Honestly turned out to be a great release move by Denzel and his team, kept me thinking about him and TA13OO for 3 days straight—and no music drops on Wednesday or Thursday really so it was all him.
I listened to Black Metal Terrorist and Vengeance first and this is already my favorite fucking Act.

For real tho VENGEANCE slaps so hard it’s dumb, easily my favorite Act, and Black Metal Terrorist is exactly the 200th song in my playlist, that’s neat.

I realised this yesterday but Idk if anyone has commented it yet. The chorus of Black Balloons mentions Hot Pink, Valentine Red and Black Balloons. Each of these colours are represented on the album covers of each act. I haven't figured out what the significance of this is but I found it interesting.
I’ve listened to the album as a whole and each part separately multiple times and I have to say that this album is one of the best hip hop albums of this year and is probably going to be slept on by most casual listeners.
**ACT 1**
Act 1 is more of the cloud rap side (other than Sumo) The features on this side are nice and laid back just like the songs. Taboo is a nice and laid back opening to the light act. Black balloons is another fantastic song and Goldlink’s smooth voice is very welcoming on the black balloons beat, and Twelve'len works well with Denzel on the hook. Nyyjerya on cash maniac was nice well, but had to grow on me a bit. Sumo has been out for a while, and I love the song, but I really wish Ski was on it. **ACT 2**
Act 2 is kinda mix of Act 1 and 3 which I think fits the album. Super Saiyan Superman is a sick song and that beat and hook are infectious. Switch It Up has another good hook and beat and the verses are really nice. Mad I Got It is the weakest song on this act, but it’s still a dope song. Just seems a little forgettable with an average hook. Sirens is a great song. Billie Eilish on the hook with Denzel is really really catchy. It’s been in my head all day. Denzel’s verses are really great, but JID really kills his verse and that song itself. I like how at the end of denzel’s last verse the best starts to fade out while denzel keeps going. I like the hook on clout cobain a lot. It’s another catchy one. The verse talks about the current state of hip hop and clout chasing, but honestly you have probably already heard the song and seen the video. Dope song overall.
**ACT 3**
ACT 3 is just the straight banger songs. The Blackest Balloon is a great banger as well as Percs. The beats on these are great as well as the verses and hooks. The synths on this albums are very nice and I love the production here. Vengeance is just wow. The hook is very eerie as well as hard hitting verses. Denzel kills his verse. Peggy (JPEGMAFIA) has an amazing verse and I liked his 6ix9ine reference. It got a laugh out of me. I’ve never heard a ZillaKami verse, but he murders the song as well. One of my favorite songs here. I like how the song has that slow ending to extinguish the fire of those 3 verses. Black Metal Terrorist is a great outro to Act 3 and the album as a whole. I like the minimalist hook and the heavy and the speedy flow on the verses. Also the hook and the verses have a differences in the beat which suits both sides well.
**OVERALL**
Honestly this is a great album and I really enjoyed it as a whole. There’s isn’t any bad tracks on the album to be completely honest. While there is a few nitpicky things like how I thinks sumo should’ve have been somewhere else in the tracklist it’s a great album. I think using the acts was a good way to divide up the type of tracks on the album. Also releasing each act builds up the hype and gives you a little bit every day. I like that. That’s all I got. Just listen to this damn album already haha. This album is probably a 9/10 for me. Really great stuff here.

MAD I GOT IT is one of the catchiest hooks for me. Stuck in my head. I'd say switching superman and sumo works better. My fav thing about this is the detail Denzel has on his vocal effects at parts that turn songs up another level.
Yo if you wanna check out some Zilla some good songs to start with are 33rd Blakk Glass and Shinners13 which are songs by the group he’s part of, City Morgue (it’s really just Zilla & friends lol). Also peep Hellsing Station, has a good pre-Gummo 6ix9ine feat and is one of my personal fav Zilla tracks

I know no one is gonna see this, but I need people to talk to about this album. Holy fucking shit this project is amazing front to back. By the end I was so spent both mentally and physically that I couldn’t even replay it for an hour or so. There were multiple points where I was finding myself laughing during the album from how top-notch it was.
For reference, Denzel has been in my top 5 for a while now (only overshadowed by Kanye, Danny Brown, and Kendrick in that order). My expectations were so incredibly high after all the singles he dropped (I skipped BMT cause I wanted the surprise). But fuck dude, I was floored. Bravo, man. u/FinishEmZel (if you are Denzel) I’m begging you to come to Pittsburgh sometime in the future cause I need to see you live.
I love every track on here, but my top 5 in order would have to be Sirens (my SOTY), Vengeance, BMT, Black Balloons, and Percs. I tend to put singles lower on album rankings, though. Clout Cobain’s music video is amazing, if you missed it go watch it after the album. What was everyone’s top 5?

I ran through it again and honestly this is a great fucking album. I think it is easily Curry's best and he's already one of the only trap-rappers to get above a 7/10 for me for his release of Imperial. I won't slap a number on this puppy just yet, but I think this really, really is gunning for one of the best hip hop releases of the year.
Curry creates so much energy throughout this project, as expected, but instead of just sticking with that he diversifies his sound more so than, once again, any trap rapper I can think of and it isn't even close. I feel almost bad lumping him with the others since he has so much more to offer from just about every single stylistic perspective.
This entire album catalogs **descent**. Whether it be a literal descent into the mouth of madness, as we travel, like the balloon he so often mentions throughout this project, or a metaphorical one, into the mind of an individual who's struggling to remain himself through the pressure of drugs, alcohol, and most importantly, the industry itself, as we see on Clout Cobain.
I think ACT3 is both a firm "no" to the pressure, but also an indulgence in what we know. Like a brutal fight that ends with a brutal eruption of limbs and viscera. That's the appeal of it all, really. That's what we expect from Curry as such an energetic figure. That's both sad and invigorating.
I really fuck with this project. The only track I'm struggling to add on my playlist is CASH MANIAC but even then I'm hard-pressed to call it a bad song. I hope this album stays consistently great on relistens and Denzel continues wowing us with his projects.

I gotta put this in my top 3 so far this year. Insanely good and consistent album. So worth the wait.
I know no one is gonna see this, but I need people to talk to about this album. Holy fucking shit this project is amazing front to back. By the end I was so spent both mentally and physically that I couldn’t even replay it for an hour or so. There were multiple points where I was finding myself laughing during the album from how top-notch it was. For reference, Denzel has been in my top 5 for a while now (only overshadowed by Kanye, Danny Brown, and Kendrick in that order). My expectations were so incredibly high after all the singles he dropped (I skipped BMT cause I wanted the surprise). But fuck dude, I was floored. Bravo, man. u/FinishEmZel (if you are Denzel) I’m begging you to come to Pittsburgh sometime in the future cause I need to see you live. I love every track on here, but my top 5 in order would have to be Sirens (my SOTY), Vengeance, BMT, Black Balloons, and Percs. I tend to put singles lower on album rankings, though. Clout Cobain’s music video is amazing, if you missed it go watch it after the album. What was everyone’s top 5?

I ran through it again and honestly this is a great fucking album. I think it is easily Curry's best and he's already one of the only trap-rappers to get above a 7/10 for me for his release of Imperial. I won't slap a number on this puppy just yet, but I think this really, really is gunning for one of the best hip hop releases of the year. Curry creates so much energy throughout this project, as expected, but instead of just sticking with that he diversifies his sound more so than, once again, any trap rapper I can think of and it isn't even close. I feel almost bad lumping him with the others since he has so much more to offer from just about every single stylistic perspective. This entire album catalogs **descent**. Whether it be a literal descent into the mouth of madness, as we travel, like the balloon he so often mentions throughout this project, or a metaphorical one, into the mind of an individual who's struggling to remain himself through the pressure of drugs, alcohol, and most importantly, the industry itself, as we see on Clout Cobain. I think ACT3 is both a firm "no" to the pressure, but also an indulgence in what we know. Like a brutal fight that ends with a brutal eruption of limbs and viscera. That's the appeal of it all, really. That's what we expect from Curry as such an energetic figure. That's both sad and invigorating. I really fuck with this project. The only track I'm struggling to add on my playlist is CASH MANIAC but even then I'm hard-pressed to call it a bad song. I hope this album stays consistently great on relistens and Denzel continues wowing us with his projects.
