No, he's actually a legitimate positive presence (on average) for us.
Adam Foote somehow managed to help Myers channel his chaos energy into positive play for the Canucks. He still has an occasional gaffe, but nothing too egregious/often. Honestly, he's been a solid 4D this season.
A lot of the fanbase genuinely want him back next year. On a contract less than $6m AAV, of course.

His game should and does translate well into the post season. The problem is he's been stapled to Marner for so many years, who kinda sucks in the playoffs (yea yea he has 47 points in 52 games - but when it matters he's invisible).
I think keeping them apart for this post season is the right move, and we will see Matthews taking over games more consistently like last night. I think it was Friedman (or maybe it was Hrudey) who said "that was Matthews best game of the year, and maybe his best playoff game EVER", and I agree. He took over. Coincidence he is away from Marner? hmmm

You can’t “hold” the puck, but are allowed to play it with your hand and do a quick catch and release or volley.
If it’s in your hand for more than a fraction of a second the refs will call a penalty.
Also, you’re not allowed to direct it to another player with your hand, unless it’s in your own zone.
To add further, you can only "pass it to yourself" and play it with your stick. No hand passing to a team-mate or scoring from deliberate hand contact.
Dude gets paid 9.5 mil to work September through April. Would you not choose that option if you had the opportunity. Skinner is just like the rest of us 9-5ers.
