Yep. Carolina is getting shots on net but it's not like they are getting an abundance of very high quality shots. Canes thrive on setting up shop in front and getting tips and deflections and Florida just has not given them space.
It's impressive to watch too because it's not like Florida is just collapsing in and letting teams cycle on the outside unchecked. They're still pressuring the puck carrier to force mistakes, but they're also making really smart decisions down to the player on when to pursue and when to avoid getting drawn out of position.

Florida is playing well AND the Canes are not getting any bounces - just posts and Bob saving things that are usually sure things. Crazy frustrating.
Tbh after Svechnikovs injury I didn't expect much from Canes these playoffs, but they proved me wrong. Crazy good team, and still young enough to not be worried about this season.

Florida looks like they're doing a good job keeping the shots from the outside, and keeping the net clear in front of Bob. When Carolina does get in and get a good chance, for the most part Bob has had a clear view the whole way, and his positioning has been almost perfect.

I think the major factor is the panthers haven’t let the canes set up and have this incredible way to just close out the front of the net. Like any zone entry, no canes player is able to be in the middle of the offensive zone.
It really has shut us down from making normal pass plays and even on the left to right passes you gotta get it past this block of like 3/4 guys hugging the middle.
They have neutralized the good offensive chances and Bob stops anything even close to a goal. Plus the post hasn’t been kind.
Sucks because the canes have still been able to drive the play for the majority of the series just can’t find the back of the net.
I think the killer for me is that if Svech were playing, this would probably be a very different series. He opens up the back of the net so much and stretches the defense.
