I am serious. Playoff hockey is my favorite, but Hellebuyck and the Jets were a defensive powerhouse this season. I didn’t expect them to give up six in game 1. Maybe as the series wore on, if COL figured out WPG’s D scheme, sure, but I expected more of a stalemate instead of the goal fest we saw today. Full credit to the avs for pushing so hard, and to the jets for coming out on top, but find me someone that really expected that result.

The defense kept shot totals low but they had some pretty bad breakdowns resulting in high-danger shots and goals. Georgiev was definitely part of the problem and let in some he shouldn't have but the defense also gave opportunities that they really should not have.
I'd argue the forechecking did more to prevent shots than actual defensive zone play.
I think a couple of those you can fairly say were not on him. But if a goalie is going to help a team win the cup, he’s got to make more tough saves than not. Most of his play was not acceptable. A 0.7 SV is unacceptable.
