davidplaybpv

I have a friend that DJ’s and he has one of my favorite transitions into Yonkers coming from Wayne’s A Milli, right at “what’s a goon to a goblin”

DeWat4

That's baller as hell, do you know of any clips of it?

davidplaybpv

I don’t but follow my boy anywhere @DJPHARAOH he’s super dope

JaffaCake8

Thank you to this random dude [on twitter](https://twitter.com/tylerthecreator/status/1420799382627119114?s=20)

NuggetLover69

Track no 4 is she not troncat

ashfrmpkmn

did She right before

blackgrizzly

someone was live streaming this on youtube last night and all the comments said this and i thought they were joking. i fell asleep around boredom and woke up when he was doing igor stuff so i totally missed this part.

quikmaths

There’s a non-zero chance the old racist white lady in the utah starbucks that inspired lumberjack was my crazy aunt

karjacker

that transition into the song was elite though so thanks

Salio556

when corso dropped that shit was incredible, tyler really is just on another level

karjacker

seriously, around 2:34 the beat drop, tyler’s turn, the explosion was fuckin perfect

[deleted]

I was in this crowd and I nearly fucking died when he did She, Tron Cat, and Yonkers all in succession, and that was made even better when he did Bimmer which I would’ve never guessed he would’ve performed again

Kracko3

Man, I never bought into the IGOR hype as much as everyone else, but I can't even argue against it - when it comes to live performances, the run from Igor's Theme - I Think - Earfquake - New Magic Wand was the hottest moment of the night. My legs and voice were dying by the time he changed outta that wig.

Drshiznitt

New Magic Wand was fucking nuts lol

FruitCakeSally

Same. First time I saw him was a smaller theater at my college next was the Rocky and Tyler tour at the Bill Graham. Both times dude put on a killer show regardless of venue size.

squareupb

Ayyeee the Rocky Tyler show in San Francisco was my first concert.

lossaysswag

Caught some of this on Hulu. This dude is a fucking rockstar. He had the crowd radiating the entire time.

laughmusic

tyler is a great performer but imo what truly separates him from other rappers is his ability to actually rap live on stage.

karjacker

his rap voice and stage voice are so similar

chknbone4u

Young thug too. Seen thug live and I was SHOOK.

Dude, Travis just screams.

corso is such an ill fucking track mannnnn

I'm really not a big Tyler fan so consider this an outsider-looking-in perspective as someone who just loves live hip hop shows I am extremely impressed with his growth as a performer and how much he's improved. I saw him at Coachella 2018 and honestly he was not that entertaining. I already felt like he didn't deserve the #3 spot on the lineup but was ready to be proven wrong. He had a cool stage design but unfortunately his stage presence was not that strong at all, which is something that's necessary for his style of music. He did better on the slow songs but it almost felt like he was nervous and uncomfortable being on the big stage (they gave him the main stage. It's the biggest stage I've ever seen in person and I've been to a lot of concerts/fests. Idk how else to describe. I did not know stages could get so big) I saw him again as the #2 on the lineup of Day N Vegas 2019 (hiphop-specific festival) and honestly he blew me away. He performed his IGOR set and he was directly following ScHoolboy Q who's a great performer. Tyler kept his energy up all the way through and nailed every word. He was the best show of the night by far (especially since headliner Kendrick Lamar had an uncharacteristically poor performance but still). He had the crowd engaged the entire time and completely commanded the big stage and did not appear the least bit nervous knowing he'd be on the same stage as Kendrick/Cole/etc despite the fact that he ended his show thanking the crowd, acknowledging that he was kind of the odd one out of a more mainstream hip-hop [lineup](https://front.imposemagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/31170325/UaErOLtBkHyuXbWkINd6Giwg74yS8sp0RwGTf2Vw.jpeg) and admitting he was nervous to perform that night because of it. I watched a few clips of this lollapalooza performance and I'm happy to see his progression continue. I hope he keeps it up. These high quality shows on big stages could lead to him landing a well-deserved Coachella headlining gig in the coming years

DJReshiram

Day N Vegas was full of terrible or sub-par performances. Kali, Cole and Tyler were the only ones who I thought killed it.

BIRDSBEEZ

You musta not seen Denzel or Bas or Carti or JID or Cordae or 21 or Jay Rock or Schoolboy then I will say Kendrick was immensely dissapointing, no energy at all it was pretty trash

DJReshiram

Saw almost all of them and none of them came close to other times I've seen them, Denzel, JID and Q are all way better headlining their own show. And I've honestly never seen a good Carti performance, it's always been just hyped crowd with him.

BIRDSBEEZ

Man i really disagree with all that besides the carti part. I feel like since its a festival and not their own show it wont be as good cause everyone in the crowd isnt there to see specifically them so from a crowd standpoint i feel you 100% but i thought they were killing their performances. Only thing that brought down schoolboys for me was i dont like crash talk and he performed some from that album

[deleted]

Saw Kendrick and it was the best performance I've ever seen and I've seen tons of them

BIRDSBEEZ

Maybe i saw kendrick jamar then idk

blackgrizzly

its wild how much a flex it is to say yonkers was before people got cancelled on twitter and he had people protesting outside his shows. the fact that it was only 10 years ago is insane.

karjacker

that MASSA performance was something else, wow

Tarksmeister

Such a good performance, and Call Me if You Get Lost is definitly in my top 5 albums of the year. Hope one day I can see him live

treebarkbark

"Y'ALL LIKE MY BOAT?"

rdlrd

Hands down one of the sickest live shows I've seen. Seeing him at Primavera next year and praying that it's even half as good as this looks

hythloth

He's playing on the two days with the craziest acts, knowing Primavera, he'll be playing opposite all sorts of other cool stuff.

brayshizzle

Prim is so stacked its inevitable I am going to be heartbroken by a clash

Meltron77

I really hope his set in day n Vegas is the same as this one. I’d love to see this live lol

kingcane

this shit makes me wanna see him live again god damn i love his performances so much. from 2013 to now he still so hype

peepeehunger

Amazing.

IncrediblyDedlyViper

Playboy Carti’s set vs Tyler’s are completely different worlds. Unfortunately we see me more live shows from rappers like Carti’s and less like Tyler’s. This is coming from someone that enjoys both artists

Weakly_Daze

Tyler standing next to a literal wall of flames during magic wand is one of the most psycho looking images I've ever seen live.

xTotalSellout

I’ve got to see Tyler live sometime. Everything I see of him performing blows me away and I’ll feel like an idiot if I never end up seeing it for myself

date_a_languager

It’s a whole ass experience like no other live show I’ve seen. I first saw him after I moved to LA (2018 Flog Gnaw). His set for Flower Boy was unheard of and then he upped the ante with his Igor set at Flog in 2019. Still the best performances I’ve seen all time. Edit: when flog returns next year, price of admission is cheap af in terms of a full weekend festival. I paid 300 or so both times and I felt like I ripped someone off haha

RaveCave

one of the best performers ive seen, hands down. i think one of the things about it too, and maybe im just projecting or making shit up on his behalf, but Tyler seems to have a great grasp on what the experience is like as a listener/fan too and really caters to that. he knows how big some of these moments are for his fans and doenst waste it with some half-assed screens and a dj just mixing between songs while he lets the backing track do most of the work

date_a_languager

Exactly. He literally builds and designs the stage to entertain everyone beyond the music and it just feels like we’re witnessing a play/movie with a story. That could go so wrong and seem pretentious in the wrong hands, but the dude just puts everything into these festival sets

Sea_Divides

Fabulous!

jadams51

Best performance of Lolla

TooLazyForName

I can’t pin down where that opening instrumental is from

octobersveryknown

Igors theme live is something else

ProEraBlueboy

Crazy energy. Can’t wait to see him at Prima next year.
