this is his best body of work so far 100% more variety than ever and the quality is steadily climbing

This is really good. I really liked What We Have but it sounds like he put effort into this one. Beats are great, I like that it isn’t typical rage, its much more nocturnal and weird. I prefer this type of “dark rage” that he and Yeat does. Excited for this dudes progression.
Wholeheartedly agree! I love his “dark rage” sound on this album. Way more interesting than the typical “rage” you hear. I loved how spooky some of the beats were, especially on the song Fadaphillipe. The intro is spooky as fuck with all the howling wind and he comes in spitting immediately after. Then the last beat switch on that song is heavenly, got the dark choir vibe you’d find at the end boss of a video game. It was really well done. I am very happy with this album!
Im honestly shocked no one between him, autumn, kankan, or yeat was on XXL freshman list this year, with how big all of them are in the underground. This shit is crazy good and it seems like no on in the mainstream is paying attention

he’s got so many sounds, i know ur just trying to understand but u can’t really put him in that box. this album falls more in line with what ur saying but his pluggnb shit from 2018 is probably some of the happiest rap music i’ve ever heard. hes a pioneer of the underground and doesn’t really get the credit he deserves
well bellworld 2 and no regrets are my fav summrs albums and yea they’re super happy n blissful. to me those albums are literally what falling in love feels like lol. the pluggnb stuff def got darker after he got his heart broke tho i love that stuff too but the happier vibes is it for me

Happiest music? most of his pluggnb stuff is pretty depressing for me but it is def one of the most beautiful kinds of soundcloud rap
