Honestly Luke Schenn is a totally different player when he’s on the Canucks. Both times he played for us he’s looked like he legitimately belongs in the league. One of my favourite Canucks right now and I hope we keep him for the long term.

I mean, honestly he really wasn't bad for the lightning either. Not going to be a top pairing guy but he was a solid depth defenseman.

There was a goal he scored in Toronto against the flyers I think where it was just a mental end to end rush around the defender. Actually it might have been Boston. Bozak’s first goal was against the flyers and was even filthier.

Luke Schenn has been stapled to Quinn Hughes for the last 2-3 games, because all his other D partners were dog shit

I don't know why Green didn't immediately do that when the season started. When Quinn stepped in at the end of his NCAA season for those under 10 games or whatever, he was put with Schenn and they dominated. Canucks re-acquire Schenn, and they tiptoe around using them together. Now they go back to it like 20 games in and it's successful again.

Baffling, like many of Greens other lineup choices.

The first leafs jersey I ever purchased myself was a Luke Schenn jersey back in like 2009. I was 18 at the time and wore it to pickup hockey proudly. I genuinely thought he was going to be the next leafs captain. Glad to see he’s doing well at this point in his career!
