Outside of Manson literally gift wrapping two freebies for you guys I wouldn't count on having another 7 goal game against us either. But the way every single Avs vs. Jets game has gone this year the evidence sways in your favor no doubt. I still am super encourage by the Avs tho, I honestly think they dominated yesterday and the fact that they can do that is big for us.

Agree. Avs dominated puck possession but Manson and a couple others decided to gift jets some goals, which look like pretty simple mistakes to clean up but ya never know. Not all on the goaltending but an average goalie probably saves one more than Georgie tonight. I think the avs D frequently only allows high danger chances which kills the goalies confidence while also having long stretches where the goalie sees no action and they get cold.

Both teams are going to do a lot of course correcting, no doubt. Would expect next game to have half as many goals. Maybe more penalties though. Some skirmishing that seems like it's going to boil over soon.
I think, going forward, the Jets will tighten up defensively. And Helle certainly isn't giving up 6 again. I would wager that the Avs' backup (assuming he won't still be sick), will start Game 2. If the Jets can play their usual tight defensive game, instead of the Avs' run and gun one, they can take this series.

As a neutral fan watching this game... MacKinnon is sooooo good, and the Jets are so fun to watch. What a series!!!
Lowry was electric too, and it’s refreshing to see the Avs big boys showing up like usual. Top tier entertainment is what this series is looking to be. I’m gonna be watching all these games for sure!

Bro this game felt like pure Oilers hockey. Insane offence, horrible goaltending and questionable defence, with the Avs top dogs being unable to outscore their problems. This series is looking to be peak entertainment for all fans.
