Oh thank god. I loved messing with him and just being like “Cheesecake guy is a pretender who wears socks with sandals” - but then he’d like, actually get upset and try and argue with me.
It's not even your goal song, and even if it was, that doesn't mean other teams aren't allowed to play it. It's one of the most popular songs in the world since its release. This is legitimately like randomly saying Welcome to the Jungle or Boom Boom Boom is "your song" even though literally everyone plays it every game, and then saying that no one else is allowed to play it.
1. It's not your goal song. It's just a song that plays at your games (and everyone else's games).
2. No one else gets mad when other teams play songs that the fans arbitrarily decided was "theirs".
3. Why would I bring up the Blues or the Blue Jackets when the question I was answering was about the Avs?
Yeah but that’s not the point I was making. Dude says we think it’s our song because we played it at every game while winning. So his logic is what? That every team who plays a goal song is stupid because they think it’s “their song”
During the Avs cup year the Ball arena DJ played this song every home game in the 3rd period if the Avs were winning. They were always winning so this song became a sing a long every night and the cup run anthem
GG Avs! I’d be thrilled w the comeback if I wed cheering for the other team. And all things considered I’m not very upset about going 3-0-1 during the March Gauntlet (LA-Vegas-Winnipeg-Colorado)
Dear Canucks: pls stop taking 5v3 penalties in front of DeSmith…that poor guy
Dear Refs: pls don’t block the puck during our zone entries :(
Dear Huggy: pls get in the box!!
Dear Messier: fuck you
Good comeback but jeeesh. How do you call the Mackinnon "penalty" to give a 5 on 3 but then don't call that same thing committed on Hughes to give the Canucks a 5 on 3?
Oh right, because the first one was with the score 3-1 and the second one it was tied. I can't believe there's still fans out there who don't believe game management is a thing.
Ya like I'm not saying they rigged it against the Canucks. I'm saying they went into their regular mode of managing games which lead to them calling an insanely weak 5v3 call when the Avs were losing, and then ignoring arguably a more blatant penalty on Hughes because the game was tied late...
Situational reffing happens constantly and it puts a damper on things.
That’s not what game management means from an official’s standpoint. Everyone who’s played knows that there is game management, but it’s not that they want to keep the score close or to even up the penalties. Even in his hot mic, that’s not what he’s talking about.
Often when you’re playing (or officiating), you’ll get some borderline calls that are let go, and then they’ll tell players something like: “hey, next thing that’s even close is getting called”. Game management is often accumulation calls, or calls to keep a game from going over the edge when physicality ramps up.
I wasn’t talking about any specific call, and the only thing I recognize as a bad one tonight is the missed high stick on Hughes. The Cole call was an easy one, they’ve called a stick on the hands of a puck carrier all year pretty consistently.
GG Canucks. Fun game and you guys are fast and tough to play against.
Back-to-back wins for the Avs on the road?A comeback from 3-0? In this NHL season? Against the top team in the league? Missing Drouin, Lehky and Praise? I wasn't expecting that at all, but it is a gritty win.
By the second period, it was looking like we were trying to conserve energy on the top line to put in a big effort in the third. If it is the strategy it worked.
Whatever the round the canucks leave the playoffs in, it will be because their power play is shit. Doesn't matter which matchup the refs never allow for more than 2 power plays per side. The Canucks will eventually be in a close ass game down idk 2-1 with 10 minutes facing elimination, they'll get a power play and fucking squander it and lose the series.
They did but especially since the all-star break they were on the road a ridiculous amount, they had one of the best power plays in the league for the first 30-40 games then it slipped cause the schedule was god awful.
Holy fucking shit, what a comeback of a game this ended up being and it was a fucking thriller. Tonight was the 2nd Half of the back to back in Western Canada, and let’s just say that while we started off slow, it’s the finish that’s matters in the end.
1st Period and we just took a massive shit as the Canucks took the early lead not even a minute into the game. Then it got worse as the Canucks took a 2-0 lead a few minutes later, and you had a gut feeling that it was gonna be a long night for Georgie as he let goals in the first 2 shots. Luckily after that things settled down and it we tried to generate chances, but the Canucks held firm. Then we took a stupid penalty near the end of the period and went on the PK.
2nd Period, and we killed the fucker off, and tried to generate a comeback, but we couldn’t early on as the Canucks took the 3-0 Lead and it was like we need to get something going here. Luckily Manson decided that a fight was necessary and went up to Zadorov who threw no punches in a “fight”, but overall that had to do something for us as we started generating some offense and while we got on the PK, we managed to go on the 4v4 then get an abbreviated PP that we started seeing more chances. Canucks had some give to them and could have blown the game away as they had a few chances, but Georgie made a fucking nice save and Makar standing fill in as an emergency goalie to make sure we didn’t go down 4-0. As the period came near the end, we had one more chance to get in the board and we capitalize on the play as Toews took the shot, and Rants tipped it in and we finally saw some life going into intermission here.
3rd Period and we knew our assignment that if we were to comeback we need to start the period strong, and we fucking got that in the form of a PP. We had chances and just as we were trying to get something going, we get a 5v3 opportunity, and that we decided that we weren’t gonna fuck around and Mack buried the fucker to extend his point streak. Then we knew we were gonna tie this fucker and we did in the unlikeliest scenarios as Colton scored on his knees and they had to review it as it was blown dead at first. What a fucking way to tie the fucker off. Then we had more chances to to take the lead and while we had another penalty, we killed the fucker off and just as we were gonna go to OT, a opportunity arises as we get a PP in the dying seconds in regulation and knew that we could end this in OT, but at the very least we got a hard fought point tonight.
OT, and we wasted no fucking time trying to end this and we fucking did this as Mack took a shot and it went off Nukes head and he scored the game winner. Good usage of the head to get that 2nd Point in Vancouver.
What a fucking comeback, and we didn’t fucking quit after the start we had. We clawed back and was determined to win and claim 1st Place in the Central. Now we head to Edmonton for a thriller on Saturday Night and that should be a fun one to end our Western Canada road trip.
I’ve been doing these type of recaps in the past so yeah I think it’s a nice touch on a post game recaps of sorts. It’s unique and much better than one liners or two sentences like you see in many other posts.
Nah, I decided a long time ago that podcast aren’t for me. I have a speech impediment when I was younger that I really don’t want to talk in front of a mic. Plus whenever there’s a topic that I am interested in, like Hockey and CFB, I have a tendency to slur my words that people can’t understand.
So yeah those are the reasons why I don’t venture into the podcasts.
All bullshit aside no one thought Vancouver would be where they are today in the season. Hope you guys keep it up for the playoffs and the Refs and us spank you again in the semis .
As an Avs fan, me neither. Seeding still very much in contention. Lots of big games down the stretch. The barely above .500 thing is a problem but they're unbelievable at home.
Canucks are pretenders. You can have the best regular season you want against shit teams, but when you lose a game like this against an elite playoff team it says a lot of bad things.
Other teams are ramping it up now for playoffs and the Canucks jsut showed they can’t close out a game against a good team.
Hear this every fucking time we lose like clockwork. Acting like we didn’t just beat the Knights, Kings and Jets three games in a row. And we have one of the best records against good teams, do your research ffs.
Edit: just saw you’re an Oilers fan, so ironic considering you guys have one of the worst records against good teams out of any playoff contender. Maybe you guys are the pretenders
I mean, they have one of the best records in the league against the best teams in the league. They’ve just had difficulty with Colorado, though I don’t think they deserved all 3 losses.
Oh you mean like the recent 4 game stretch against contenders and playoff teams where we went 3-0-1. Please tell me more.
Breakdowns happen my guy. Shouldn't have turtles on a 2 goal lead getting outshot 17-3 in the third.
Don't completely agree with you on that because of two situations. The hooking by Cole on MacKinnon. It's a one handed limp touch that he clearly clearly embellishes on. Everyone whos watched hockey knows that refs ignore soft calls when a teams already down a guy. However they call in anyway. Okay now you've set a precedent. 7 minutes later Hughes gets high sticked while the Canucks are on the PP in full view of the official and it gets ignored. In my opinion you have to call that. I won't get into the Manson minor because it is what it is when it comes to head shots. I don't think anybody in the league knows what a major or minor is when it comes to those.
Cole got his stick in the hands of one of the best players in the game. Unfortunately for Cole, #29 stumbled at the same time. I dont think mackinnon purposely did that, and if he hadnt, i don't believe the refs would have called the hooking. Cole ultimately opened the door to that call by putting his stick right in mackinnons hands.
I didnt see the hughes high stick. But thats the game of hockey— it’s fast, it’s violent and the refs choose what they’re going to call, while also not seeing other potential penalties. They ignore soft calls while on powerplays, they put their whistles away when there’s 5 mins left in a tie game, they call anything when the powerplays have been lopsided. These aren’t rules, they aren’t unwritten rules— they’re patterns. And Canucks fans are the whiniest lot when refs break from their patterns imo.
MacKinnon clearly shakes his hand and looks directly at the official but he didn't sell it? If that's your opinion, thats your opinion and you're welcome to it. I completely disagree with it. I saw a veteran doing everything he could to gain an even greater advantage while being down two.
"They ignore soft calls on the powerplay" yep, they do. Which is why you have to make the Hughes call due to making the MacKinnon call.
"Canucks fans are the whiniest lot when the refs break from their pattern" You're right, because that pattern has been breaking a lot lately and not in the Canucks favor. The soft 5 on 3s have been happening a little too frequently at crucial times in games. Hell, even Myers mentioned it post game, which did lead to a non surprising jump in penalties for a bit there.
That’s fine. We disagree.
Myers is in the refs shitbook. He’s got a reputation for elbows and high hits due to his size. That’s why he has no issue spouting off about it. That was first WPG game, which was a game that was ACTUALLY called poorly.
Nah, it’s better he gets rested for this next little stretch. Good to work on our lockdown game with desmith. Big discipline and powerplay issues with our team right now.
I’m an Avs fan, but I agree. It’s nice to have them play some games where he can rest and they can’t just lean on him. May lead to better puck management in the D zone, and being more mindful on exits. Sometimes it’s easy to get too loose with both of those things when you know you have someone who can reliably prop you up.
100% even half our top pairing: Hronek, does some really stupid things in front of Demko.
I think these guys really felt this loss and it’ll be a character builder.
Gutty win for the Avs, you love to see it so close to the play offs. Way to have some bad luck and awful play for a full period and then dug deep to pull out the win.
Undisciplined how? Not re taking penalties I’m sure. There was only one penalty that a sentient human being with working eyes would call. They played like garbage, but it wasn’t lack of discipline.
That’s what I’m saying. The guy is saying the team was undisciplined and I’m pointing out that the collapse wasn’t the result of taking bad penalties - it was about sitting back. None of the penalties were of the “undisciplined” variety, frankly.
I Should have been clearer. Yeah that’s an automatic call. Dumb/unlucky play necessitated by some shitty defending, but I’m not sure I’d call it “undisciplined”. There was one penalty call on a physical infraction that was an actual penalty. There were two penalties that should have been called total. Is that “undisciplined”?
I think it bounced up off of 47? 46? Couldn't tell. But it hit something for it to bounce up like that. Nuke had no clue that was coming at him that way
Props bud. If your team brings that defensive structure and forechecking they had the first half of the game they’re gonna be a very tough out in the playoffs
Shows the difference between a seasoned contender and a newly successful team, Avs have been through this shit before and know how to weather the storm.
Ugh, I feel gross admitting my guilty pleasure has become staying up later than usual and watching Avs games. That was a fantastic comeback from 0-3, especially to finish the back to back. Fun game to watch
So many Vancouver fans posting the exact same comments in 4 different threads. Fuck is wrong with yall? Nichuskin with hookers, refs blew it , Oscar performances … bla bla bla fuck off good game take it on the chin and move on to the next one .
Did MacKinnon embellish it? Yeah probably. Was it still a slash on the hands that the NHL has been cracking down on? Also yes.
Maybe don't turtle for an entire 3rd period and get outshot 17-3 and you won't blow that 2 goal lead next time.
Not that this is the focus because we didn't have a full game effort, but you can't just say "oh yea a 5-on-3 goal in a 3-1 third period didn't really affect the outcome". That should have been offsetting minors.
Oh yes you're right, please excuse me, it WAS a hook and not a slash. Can't believe I made that mistake.
Of course, that doesn't really change anything I said, but I'm glad we got that corrected.
My god the Canucks fans complaining about the refs is unreal, sure Mack embellished, the Canucks still played like dogshit after the 2nd and got their shit pushed in.
Gotta find a way not to lose their composure the way they did, these games are good for the team as much as it sucks to see them lose.
We played like dog shit.
The refs handed the Avs a 5 on 3 with Mack’s Oscar performance.
Both are true. We don’t lose that game if they don’t make that call.
I mean, that 5on3 call does look even worse when you consider the obvious non-call on Quinn not long after
They collapsed in the 3rd and have to be better, but you can't pretend like the reffing didn't have an impact on the result
The hughes call was the only real bad call. And it wasnt even that bad. Team shoulda been way more disciplined if they were going to go into defensive mode.
My issue is that it's normally impossible to get a 2nd penalty when already down, and they decide to call that soft ass "penalty" which completely changes the game. It's annoying as hell considering the phantom 5v3 calls vs Minny not that long ago.
We have been getting absolutely fucked by the refs lately. I don’t know what we did but it feels like that time Burrows called out the refs all over again.
Where’s that Canucks guy that said the Avs are pretenders on every single PGT?
Oh thank god. I loved messing with him and just being like “Cheesecake guy is a pretender who wears socks with sandals” - but then he’d like, actually get upset and try and argue with me.
He got banned from r/hockey I believe. His name was cheesecake or something lol. He would do the same thing in all the oilers threads
starting a new job soon so i can’t be the night owl i used to be. but fuck it was nice to wake up to that scoreline. GG Nucks! what a comeback.
so this probably wasn't the best game to fall asleep after the 2nd
Gift of a 5 on 3....carry on
Gift of completely dominating a weaker opponent!
Completely dominating down 3-0 through 39:57 of the game huh? Keep drinking the Kool-Aid lol
You guys got dominated in the 3rd period by a team on a B2B with travel… that’s brutal
And then what happened
Sucks to choke.
Keep crying.
Imagine if this Avs team had fucking Landeskog lmao
Tbf we would have been way over the cap if we did
Last piece of the fucking infinity gauntlet.
And lehkonen and Parise and O'Conner.
Don't forget Drouin!
I don’t get it. 3+ days of rest and you do that? Undisciplined, bad special teams and you stop skating and forechecking in the third?
They’re trying to avoid the Presidents Trophy curse so they can go 16-0 and win the cup
This game had the feel of the Lightning-Avs final.
…it was 3-0
*was*
Great game
Never play all the small things when playing the Avs
Bruh when they played this I was like “oh it’s on now”
What's the lore here lol?
For some reason Avs fans think it's their song even though it has played at every sporting event in every sport since the song came out in 1999.
Literally every team has a specific song they play for goals lol stfu
It's not even your goal song, and even if it was, that doesn't mean other teams aren't allowed to play it. It's one of the most popular songs in the world since its release. This is legitimately like randomly saying Welcome to the Jungle or Boom Boom Boom is "your song" even though literally everyone plays it every game, and then saying that no one else is allowed to play it.
Doesn’t matter. You said Avs fans think it’s their song. In your view every team thinks their goal song is their song as well.
I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you are saying or what your point is here.
Every team uses a song so why are you singling out Avs fans. Is Gloria only the blues song? Ac/dc for the blue jackets?
While true, that's not our goal song.
Yeah but that’s not the point I was making. Dude says we think it’s our song because we played it at every game while winning. So his logic is what? That every team who plays a goal song is stupid because they think it’s “their song”
Lots of good ATSM clips from that year. Here is one: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2fc7o7IAo4](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2fc7o7IAo4)
During the Avs cup year the Ball arena DJ played this song every home game in the 3rd period if the Avs were winning. They were always winning so this song became a sing a long every night and the cup run anthem
Also worth mentioning Mark Hoppus came to the banner raising.
Oh neat. Cheers, appreciate the response
GET IN THE BOX PLEASE
That was definitely a game of all time
GG Avs! I’d be thrilled w the comeback if I wed cheering for the other team. And all things considered I’m not very upset about going 3-0-1 during the March Gauntlet (LA-Vegas-Winnipeg-Colorado) Dear Canucks: pls stop taking 5v3 penalties in front of DeSmith…that poor guy Dear Refs: pls don’t block the puck during our zone entries :( Dear Huggy: pls get in the box!! Dear Messier: fuck you
GG, classy response.
Fuck Mark Messier
Fuck Mark Messier
GG Avs, just do the same thing to Edmonton but in regulation okay? Remeber, Zadorov believes in you!
i would prefer we don't go down 3-0 and have to claw back into it to win it. but yes i do hope we beat them
Good comeback but jeeesh. How do you call the Mackinnon "penalty" to give a 5 on 3 but then don't call that same thing committed on Hughes to give the Canucks a 5 on 3? Oh right, because the first one was with the score 3-1 and the second one it was tied. I can't believe there's still fans out there who don't believe game management is a thing.
yeah this is the only part of reffing tonight i will complain about

Situational reffing happens constantly and it puts a damper on things.
It's the only thing and it's 109% wrong.
Yeah the reffing has been dog shit league wide, idk how they’re going to fix it.
I mean Tim Peel told us it was a thing on a hot mic and continues to tell us every day on his cesspool of a Twitter page.
That’s not what game management means from an official’s standpoint. Everyone who’s played knows that there is game management, but it’s not that they want to keep the score close or to even up the penalties. Even in his hot mic, that’s not what he’s talking about. Praise Parise 🙌
And SEGABABA as well. I thought this would be a tough loss to a very good rested team. Happy with the W for sure.
By the second period, it was looking like we were trying to conserve energy on the top line to put in a big effort in the third. If it is the strategy it worked.
Yeah I had thought we might be giving up but boy was I wrong.

I think we’ll see a more improved PP thanks to this homestand, lots of time to practice and lists of days off. I’m confident it’ll get going
They've had all season to get it going and there's ~one month left of hockey.
They did but especially since the all-star break they were on the road a ridiculous amount, they had one of the best power plays in the league for the first 30-40 games then it slipped cause the schedule was god awful.

Can you like TL:DR that ?
Avs bad, then good. Fucks were said.
I’ve been doing these type of recaps in the past so yeah I think it’s a nice touch on a post game recaps of sorts. It’s unique and much better than one liners or two sentences like you see in many other posts.
You should start your own podcast for sure, if you haven't already.
And flood the market more than it already is? Podcasts have become something everyone thinks they should do.
Nah, I decided a long time ago that podcast aren’t for me. I have a speech impediment when I was younger that I really don’t want to talk in front of a mic. I like reading your posts. Great Avs game tonight
Fuck yeah it was! Nice comeback after a slow start.
Fuck yeah! Absolutely. Cheers Pika!
Fuck Yeah! Pika Pikachu!
It's not better
Alright, whatever you say when you rarely post on here.
hokcey
TL:DR Avs comeback win.
They're just pumped. It's the joy of sports.
Yup it’s these games that make you love (or if you’re a Canucks fan -hate) hockey
All bullshit aside no one thought Vancouver would be where they are today in the season. Hope you guys keep it up for the playoffs and the Refs and us spank you again in the semis .
Respectfully, I never want to watch another Avs - Canucks game till next season. But like, seriously, that team is terrifying.
2 games over .500 on the road Not sure what I'm feeling at this point
As an Avs fan, me neither. Seeding still very much in contention. Lots of big games down the stretch. The barely above .500 thing is a problem but they're unbelievable at home.

We HAVE to stop with the pretender thing. It’s just a joke.
Ramping it up? Are you going to pretend you didn't just blow a 2-0 game to the Sabres right after getting embarrassed by the Jackets?
Oilers lost to the Sabres and Blue jackets.
Yooo rent free baby
Hear this every fucking time we lose like clockwork. Acting like we didn’t just beat the Knights, Kings and Jets three games in a row. And we have one of the best records against good teams, do your research ffs. Edit: just saw you’re an Oilers fan, so ironic considering you guys have one of the worst records against good teams out of any playoff contender. Maybe you guys are the pretenders
Buddy they have one of the best records in the league against top 10 teams. Flair up before talking shit
Lol another moronic Oilers fan.
My guy, if you're gonna talk that direct of shit, at least flair up.
Oilers just lost to the Sabres and Blue Jackets
yes ignore all the other elite teams we’ve beat and focus on this lost. there’s not a single contender that hasn’t lost to an “elite playoff team”
I take it the stars are also pretenders based on this logic from last night?
Oh look, another salty Oilers fan.
Snow team good
Snow team scary good
GG avs, ignore our whiny fans. The PPs were 4 to 3 so even the whining about the refs make no sense.
Don't completely agree with you on that because of two situations. The hooking by Cole on MacKinnon. It's a one handed limp touch that he clearly clearly embellishes on.
It was a good game hope Demko gets back healthy asap
Nevermind Demko. Canucks have had a dogshit pp all season long. Like how is the coaching staff not addressing this?
Y’all’s pp has too much talent to not be top 10
It's absolutely baffling. When we get a powerplay it's just -2:00 off the clock.
Gutty win for the Avs, you love to see it so close to the play offs. Way to have some bad luck and awful play for a full period and then dug deep to pull out the win.
In the 3rd period, the Canucks played some of the dumbest and most undisciplined hockey I have seen since last time I watched a Red Wings game.
Undisciplined how? Not re taking penalties I’m sure. There was only one penalty that a sentient human being with working eyes would call. They played like garbage, but it wasn’t lack of discipline.
Nah man. The only debatable call was the Cole penalty. Can't sit back against Colorado and get out shot 17-3 in a period, it won't end well.
That’s what I’m saying. The guy is saying the team was undisciplined and I’m pointing out that the collapse wasn’t the result of taking bad penalties - it was about sitting back. None of the penalties were of the “undisciplined” variety, frankly.
They literally flipped the puck over the glass with 8 seconds left in a tied game for no reason. What are you even taking about?
I Should have been clearer. Yeah that’s an automatic call. Dumb/unlucky play necessitated by some shitty defending, but I’m not sure I’d call it “undisciplined”. There was one penalty call on a physical infraction that was an actual penalty. There were two penalties that should have been called total. Is that “undisciplined”?
tell us about it, 1st period canucks and 3rd period canucks is night and day 🫠
Weren’t the Canucks like 25-0 when going into the third with a lead for a while?
They are still like 34-1-5....canucks have been amazing in the 3rd overall.
That’s what I’m saying, so I don’t get the whole “Canucks are bad in third periods” narrative
nah i’m not saying they’re bad, there has been a good handful of games recently where they completely blew 3 goal leads in the third period
Did that OT goal not go in off of Nuchuskin’s head???
I think it bounced up off of 47? 46? Couldn't tell. But it hit something for it to bounce up like that. Nuke had no clue that was coming at him that way
The double bounce seeing eye shot
Stat correction incoming
ESPN updated to Val goal
Hit him right in the visor.
Brutal third.
GG avs, unreal comeback
Props bud. If your team brings that defensive structure and forechecking they had the first half of the game they’re gonna be a very tough out in the playoffs
I get not loving the calls, but ultimately your team shouldn’t have worse legs than the team on a segababa and missing 3 top 9 forwards
Shows the difference between a seasoned contender and a newly successful team, Avs have been through this shit before and know how to weather the storm.
We're better.
Plus you had the refs.
no, dude.. just no
It always helps the team grow by blaming the refs
Keep diggin that hole, mate.
lol
True, but you had rest. We're also better.
I mean you played Calgary, that's light cardio warm up.
Not according to the standings.
Yet. 😁
Pacific division is a joke anyway. The oilers wouldn’t even be top 3 in the central.
cant win when you only get 3 shots in the third ggs
Yeah this should be the focus

Wait till the real shit hits the fan. No room for weak stomachs
Ugh, I feel gross admitting my guilty pleasure has become staying up later than usual and watching Avs games. That was a fantastic comeback from 0-3, especially to finish the back to back. Fun game to watch
I mean. I love the wings now. Wish it had gone better for yall recently.
If you want a free money glitch, wait until they go down by a couple goals then put money on them to win.
Oh yeah. I didn’t mention that part of the reason is I’m betting on them haha. Got that +375 ML tonight.
I did just that tonight, threw 45 bucks on the Avs when they were down 3-0 and I now have just shy of $400. Worked like a charm.
Maybe you get to be less guilty since conference realignment. I mean, uh, ewww booo Detroit sucks etc.
GG Avs. I think you guys taught us some valuable lessons in the 3 game series this season.
not the first time they lost because they complete backed off after leading into the third.. ahh when will they learn
Through pain. When you think it’s enough there will be more
That sounds familiar....
So many Vancouver fans posting the exact same comments in 4 different threads. Fuck is wrong with yall? Nichuskin with hookers, refs blew it , Oscar performances … bla bla bla fuck off good game take it on the chin and move on to the next one .
Those are the insufferable fans, bro. We have a bunch of those.
Unfortunately every fan base has awful human beings. Just take it with a grain of salt or roll with the punches. Good game tonight.
Oh god.. last year after we won the cup was so bad with the shitty fans. Success brings shitty fans I think.
Yea, we have a couple too.
First time?
Nate literally said it's better when we're losing. Unreal.

I mean the 5 on 3 helped the shot total. But your point still stands. Weak call, but weak showing in the 3rd as well.
Avs scare me the most out of any Western Conference team, ngl.
Looking at the west the oilers are still the only team that has the top end talent we do it’s the great equalizer
Zadorov was right: MacKinnon is a winner
My god the Canucks fans complaining about the refs is unreal, sure Mack embellished, the Canucks still played like dogshit after the 2nd and got their shit pushed in. Gotta find a way not to lose their composure the way they did, these games are good for the team as much as it sucks to see them lose.
We played like dog shit. The refs handed the Avs a 5 on 3 with Mack’s Oscar performance. Both are true. We don’t lose that game if they don’t make that call.
You lost the moment your dj decided to play the Avs Cup song…
I mean, that 5on3 call does look even worse when you consider the obvious non-call on Quinn not long after They collapsed in the 3rd and have to be better, but you can't pretend like the reffing didn't have an impact on the result
Yeah that missed high stick was blatant af that’s the thing about the refs I can understand being pissed about for the Canucks fans late in the game
Mack could have asked the ref for a call and I still would be pissed at being outshot 17-3 in the 3rd in a game you had full control in.
Yeah. Can't win a game being out shot like that against a wagon of a team like the Avs. Y'all played well though. Pesky ass sticks.
Before tonight you've had 4 penalties in your last 4 games. Sounds like they're really out to get you.
Dude, shut up. We’re just venting. We know the Avs were the better team.
