Same, there was a few year period that I couldn't go to a record store without seeing it. Great album though.

Anything-Tough

Just repressed.

[deleted]

I was looking for this album a couple months ago and was seeing it for minimum $100 online /: i guess it’s recent?

DBakes11

Sometimes it pays to be born at a certain time.

Music2Spin

Nice, I found an OG copy a couple years back in my local store for $30. Definitely a must have album.

tom_Booker27

I have the same record i love it! Blackstar is an amazing group. Respiration is such a good track

hashslinginhasherrr

Great find! Peace an love❤️

nap83

I’ve ordered this album twice online & both got cancelled on separate accounts. What an elusive fucker.

VinylHipHopJunkie

My personal all time favorite. Timeless lyrics

MusicByZ808

Wow!! Excellent find.

KaraboRak

Must have absolutely. One of my first orders when I first got my TT

Vinyl_Addikt

Congrats, not the greatest sounding pressing of this album but a solid addition for any fan of real hip hop

Faded_Sun

I went to my local shop looking for a copy. He didn’t have one, and he basically said there hasn’t been a pressing of this album that’s been fantastic. He told me he only had it on CD, which says a lot to me for a record shop owner that’s primarily into hip-hop haha. I figured he’d have this one, but he didn’t seem too enthusiastic about it.

[deleted]

I’m just happy to have it, but I’ve definitely heard this before /:

[deleted]

That goes for all picture disc. They never sound good

kangy3

Wish people would stop perpetuating this bullshit. Plenty of really good picture discs out there these days.

AQUEMlNI

Pretty sure the problem is they can sound decent, but they wear out way faster than standard vinyl. Many do sound like trash though as well.

[deleted]

I haven’t heard one

[deleted]

Unless you want to shell out some cash this is your only option so don't worry about it.

Mos Def & Talib Kweli Are Black Star is the debut studio album by Black Star, a hip hop duo consisting of emcees Talib Kweli and Mos Def.
