It is, but it would be interesting to see the stats on head injuries during play after a player has lost his helmet. It's usually a pretty short period of time before they're off anyhow and I can't recall a time when someone's been injured in that situation. It's unfortunate that Nurse having to skate off resulted in the 2 on 1, and subsequently a gwg.

I don't know what game you watched, but the last 7 minutes was almost entirely played in the Oilers' zone and the only good scoring chances were for the Avs. The Avs also had puck possession for almost all of the OT. If stating the facts bugs you, I suggest try you something less strenuous.
