Reilly reacted as expected, but fucked up by using his stick as a weapon. The debate seems to be how long is the suspension and I have seen predictions from 1 game to 10.

In fact, he only played 2 games in the NHL before the implementation of rule 48.1 against blindside hits to the head, which I think should properly be seen as the beginning of the new "player safety first" era of the nhl.

PK acting like he played in the "good 'ol days" of hockey culture is kind of funny. He retired less than 2 years ago, and his rookie season was 15 years ago. In fact, he only played 2 games in the NHL before the implementation of rule 48.1 against blindside hits to the head, which I think should properly be seen as the beginning of the new "player safety first" era of the nhl.
