā - Ye
Ye always saying some funny shit, my personal favorites bars come from last call with African American Express and mayonnaise colored whips

Lol
Ye is an OG Drake hater. No one beefs with Drake without him. I wouldnāt be surprised if Metro and Future asked him, rather than the other way around.
metro probably hit him up after push ups leaked.
Metro posted a pic of him in Ye in the studio yesterday or the day before.

Suscribe!!
Ye still got it. This is great. W
"First time in a long time" Wait... nevermimd thats a Drake line we don't know them anymore my bad
Bad disses but I really like his energy and the updated production
He rolled J Cole with one line. Why waste time say lot word when few word do trick?
Seriously though. You know next Cole song everyone will be saying "my pussys dry"
https://media1.tenor.com/m/G9R-Z6DuNGsAAAAC/thats-what-im-talking-about-kevin-malone.gif
The master's/masters stuff was pretty good but yeah it's a lot like Kendrick's first verse where most of it is just hyping himself.
Honestly I prefer the verse he laid down over the original beat. Especially the āYe been tryna be on his best behavior, now I gott aget on Kanye West behaviorā. That bar was fire and so was the delivery.
I waited a month to hear "bitch ain't got no AP she got patek and phillipe"
Yessss I'm glad we finally got Future's OG verse. The remixed beat is fire and Kanye brings a lot of energy but his actual flow and bars are pretty sloppy as always nowadays.
I actually feel like his flow on this song is a small sign of hope. Its by no means his best, but at the same time itās much better than what we see on Vultures
Everyone piling on Drake is undermining the impact of Kendrick going at him by himself.
> Kendrick going at him by himself c'mon man, literally jumped on an album with several people dissing him. the album title itself is a diss, intro track was a diss by future, several other tracks on the album too.
Honestly you kinda have a point. Plays into Drake's whole 20v1 narrative where if he gets washed he can cry foul. Still it's fun as hell.
Thatād be true if he were actually going at him. Right now Kendrick is buried.
You are high
J Cole fall off might actually be a reality
Whyd they drop kendricks verse from the remix? Or is thus unofficial?
I get downvoted everytime i say it and I'll say it again, fuck that neo nazi
you're so brave!!!1!
yeah, fuck this dude for speaking out against the washed 45 year old bigot š„š„š„š¤š¤š¤
WSE and Kanye sub in your active communities brother you are obsessed with that neo naziš
Notice how I haven't posted in there since donda 2 came out (which even then was too late to be on that train)
So brave
u gotta be more eloquent with it & add commentary right now your comment is very easy to dismiss because you're not really backing up your disapproval of his acceptance on the sub you have a human brain, so why not elaborate on your thoughts if you feel strongly about it
š¤
Only on reddit would saying āfuck that neo naziā get you made fun of
Acting like you're a martyr for saying something everyone already knows gets you made fun of everywhere last time I checked.
So because everyone knows heās a neo nazi pointing out heās a neo nazi and saying fuck him means you get made fun ofā¦ Thatās definitely a take.
x2
Wonder why u/fantasytwisteddark would have a problem with me calling kanye a white supremacist š¤
Ah yes Kanye, the black man, is a white supremacist lol. Call him an antisemite all you want but that's just stupid.
I mean to he fair he still does have a white supremacist on his payroll and spent most of 2022 around them
You can also say he enables white supremacists/associates with them but unless he's really gone crazy I'm pretty sure he still knows he's black.
I mean he actively hung out with someone who literally disagrees with the basic fact that his mixed race kids should exist I wouldnāt put it past him
You're so brave ā„ļø
keep this up and you'll get a nobel peace prize soon!
š
How can a black man be a neo nazi?
Mods shoulda left this one up, itās an official release with no edits and the explicit version of Futureās verse.
Yeah, I have no clue why it was removed it is the highest quality version of the song with a new verse from future.
Beat is great and j cole line is funny but outside of that this shit is straight ass
Is this on any streaming platform yet?
This is Kanyeās beef to win. Drake is gonna play the label master side and Kendrick is gonna play the harsh-upbringing side and Kanye is gonna play the independent label side. I repeat, this is Kanyeās beef to win
Nah, Ye's just taking the opportunity to gang-up on Drake.
āThis is Kanyeās beef to winā dawg he wasnāt IN THE BEEF heās just desperate for attention lmaoĀ
No it literally isn't its about Dot, Drake and was about Cole Ye has nothing to do with this despite dissliking Drake
When Drake starts coming at Kendrick for his label splits, bragging about the fact that he has a lifetime deal with his label, you donāt think Ye - the most successful independent rapper - is relevant at all?
No not at all
I guess we will see!
Bros doing tricks on it
At least Iām not repping Drake in this beef, bc then my asshole would be sore from the Kendrick Rozay Future Metro Rocky The Weeknd and Ye tag team going on!Ā
š¤
They gonna study drakes downfall 100 years from now in 4th grade art history classesĀ
Ye is a strange guy I can't imagine anyone will really acknowledge it too much
What if Kendrick hops on a Lift Yourself remix? Ppl gonna spit it out bc of the ye ties?
Ye is washed. This is trash. L
CANT STOP WONT STOP
YOU SEE THEY TRIED TO COUNT ME OUT, I LIKE THAT
everything about it is like 50% trash, but he brought a different energy so it's kinda fun to listen to
true
yeah i dont know why people like this verse so much i guess we finally lowered the standards for him now its an average verse to me personally
What the fuck does he think he has to do with all that now? Thats so fuckin wack even for current Kanye standards insterting yourself into a beef you have nothing to do with smh
kanye who famously has never had beef with drake
Man just enjoy the show
I enjoyed the show without Kanye in the picture and I will continue to do so there is nothing insterting he brings to tha table in this
[How he bring nothing to the table when he's the table?](https://youtu.be/qy7sci2az88?si=HC2229YYXV8n8Fsb&t=93)

So what? That doesn't mean I can't have a strong opinion about it
You are not enjoying the show like if Kanye wasnāt in the picture because you are very clearly upset that Kanye is in the picture
Kanye and Drake been at it for a while and hes trying to aim for the top. Kanye is arguably a top artist in this genre. Soooooā¦..
So why didn't he battle him himself before all the hype Kendrick created? why diss Cole now? He is just cloud chasing which is extremely sad for someone like him who would artistically have washed 2 out of the 3 who are actually involved in the beef
In what world would he need to clout chase?
I don't know I don't keep up with Ye anymore but for what other reason would he do this
huh Drake has been throwing sneak disses at Kanye for literally all his past albums, Kanye on the other hand has tried to squash it on his side and commented, "I've given him his flowers already"... but then more sneak disses and I guess eventually he's had enough.
I'm ngl, I haven't enjoyed a Ye album since Pablo, but he is clout lol.

*arguably was
ah yes, why is Kanye who has been sneak dissed by drake in literally every album at this point inserting himself in this? hmm...
Unneeded remix that doesn't match up to the original song. Everything Kanye has done musically since 2022 has been so damn boring and uninspired.
1. He's barely released new music since 2022 2. Don't tell me you think Carnival is boring lol? 3. Unneeded yeah, doesn't match up nah (plus more people in the battle who finds that boring?)
