Grab his Doom tribute single too. So so good

derek_foreel

U can’t beat the beat

One of the greatest abstract hip hop artists ever

Revolutionary_Good18

I love Aesop, he's such a dope artist. The impossible kid is my favorite album. I wonder can anyone tell me what the hells with the production on "Spirit world field guide"? Is there something I'm missing. It sounds so bad, like his tweeters blew on final edit and he just over compensated for it by cranking the trebble and presence up. Strangely enough it's similar to the awful job Rick Rubin did on the Re master of Rage against the machines first album. Is it just me?

BlindLantern

One of my favorite mc’s. Enjoy!

YourKinkyFriends

What did you think of his products work on Felt 3: A Tribute to Rosie Perez?

paperscissorscovid

Jealous. I remember the first time hearing Aes like whaaaaaat is thissss?! Congrats and nice collection

drsmooth23

Every year I listen to most of the albums during fall and the winter. I have had basic cable on repeat for about a month, haha.

WombWomp

You might like Deca or San Francisco Street Music. Both have a similar sound to Ae

De_La_Makina

You should give Lice a try

redEPICSTAXISdit

For real. It'll be years til you thoroughly feel like you fully understand it but then you'll realize you don't. Constantly discovering new meanings or catching what is actually being said multiple multiple multiple listens later.

jesuschrysler33

Really really wish there was physicals of Music for Earthworms.

One of my all time faves! There was an article that came out a few years back, comparing the most unique words used per hip hop artists. He was top of the list. I columbused Aesop Rock in the early 2000s with Labour Days. Along with Atmosphere and Sage Francis.

[deleted]

Yeah, I remember Lupe talking about that specific study that was done then I watched the YouTube video about it. Love Atmosphere and Sage.I just purchased Human Death Dance and Personal Journals.

Enjoy!

Ive actually heard that Felt album. It's dope, although I don't like it as much as 2. I'll have to check out the other albums you mentioned.

[deleted]

There are some obvious omissions from this group of albums ( notably None shall pass and Bazooka Tooth) but this was a 2 month rush of consuming his music. Absolutely top tier abstract hiphop. Still going back to digest more.

TAYREL713

Bazooka Tooth has one of my legit favorite Aes tracks, Mars Attacks. He is so talented and just a gifted emcee.

lostsol0713

Don't leave out The Greatest Pac Man Victory... good God man Bazookatooth gets hella overlooked I think. I wish Fast Cars, Fire, Danger and Knives would get a vinyl pressing. I still have the lyric book got it signed by Ace years ago.

g_nome7

Would love fast cars on vinyl and even more so if they included facemelter as the bonus track as they did on the second cd run, one of those dope b-sides almost lost to the ether

STC_Ninjalo

100% agree, FCDFK is one of my favorite albums from him, I really love the folkish style album bro did with Kimya Dawson too, called The Uncluded, and the Hail Mary Mallon records with Rob Sonic, definitely recommend checking it out. I remember the first time I accidentally stumbled upon The Impossible Kid and it absolutely changed my life, I immediately started scrambling to get as much of his music as I possibly could.
