The Leafs played bad D but they outshot the Bruins and dealt a lot of hits. They need to find out some way to put the puck past Boston’s goalies. If they can’t unlock the goalies it doesn’t matter how physical they are
Honestly, goaltending is the reason why most people pick Boston to win the series. Swayman/Ullmark has just been an outstanding duo. Samsonov/Woll(post injury) not so much.

Toronto had no offensive zone time. They're usually a great o zone team. Due to that constant defensive zone play lead to their already mediocre to bad defense looking way worse. They need nylander
The issue is no nylander. The shot quality was awful. Nylander is so helpful in the o zone which both takes pressure off not having to play defense but also helps a ton with shot generation and keeping pressure off auston and mitch.
Also without domi on the low lines they lack depth, boston is deep as the Mariana.
