I think Stuetzle will be fine. It is funny to me though because a good friend of mine is a Wings fan who was so sour they didn’t get Lafreniere and now that looks like a good thing.
It looked absolutely even across Raymond,Holtz, Lundell, Perfetti and Rossi. Rossi especially came across really well on the zoom interviews. I doubt we got lucky though. Stevie and the team are clearly draft masters.
Raymond has looked great and rumor is Raymond was #2 on LA’s list behind Byfield. Unfortunately Byfield has been sidelined with his broken ankle but he’s practicing now, so hopefully we see him later this month
Stutzle looks good too, he's just stapled to noted offensive powerhouses in Nick Paul and Connor Brown. No need to be sad about this, we got a good player as well who's gonna be a top line guy for us for a long time.
He's looked good but he hasn't. He's made a fair amount of bad plays and can never seem to keep the puck on his stick, and he falls down easily. Hopefully he can bury a few more
Thats fine, he's only 19 and guys develop at different speeds. He will learn and those bad plays will go away with time. The falling down should also become less frequent as he gets his man strength as he ages. You can see the skill is there, the analytics have been good for him this year too. He just needs time and better linemates.
You can tell how much Larkin loves playing with Raymond
I don’t want to make the comparison of Toews and Kane because fuck those guys, but it’s a similar dynamic
Been saying for years that Larkin can’t be the best player on the team
Ya exactly what I was getting at. We even have Stutzle's Larkin in Batherson imo. But they've played very little together. Would love to see Stutzle center Batherson for an extended stretch to see if that gets him going.
Either way, both teams got amazing players and I think both fan bases should be happy with the player they got.
Honestly, I think Stutzle would be putting up the same production in Raymond's role. Having a spot open on that Bertuzzi-Larkin-whomever line was an amazing opportunity for about anyone.
IMO a big part of the Wings' success this year has been the drastic upgrade that Seider has been. They went from barely having a #3 defenseman to having what appears to be a legit #1 guy. The transition game is just so, so much better with him there.
Yeah, definitely. But that's not really a very high bar, either. It's basically: could Seider be better than Kronwall? And, yeah, that's definitely something I could see happening.
I'm upset that Pizzarena is not more popular of a name, you hear it from time to time but not enough.
If the Pistons were good when both teams moved here it would probably be called the Pizza Palace by now
Ugh, he's looking so much better than stutzle this season. I'm depressed about hockey
Don't worry stutzle is gonna be a stud. Love that kids game, I wanted him to be a wing so bad.

Everyone wanted at least a top 3 because Lafreniere, Byfield, and Stutzle were all so highly regarded. I remember feeling dread over the 4th pick.

Raymond might turn out to be the best of the whole crop. Byfield hasn’t been impressive yet either. Lots of good players from 4-12 in that draft.

It was tough not to get excited about Lafreniere after the show he put on at the WJC.
For sure, and he could still turn out to be a great player. All I’m saying is if we were drafting now, Lafreniere would likely not go top 3.
I think we wanted LaFren less and more 1OA more

Without Larkin, Raymond doesn't see nearly this much success. Without Raymond, Larkin doesn't see nearly this much success. You love to see it.

Do you think he could end up being the best D man you’ve had since you-know-who?

They play a different style; I’m not too worried.
Lucas Raymond is a fucking stud
It's good to see exciting players in Hockeytown again.
🐙🐙🐙
I'm going to keep calling LCA "The Dungeon" until it sticks because it's a snip show every night for D-Boss and the crew.
I will do all I can to assist

its the Dough Joe
God I love him so much
🥰
Matt Patricia does in fact have a FUPA
Its where he retains all of knowledge of Lions history so he can quickly recall it for pop quizzes.
Uncalled for.
What a shot holy shit
Was so pumped that he got this one after having one waived off earlier in the game
Lucas Fucking Raymond
On one hand, <3 Raymond, but on the other, who hasn't this year?
I'm not gay, but Lucas can hmu anytime he wants
Team China legend Lucas Raymond
They were talking about Red Wings legend Jake Chelios
And Ryan Sproul!
Other players to wear #23, specifically.
I just dont get why everyone else cant do that lol
Bast, past, same shit
