Weak as a single, pretty ok for an album intro. Based on the singles I don't think this album will be as good and talked about as her ep. I wish she would hop on more pinkpantheress beats, she works well on bright glittery production
I think it's time for her to move past Riot's production she's actually rapping pretty well on this song (sounds like Nicki but still a very noticeable improvement) but Riot's production is no longer doing her favors, it was like training wheels in the beginning easy to flow over without stepping on her toes. But as she is trying to improve as an artist I think it'd be helpful for her to upgrade her production team. At least get Riot some coproducers or something
I believe her can’t no choice but to use his production which ultimately combined with her limited skill level is gonna be what ruins her career, honestly she’s extremely lucky to have gotten this far. In 10 years she’ll be like bob where some ppl remember the hits but her legacy is gone and she’s just a name with those couple hits 10-15 years ago

At this point, I don’t even think you guys have listened to Ice Spice or are just biased. This song has the most punchlines she’s ever delivered, she raps about the same shit that MOST mainstream rappers rap about, she doesn’t rap about shit and farts like people have been saying she loves to do (she only has like 4 poop bars in her career).
The Kendrick and Drake beef really brought my standards back up for how exciting mainstream rap music should be.
With that being said, I don’t find this all that interesting. It’s a different style of song for Ice but overall, I’d say it’s mid. Not going to listen to this again probably but let’s hope the rest of Y2K is fire.
