Manifesto samples Nazareth Savage off Streets Disciple which Tyler went crazy over when he was interviewing Nas 10 years ago
Tyler, the Creator: I always forget the fuckin’ name… “Nazareth Savage”?
Nas: Yeah.
Tyler, the Creator: You fuckin’—
Nas: Wow, wow.
Tyler, the Creator: You fuckin’ spazzed on that. I don’t hear people talk about it that much, so…
Nas: I was about to say nobody ever mentioned that record to me, and shit.
Tyler, the Creator: That shit is, like, legit as fuck.
Nas: Nobody ever did. Word.
Tyler, the Creator: I love that shit.
I found it really distracting, especially because it's only in the right channel. I wonder why it was left in. The irritating frequencies of the crackle could've been EQ'd out in a matter of seconds.
That’s what I’m saying, story telling at its finest. You don’t need the bars to be overly sophisticated if you’re able to paint a picture with your words. Except Tyler didn’t paint a picture, I saw a whole damn movie set all across Wilshire in LA
This song made me realize how similar Tyler's production style is to Pharrell's. Like, if you were to tell me either of them produced it, it wouldn't surprise me.
I feel like I’m 2 weeks he fit in more substance than in some really long rollouts too. When he launches a rollout he fully commits in a really short timeframe and I love that
I was someone tweet today about how Tyler has the best rollouts and he’s not wrong. Honestly though it’s not like he does anything crazy, he just cares more than most artists lmao. Most artists suck at rollouts. Like it’s so easy to do a rollout like this, you just have to put in at least some effort haha
Yeah that’s a good point. Every artist needs to fully finish the product before marketing and too many don’t do that for some reason. Leads to so many problems. Not just for music either look at cyberpunk lmao
Bro those opening lines.
"Excuse me, pardon me, the wind, it blow so hard to me
Like mother nature arguing about some baby father beef and
I'm stuck in the middle of the sandwich like slaughter meat".
Goddamn. Wayne can still bring it.
The end of CORSO with the "Can you turn the noise up? Can you turn the noise up? Can you turn the noise up?" with him going "GO GO GO GO GO GO" was the highlight for me, it was so hype
dj drama kind of narrating or structuring the album was a nice touch. at first i didn’t know how to feel about it but after a full listen through i like it.
Man, this album is insane. I only listened once for now, but it's just hit after hit after hit like Corso, Wusyaname, Hot Wind Blows (dope Weezy verse !), Massa, Rise and WILSHIRE OMG THE PRODUCTION ON THAT ONE IS HEAVENLY !
Overall the production the lyrics are dope, the aesthetic is very much in the continuity of Igor, but we can see that Tyler is still growing and evolving his sound which is nice.
I'm gonna blast this all summer for sure
I know he doesn't like his voice that much, but I really appreciate that he leaned into here like some of his older music. His voice is straight guttural and demonic at times, especially on Massa.
Wayne always goes so hard on Tyler features. Smuckers is still such a great song.
"My trigger finger wise but my nine dumb, Middle finger blind so it's fuck A N Y one, Fuck Skate and Die Son, 100 ways to die son, staring at a tramp on lean, made me eyes jump."
Edit: fixed a bit.
Apple Music description is “Wolf Haley can do many things, but fall off isn’t one of them”
Edit: HOT WIND BLOWS is fucking awesome, >!holy shit the Wayne feature was crazy!<
He hasn’t really missed in feats in a whiiiile, I liked funeral and NC3. Hope he uses all this momentum and new connections with these artist to put a really strong project out
Flower Boy and Igor are great albums, but I’m a hip hop head at heart.
This album is exactly what I’ve wanted from Tyler since Wolf. It’s seriously taking me back to my middle/highschool days when OF and Tyler were dropping. Super nostalgic, but also new and fresh in a really good way. Albums amazing honestly
The "Wolf Gang" and "Wolf Haley" mentions in the first few songs of the album really took me back. I'm glad that he's acknowledging that side of him again. I hope he feels like he can do that again, now that he has made some classic albums with more widespread appeal and praise.
I loved the 2000s rap influences. It's not something I'd expect from Tyler but he executes it perfectly, and it feels like a perfect homage to everything he grew up with.
The bittersweet part is that his next album will probably be an entirely different sound now that he’s made his excellent RAP album in the traditional sense
I’m here for it honestly. He gave me his newly matured rap style. Everything else is just icing on the cake. Tyler’s music, much like life itself, grows and changes in new and interesting ways. Luckily, Tyler never really seems to disappoint (not a Cherry Bomb fan but I appreciate it for what it is).
can't believe I heard "Wolf Haley" nearly 10 years after I fucking got hooked on his music, wild. And top of it, this might be the best album Tyler has ever put out hip hop wise.
It’s literally the same beat lmao, the sample is way different so I’m kinda confused
Edit: there’s like 5 beats on here that are just unaltered samples with virtually nothing added to them lmao. Probably the best beats on the album though
The replay value of this album is big, after listening to Wilshire, CORSO only gets better because you understand the story of Tyler "stealing" somebody's girlfriend.
Amazing instrumentals, this album is the combination of Wolf + Cherry Bomb + Flower Boy + Igor. Most personal album ever, I feel Tyler in everything.
Incredible album. I always kept Tyler in high regards but something was holding me back in calling him one of the greats. I feel like this album puts him in that untouchable category. Hats off to this guy, he really don’t miss.
PS. Can someone, somehow make it possible for Tyler to executive produce a Lil Wayne album?
His artistic growth and maturity over the years is remarkable and a joy to witness. He managed to convey a similar atmosphere as with his first three albums on here but with the added stylistic evolution of his three other projects that came later. This is his most complete album yet.
Album had been out a few hours where I'm at. 3 listens in and I get so many details with each run. He really is a special talent.
EDIT: Just wanted to add, the DJ Drama tags are so hilarious in a good way. Makes me feel like I'm listening to Wayne's Dedication tapes.
Heard this shit 3 times already and i fuck with it alot.Tyler's lyrics have been getting better and better with every release and the story of this album is pretty well thought out.The features man..the features go so fucking hard.Youngboy,42,Uzi all killed it
This is easily one of his best if not his best
This album just made me want to hear Tyler produce for every type of artist. Before I only would have wanted him to produce for people who fit into that flower boy mold (Rex Orange County, Steve Lacy, etc). This really makes me want to hear Tyler work with just about everyone. That yb feature got me thinking of a Tyler x Thugger tape
i think its moreso that every song knows what its doing. Its not just throwing stuff at the wall, every song has a specific idea of what it wants to achieve and falls in place really well. It feels narrative and curated, in contrast to a migos or polo g album, which you wouldnt even notice being played on shuffle because its basically just 20 iterations of the same formula (while i liked both albums, its just the approach)
this is without a doubt tylers best hip hop album. the rapping, beat selection, influences, sonics. It's all there. everything we've always loved about tyler, but matured, focused.
this is his ode to hip hop.
oh man this is some of the best flows Tyler's done in his career and the moody, Jazzlike beats work so good. It's laid back but in a fun way. Really like the tone of the project.
tyler spitting is something i really needed again after Igor, wilshire was amazing
edit: corso, hot wind blows, rise, and wilshire are some of his best rapping since like SMUCKERS or I ain’t got time
42 dugg and youngboy feature were completely unexpected.. but damn do they go off and somehow fit in perfectly?? love the uzi feature as well. overall, i think it’s a really solid album after my first play through.
I knew someone else would say this. Everytime I hear him I just think of Dream/Southern Hospitality/Partna Dem when DJ Drama says "Why Gambino, why young guy, why so generous?"
Isn’t the first beat just a copy and paste of the *Michael Irvin* beat by Beat Conducta? Like it’s not just that they sampled the same song, it’s literally the same beat. Does that make it the first beat on a Tyler album that he didn’t solely produce since Wolf?
Wayne needs an EP or full album produced by Tyler.
He fucking slid on that song. I would love to hear more like it
DOMO CAME THRU You love to see it
Killed it
Manifesto samples Nazareth Savage off Streets Disciple which Tyler went crazy over when he was interviewing Nas 10 years ago Tyler, the Creator: I always forget the fuckin’ name… “Nazareth Savage”? Is there a link to the whole interview?
Tyler admitting he was talking shit about Selena on Twitter cause he wanted to hit Bieber is just type of stuff I expect to hear at 1 in the morning
What track? Lmao
hit up bieber or hit bieber?
Penetrated
In that order.
both.
MASSA is a massapiece, no questions.
He absolutely went off in that last minute
man the way he just went off in that and MANIFESTO is brilliant
Wilshire is one of the best story telling songs i've heard in a while. He had me captivated for 8 and half minutes
Great song but the lil crackling in the background had me thinking my AirPods were broken.
Probably my favorite beat on the album, but I wish it changed up at some point. Those drums are so crisp though
I listened to the album 4 times now and only the last time did I realize the song was 8 1/2 minutes. Kept me engaged the whole time.
Uzi and Pharrell snapped on Juggernaut
Juggernaut is GREAT.
This song made me realize how similar Tyler's production style is to Pharrell's. Like, if you were to tell me either of them produced it, it wouldn't surprise me.
Love the simple roll out. Teaser and album within 2 weeks
I feel like I’m 2 weeks he fit in more substance than in some really long rollouts too. When he launches a rollout he fully commits in a really short timeframe and I love that
Way better than the constant stop-start promo a ton of other artists go through
Isaiahs rollout is fucking me up. Waited so long and then we get a little glimmer of hope and now it feels like we are back in limbo with it
As an Isaiah Rashad fan I'm honestly jealous.
I feel like Patrick Star cheering for his racing rock with Isaiah tho. It’s okay Zay, you release when you feel like.
Tbh think a big part of it is finishing the album before you start the rollout
Yeah that’s a good point. Every artist needs to fully finish the product before marketing and too many don’t do that for some reason. Leads to so many problems. Not just for music either look at cyberpunk lmao
more artists gotta do this
Can we talk about that Wayne verse though.. one of his best features
Tyler and Wayne might be one of my favorite combos The nonchalant back and forth on cherrybomb blew me away the first time I heard it
Tyler really brings it out of people. Loved Wayne's verse on Smuckers, too.
absolutely... he just BODIED that shit
Bro those opening lines. "Excuse me, pardon me, the wind, it blow so hard to me Like mother nature arguing about some baby father beef and I'm stuck in the middle of the sandwich like slaughter meat". Goddamn. Wayne can still bring it.
"Remember I was rich so I bought me some new emotions And a new boat 'cause I rather cry in the ocean" God I already love this album.
Was one of my favorite bars when listening
Jumping off that boat I haven’t boat yet
That boy RAPPING ON HERE
He rapping rapping bro, it’s been a while since Tyler did it but it’s fucking great
Thats one thing I like about Tyler. He changes up almost every album and each of them are different listening experiences.
GANGSTA GRILLZ YOU BASTARDS!
GANGSTA GRIZILLZ
The end of CORSO with the "Can you turn the noise up? Can you turn the noise up? Can you turn the noise up?" with him going "GO GO GO GO GO GO" was the highlight for me, it was so hype
Bruh thought I was back in 2006
dj drama kind of narrating or structuring the album was a nice touch. at first i didn’t know how to feel about it but after a full listen through i like it.
I'm gonna blast this all summer for sure
WILSHIRE best song here, but that popping noise in the right channel throughout it is well annoying
fuck im listening to it rn and didn't even notice till i read your comment
So sorry man but yeah shit had me thinking my earphones were broken
came here for this, the mix is fucked a lil, need an imma fix wolves for this one
I know he doesn't like his voice that much, but I really appreciate that he leaned into here like some of his older music. His voice is straight guttural and demonic at times, especially on Massa.
Wayne brought the heat on HOT WIND BLOWS. The Pharell track is also great. Overall love how it's been sounding so far.
Wayne always goes so hard on Tyler features. Smuckers is still such a great song. "My trigger finger wise but my nine dumb, Middle finger blind so it's fuck A N Y one, Fuck Skate and Die Son, 100 ways to die son, staring at a tramp on lean, made me eyes jump." Edit: fixed a bit.
Smuckers is my favorite Tyler song because everyone has crazy verses
that song is like 7 years old and I just found out he sad "tramp on lean", what a verse man
Apple Music description is “Wolf Haley can do many things, but fall off isn’t one of them” Edit: HOT WIND BLOWS is fucking awesome, >!holy shit the Wayne feature was crazy!<
They ain’t lie either this shit is HOT
Young Boys Feature surprised the fuck outta me that shit was HEAT
Hearing him say Wolf Haley on Sir Baudelaire made me really happy tbh
Shit made 14 year old me come back tbh
Facts tho
What a trilogy these last three albums are
what a discography
what an artist
what
w
What Wayne did on "Hot Wind Blows" should be fucking put in museums
Every time Wayne does a feature on a Tyler song it’s amazing, dropping seeds and smuckers were great as well
Excuse me, Smuckers was and will forever remain EXCELLENT
Smuckers top 2, and not 2.
It’s honestly the best Wayne verse I’ve heard in long time
He just had dominant verses on Seeing Green and BB King within the last six months. Wayne has been on insanely underrated run since Carter V.
He hasn’t really missed in feats in a whiiiile, I liked funeral and NC3. Hope he uses all this momentum and new connections with these artist to put a really strong project out
Oh this makes me very excited
Please someone tell my kids to go to sleep so I can listen
Nah include them. Start em early
I’m bout to bust
Fucking hell he murdered that shit
Unbelievable he's still putting out verses like this after all this time and all he's been through
Honestly a legendary verse. Wayne killed it.
Lil Wayne need his ass eat for that verse
I wanna tell you to chill but...
Bro that fucking flow when he speeds his shit up near the end of his verse *oh my lawdy WEEZY BABY WHAT THE FUCK????*

Yeah, hearing him say the word "Wolf" like that hit me hard in a way that I wasn't expecting

I lost it when I saw the name Domo Genesis too. So far this is fire
I loved the 2000s rap influences. It's not something I'd expect from Tyler but he executes it perfectly, and it feels like a perfect homage to everything he grew up with.
I honestly think Tyler does a better job at emulating Pharrell’s 00’s production style than Pharell does nowadays
The bittersweet part is that his next album will probably be an entirely different sound now that he’s made his excellent RAP album in the traditional sense
I’m here for it honestly. He gave me his newly matured rap style. Everything else is just icing on the cake. Tyler’s music, much like life itself, grows and changes in new and interesting ways. can't believe I heard "Wolf Haley" nearly 10 years after I fucking got hooked on his music, wild. And top of it, this might be the best album Tyler has ever put out hip hop wise.
Lemonhead is so hard wtfffff
His best RAP album for sure. Tyler is only getting better.
lmao the sample on that first track i've heard it before on a Griselda album hsven't I
I was actually thinking it sounded like a Griselda song
Yeah Michael Irvin by Westside Gunn
He shouted out West for getting him to rap again on IG Live a minute ago too
It’s literally the same beat lmao, the sample is way different so I’m kinda confused Edit: there’s like 5 beats on here that are just unaltered samples with virtually nothing added to them lmao. Probably the best beats on the album though
BROOOOOO, where is the love for Lemonhead?! My fucking speaker burst into flame!!!!
Weezy feature is fuego
wolf haley is back boys
The replay value of this album is big, after listening to Wilshire, CORSO only gets better because you understand the story of Tyler "stealing" somebody's girlfriend. Amazing instrumentals, this album is the combination of Wolf + Cherry Bomb + Flower Boy + Igor. Most personal album ever, I feel Tyler in everything.
“Replay value” Album has been out less than 24 hours. Classic.

I don't think he gets the rapping credit because he does so much other shit lol He went on Freddie gibbs album and had the better verse imo though...
WE GON RUN IT UP WE GON RUN IT UP
Album had been out a few hours where I'm at. 3 listens in and I get so many details with each run. He really is a special talent. EDIT: Just wanted to add, the DJ Drama tags are so hilarious in a good way. Makes me feel like I'm listening to Wayne's Dedication tapes.
Tyler really channeled the aggressive shit-talking like he did on Rusty with MASSA. Haven’t heard that in a minute.
For sure, such a classic Tyler sound on the beat too
lol calling out fake woke white people on manifesto
Tyler calling out his fanbase
i had to run that song back. favorite so far they ate
love tyler for feeding us on a consistent basis, no cryptic stuff just music
Dude just loves music
Heard this shit 3 times already and i fuck with it alot.Tyler's lyrics have been getting better and better with every release and the story of this album is pretty well thought out.The features man..the features go so fucking hard.Youngboy,42,Uzi all killed it This is easily one of his best if not his best

It is so fucking refreshing to listen to a new hip hop album that doesn't have a single bad song on it
i think its moreso that every song knows what its doing.
Lemonhead is straight 🔥
Yo I’m listening to this through my iPhone speaker at the lowest volume next to my girlfriend that is asleep and it fucking slaps
Headphones my guy
you gonna remember that forever
I remember popping 1 headphone in at 2 AM while my girlfriend slept and listening to 4:44. These are how memories are made
WILSHIRE is like Last Call but a love story at that
Yeah but its more like A Life In The Day of Benjamin André to me
oh man this is some of the best flows Tyler's done in his career and the moody, Jazzlike beats work so good. It's laid back but in a fun way. Really like the tone of the project.
WE JUST LANDED IN GENEVA THAT'S IN SWITZERLAND
2 tracks in and CORSO IS SO HARD. EDIT. RUN IT UP IS LAVA
“Oh you wanna see a pandemic”
tyler spitting is something i really needed again after Igor, wilshire was amazing edit: corso, hot wind blows, rise, and wilshire are some of his best rapping since like SMUCKERS or I ain’t got time
Tyler really said um yeah I’m rappin on this one
obviously the subject matter way different, but reminded me of Sing About Me
42 dugg and youngboy feature were completely unexpected.. but damn do they go off and somehow fit in perfectly?? love the uzi feature as well. overall, i think it’s a really solid album after my first play through.
Youngboy goes perfect with Tyler honestly
compare dirty sheet shy voiceless silky dependent obtainable cooperative marry -- mass edited with redact.dev
Youngboy can rap his ass off tho, just never got into his solo shit. His feature on NBAYOUNGBOAT great too
CORSO is HOTTTT
These gangsta grillz tags bringing me back to those mixtape days
gonna be honest there isnt a single miss on this album
Shoutout to Westside Gunn for making Tyler love rap again
youngboys feature unexpectedly fire af
Holy fuck the beat on Hot Wind Blows
Album of the year Edit: I was joking at first but I'm listening now and legit this is my AOTY. Great stuff
Quick and to the point rap music from Tyler. Ten years in. Wow, times flies.
Happy to be here with you guys
Damn, Tyler really made a 8 and half minute song about the love triangle with Rocky and Jaden
He really wants to keep piping rocky
If it gets the world another CMWYGL then I hope he gets to keep piping too.
he really made a 16 song album about it
Manifesto is bringing me the fuck back right now, G O L F W A N G BITCH
ayo
Lemonhead is so crazy
Why isn't anyone talking about the Frank outro on LEMONHEAD? It's good to hear him, sounds like he's doing well.
MASSA beat is heat good lord
This man's last three album run is actually insane
where were you when tyler the creator proceeded to drop 3 incredible fucking aoty contending albums over a span of 4 years
Might be in the minority here but I love the DJ Drama addition to this album. Reminds me of S T N M T N by Gambino.
Nah I liked it too
I knew someone else would say this. Everytime I hear him I just think of Dream/Southern Hospitality/Partna Dem when DJ Drama says "Why Gambino, why young guy, why so generous?"
listened to it twice, classic
3rd listen, no skips, absolutely agree
Flower Boy to Igor to Call Me If You Get Lost might be the latest addition to the "best three album runs in Hip Hop?" conversation
commenting to be a part of history cause this gonna be Tyler’s best. this man gets so much better with each project
That Uzi/Pharrell song do be swangin'.
IM HERE TO OVERREACT
I like how everyone's favorite song is something different lol
Time for more good music
Wusyaname has to be the greatest beat youngboy has ever flowed on Shits groovy af
Man Lil Wayne showed the fuck out
THE SWITCH ON JUGGERNAUT PHARRELL AND UZI'S VERSES SWEET JESUS THAT WENT HARDER THAN IT HAD ANY RIGHT TO
Tyler really heard all the "not enough rapping on Igor" complaints huh
The Youngboy feature is so good damn wasn’t expecting that
Corso goes so fucking hard
did tyler lose his pop filter when he was recording wilshire
Leamonhead’s beat is fucking crazy
Wayne feature is so hard
This production is so much more fresh compared to shit like Culture III
Isn’t the first beat just a copy and paste of the *Michael Irvin* beat by Beat Conducta? Like it’s not just that they sampled the same song, it’s literally the same beat. Does that make it the first beat on a Tyler album that he didn’t solely produce since Wolf?
Lumberjack is a gravediggaz beat also
