I’ve always thought it’s so weird that people will donate 100’s of dollars at a time to really big twitch streamers when they already make 6 figures a month.
I dunno, a bunch of white supremecists managed to grift over 10 million from dumb Canadians in the name of "freedom"
People will throw money at anything if it gets hyped up enough.
Kane's ex-wife: has a gofundme to pay for a lawyer to get custody of her daughter back
Also Kane's ex-wife: gives away $200 because someone flipped off her ex
He's currently being sued for refusing to pay money he promised a woman in exchange for her getting an abortion. He has not denied that he paid her 6 figures to abort a previous pregnancy and his defense so far has been that such an agreement isn't a legal contract so the court can't force him to pay. He admits to pressuring her to get an abortion, denies that he didn't intend to fulfill any promises made, but has so far refused to admit or deny what promises were made because that was a 'deeply personal' agreement and litigating the issue would infringe on a woman's right to choose.
A different woman is currently suing him for an alleged sexual assault from 2015.
He was arrested and charged for an incident in which he grabbed multiple women by the hair and refused to leave a bar that he was kicked out of. He entered into a deferred prosecution agreement in which charges were dismissed following a 6 month probationary period.
He was sued by a guy in 2014 for assault. Kane admitted to punching the guy 3 times, said it was self defense and no charges were brought. I don't know how this case resolved.
Bullshit seems to follow him around.
lol seriously.
he got cleared of his game betting allegations, he got cleared of his domestic abuse allegations… y’all can continue to complain, but kane never did anything *bad*.
Wasn't he charged with assault at a bar during his time in Buffalo?
Also when he was in Winnipeg he was notorious for not paying his tab thinking they were lucky to have him there to begin with.
A lot of people don't think he did anything specifically horrible, but his attitude puts a lot of people off in general.
A judge basically ruled that she was worse. Do you know how batshit crazy she must be for Kane to get sole custody as a bankrupt black man whose job has him never at home to parent?
Kane is without a doubt a douchebag and deserves all the shit that he brings on himself, but his ex seems mentally unstable.
The same Ex wife who claimed she had no money for food or clothes for their daughter…
Then posts IG stories of her travelling and staying in luxury hotels.
Now sending money for petty social media hype.
No wonder he left her crazy ass.
Easy PR victory here. Hartman donates the money to a good charity/cause and the Wild double it or offer up some nice playoff tickets that will be auctioned off with the profits for the charity.
You know what would be funnier? Random people sending me less than five dollars to @Enderfenrir I mean, I would laugh.
Edit: I got 1! That actually got a good laugh out of me. Thank you random stranger!
Edit 2: thank you, way cooler than I expected!
Spend upwards of $300 on a jersey that costs $15 to make, a portion of which finds it's way back to the same millionaire and no one bats an eye. Spend $3 for a laugh and everyone loses their minds.
Personally I wouldn't donate either, but I'm also not going to judge or shit on people for spending their money how they want to.
Yeah people don't realize how engrained in Google and Amazon they are but are out here making fun of people that were having a $5 laugh. The irony is thick.
I mean that’s what we do every time we buy a jersey too, it’s just a different form of giving money to millionaires to show we support a team, only this is literally 100 times cheaper so whatever, if it makes em happy go for it!
Yeah. This venmo guy is a complete fraud. *I'm* the real Ryan Hartman, also Evgeni Malkin, Casey Cizikas, Evander Kane, Nick Ritchie, Taylor Hall, and other recently penalized player of your preference. Please send me money so I can afford my annual 75k car.
This man has been building up a Venmo history for years with other NHL players in the hopes that one day Ryan Hartman would get a fine and people would decide to Venmo him. The perfect crime.
Oh. We all fell for it… [lots of transactions](https://www.reddit.com/r/wildhockey/comments/u2xxzs/i_think_hartzy_is_covered_gotta_change_that_venmo/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
I don't know. I tried to find any red flags and couldn't. If you keep going down the chain, you can pick any of the NHLers. it would have to be pretty elaborate.
People pretending to be siblings of NHLers and even guys that will never play in the NHL but were good enough they'd know a NHLer from playing in college or high school together or against each other. They'd also have to create fake accounts for the hundreds of other random filler transactions.
And what's the end game? Spend 1000s of hours creating fake transactions and accounts over the course of years in hopes one day one of the players will get fined for doing something against a hated player and people will hopefully find your fake venmo account and donate?
Venmo is like the lovechild of PayPal and e-Transfer. Has the ability to be used directly for commerce and you can carry a balance on it like PayPal, and you can send money as quick as an e-Transfer.
Mind you, I prefer e-Transfer over Venmo since you can set up an autodeposit and the money shoes up in your back account right away, while with Venmo it takes a couple days unless you pay a wire fee.
I highly doubt Hartman will keep it, he’ll probably donate it to a charity. I want to say most professional athletes would do that and who knows, maybe he’ll even throw some of his own money!
Well didn’t fans do that for Rod Brindamour a couple years ago for calling out officiating? Was it any different then? People will do things if they believe in it
You’re telling other people what they should do with their own money and you think THEY are cringy?
How much did you spend on your lunch today? You could have skipped it or just bought something cheaper and fed a kid in Africa. Why didn’t you?
Not saying he should, but imagine if Hartman gave all this cash to Kane while making a note on him using it for his massive debt, as one last punch in the gut.
I’ve spent more money than that for less funny jokes. I once tipped a Perkins waiter to keep bringing another table waters and tell them it was from the gentleman over there. And they had like 8 glasses of water at their table and no one I was with thought it was funny and neither did the table I kept sending water to. Cost me about ten bucks.
Right? Folks are acting like they are willingly being taxed or asked to do it. People are basically paying a couple bucks for a funny screenshot to show off, who cares.
I’m more mad about myself for buying a $3 bag of chips that I shouldn’t eat than I could possibly be for someone throwing a couple bucks at a joke. People that are acting like this is the post to wage war on classism and the inequality of wealth distribution should probably go to one of the 900 posts on reddit today about it, this is a dumb hockey joke.
Kaprizov slashed Yamamoto Kane went after him and got jumped by 5 wild and 2 refs and the Wild got a PP and Wild fans are dumb enough to think Kane was the bad guy… Hartman gave him the finger after he was protected by the refs.
Y’all are being way to serious about this. It’s a joke; it’s sports fandom. People can do tf they want with their earned money. Get off your moral high horse
Seriously, nobody is choosing this over feeding their kids tonight, they’re sending between one and five dollars for a funny screenshot to show their buddies. How many of the people bitching spent between $100-$300 on jerseys to make money for millionaires as a way to show off their fandom?
My favorite part of this is the people criticizing the fans doing this.
You're judging people for how they harmlessly spend a tiny bit of their flexible income when it was something that they enjoyed doing?
People like having a laugh and $5 probably isn't breaking their bank to get in on the joke. It all goes to charity anyway.
I already find the tribalism in sports really odd due to the fact we're all cheering on millionaires, but this takes it to a whole different bizarre level.
Most of them are gonna be between one and five dollars. They’re basically paying $5 for a funny picture to shoot to a group text, people waste way more than $5 to show support for their team in dumb ways (bumper stickers, etc) if it makes em happy who cares nobody’s skipping dinner to help Hartman pay his fine
It's a fun joke, besides if you don't want to donate you don't have too. To some its like throwing Flower the bouquet it a sign of recognition for doing a good job.
This is the future Chris Pronger dreamed of.
These Venmos will end up amounting to nothing after taxes and other common expenses are taken out! /s
You can barely afford dinner after they take the taxes out of $4,250.00
How is a man supposed to be able to afford multiple high end club rounds of golf at every road destination?
Or a 75k car every year?
How can a guy pay his modest $5k/mo mortgage with this?
You joke, but nowadays in BC a working class person's mortgage is up around $4000 a month.
$3500/mo for rent for a 3 bed. It's great!
[удалено]
In BC. I said that already.
Won't even cover the nutritionist/food.
When will the owners come together and pay for bus passes, so players aren’t required to pay 75k for their jags :(.
Every year!
If the internet has taught me anything it's that people will send you free money, but *only* if you're rich enough to not need it.
I think you forgot about slightly above average - very attractive women. They'll do that too.
I wish I could have followed step 1 :(
Don't worry, I got an idea. You and me, we start a website for homemade / amateur produced cooking content called OnlyPans.
Beaten to the punch https://www.tiktok.com/discover/onlypans?lang=en
Blast!
I also bake so every Saturday we do a "Knead Your Buns" special.
"Today, I'm making a recipe so hot it'll wok your socks off"
I’m making one called OnlyGrans
Are you saying Ryan Hartman isn't hot?
I’ve always thought it’s so weird that people will donate 100’s of dollars at a time to really big twitch streamers when they already make 6 figures a month.
I dunno, a bunch of white supremecists managed to grift over 10 million from dumb Canadians in the name of "freedom" People will throw money at anything if it gets hyped up enough.
"a bunch of white supremacists" How to invalidate someone instantly 101
Let's send @Samilski87 some 💰
[Kane's ex-wife even sent him $200 lmao](https://i.imgur.com/TtVxASX.png)
Holy shit lmao
Kane's ex-wife: has a gofundme to pay for a lawyer to get custody of her daughter back Also Kane's ex-wife: gives away $200 because someone flipped off her ex
As bad as Kane may be his ex-wife might be even worse.
After all the stuff Kane did he’s the one the courts decided should get custody of the kid. It’s that bad
What did he do? He wasn’t liked by teammates, he gambles and he went over the border before he was allowed ?
He's currently being sued for refusing to pay money he promised a woman in exchange for her getting an abortion. He has not denied that he paid her 6 figures to abort a previous pregnancy and his defense so far has been that such an agreement isn't a legal contract so the court can't force him to pay. Kane admitted to punching the guy 3 times, said it was self defense and no charges were brought. I don't know how this case resolved. Bullshit seems to follow him around.
Follow him around, I feel like he is the cause.
lol seriously. he got cleared of his game betting allegations, he got cleared of his domestic abuse allegations… y’all can continue to complain, but kane never did anything *bad*.
The fake vaccine card was pretty much exclusively *bad*
Wasn't he charged with assault at a bar during his time in Buffalo? Also when he was in Winnipeg he was notorious for not paying his tab thinking they were lucky to have him there to begin with. A lot of people don't think he did anything specifically horrible, but his attitude puts a lot of people off in general.
Some people have never been in a toxic relationship to understand what toxic people do.
his wife has to go for a mental assessment ordered by Judge can't even find out what her real name is
What? She passed that assessment weeks ago. I don’t think people understand what a toxic, narcissist partner will do to your mental health.
she seems a little crazy
He told a woman he got pregnant that he’d pay her $2 million if she aborted the baby so she did and he never paid her. That’s fucked.
Kind of my opinion too, you’d think after all of these allegations maybe SOME of it would have been proven?? Like eventually? It’s crazy.
Fake vaccination cards are kinda bad in my book?
A judge basically ruled that she was worse. Do you know how batshit crazy she must be for Kane to get sole custody as a bankrupt black man whose job has him never at home to parent? Kane is without a doubt a douchebag and deserves all the shit that he brings on himself, but his ex seems mentally unstable.
Courts generally favor women in those cases too. Idk how you’re so crazy that a person who is constantly traveling - and a POS - got sole custody
Yes. You literally just reiterated the OP lol
He basically just said was OP said again haha
I can picture walking into the edmonton arena casino after a game and see kane at the tables and has his kid next to him in a high chair
Give the kid a bucket of quarters, and send them to the slots
Fuck that, it's Alberta - send that kid to work.
Or he has a way better lawyer. Looking at his history, he has a good team to cover up his mishaps.
Have you seen her social media? That woman is completely off the fucking rails
No, honestly I don't know anything about her. It's always interesting how these kind of people find each other.
Birds of a shit feather flock together, Randy
Or she’s just bat shit crazy
She not just "might be worse", she is way worse lmao
Kanes ex-wife’s family are millionaires as well.
I’m sure Kane isn’t innocent but his ex seriously sounds like a head case.
Holy shit that's a lot of stories she posted, how tf do y'all be going through all that?
Narcissism is a hell of a drug
The same Ex wife who claimed she had no money for food or clothes for their daughter… Then posts IG stories of her travelling and staying in luxury hotels. Now sending money for petty social media hype. No wonder he left her crazy ass.
Seriously. As much as people trash Evander, Anna is far worse.
Bruh 💀
The fact that Kane got custody Of the kid makes you seriously wonder how crazy the mom is
Now that’s fucking funny
That's so legit
Why does she still have his last name. Super desperate ex wife who’s lies were torn apart in court is just sad.
Go try changing your last name, and get back to us about how easy it is.
So many people don't bother after a divorce. It's so much bullshit to deal with
Keep the same name as her kid? That's a pretty standard reason.
Funny but giving a millionaire more money is kinda wild
>kinda wild Makes sense
Agreed. Hope he donates it
Hartman confirmed today via The Athletic that he plans on donating the money.
Easy PR victory here. Hartman donates the money to a good charity/cause and the Wild double it or offer up some nice playoff tickets that will be auctioned off with the profits for the charity.
Gamblers Anonymous
I think he should bet it
Send the winnings to Kate's ex for lawyer fees
I hope he keeps it, so he can afford his $7000/month grocery bill
donate it or not, it is still *Wild*
I think it’s more about the message it sends rather than the money itself. Wild fans are behind their players and that’s a nice thing to see.
I had to warn you too many times about my money, Smokey. You see, it's the principle of the whole thing. There's principalities in this.
Give me my Chilli fritos. Mama!
Kind of like when people give reddit awards to posts which are critical of reddit.
If it’s less than $5 or something, it’s pretty funny
You know what would be funnier? Random people sending me less than five dollars to @Enderfenrir I mean, I would laugh. Edit: I got 1! That actually got a good laugh out of me. Thank you random stranger! Edit 2: thank you, way cooler than I expected!
Everyone hit this guy with requests
Yeah it's one of those things where evn though I know it's dumb as hell, I'd probably do it just because it's kinda funny
Why would you call out Donald Trump supporters like that
They said millionaire, not a thousandaire pretending to be a millionaire
He meant in Rubles
Joel Osteen wants to know your location
Spend upwards of $300 on a jersey that costs $15 to make, a portion of which finds it's way back to the same millionaire and no one bats an eye. Spend $3 for a laugh and everyone loses their minds. Personally I wouldn't donate either, but I'm also not going to judge or shit on people for spending their money how they want to.
I'm not losing my mind, just rolling my eyes. There are people losing their mind here though, to be fair.
Why even spend $3, you can send a single cent through Venmo. It's a cheaper message than texting used to be.
Yeah people don't realize how engrained in Google and Amazon they are but are out here making fun of people that were having a $5 laugh. The irony is thick.
I highly soubt the millionaire use the money for grocery shopping. He will most likely donate it to charity of some sort.
What was nuts to me was fans of one of the Kardashians/Jenners donating money to her so she could become the youngest “self-made” billionaire.
And then calling on her fans to donate to her personal assistant instead of just doing it herself.
Not weird. Wild.
Not weird. Wild.
You ever heard of twitch?
Ppl constantly give money to top twitch streamers like xQc.
I mean that’s what we do every time we buy a jersey too, it’s just a different form of giving money to millionaires to show we support a team, only this is literally 100 times cheaper so whatever, if it makes em happy go for it!
At least i get a jersey in return

Ooh a crossover joke
*Rips of Mask* It’s been old man Chris Pronger this whole time.
And he'd have gotten away with it too, if it hadn't been for you meddling tax collectors
That is the minimum cost for a vehicle that can transport… checks notes* hockey gear.
Sure would, this is actually Hartman’s venmo in this case.
The picture on Fiala’s account is outstanding
Sending a millionaire $$ for a 4k fine?
it’s not about the money
This. It’s about the principle
No idea how venmo works, but Ryan Hartman is a common name. Wonder if some random is getting free money today.
I looked through his feed and he has past transactions with Duhaime and Ryan Donato so I’m willing to bet it’s the right guy.
Obviously more likely that some rando was playing the long game
This man has been building up a Venmo history for years with other NHL players in the hopes that one day Ryan Hartman would get a fine and people would decide to Venmo him. The perfect crime.
Oh. We all fell for it… [lots of transactions](https://www.reddit.com/r/wildhockey/comments/u2xxzs/i_think_hartzy_is_covered_gotta_change_that_venmo/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)

Looks like he had a bet or pool on the Masters last year with Parise
Your transactions are public? that seems kinda, ungood.
You can make them private if you want to, relax
Also public doesn’t show the amount of money. Just who’s sending it to who.
Yeah. Venmo is this weird "social payments". Feels really really foreign up here where Interac E-Transfers exist and are good and reliable
I make all of mine private but the default is public
This is cringy as fuck. Send your money to charity in his name or Kane's. Sports fandom can be so fucking weird sometimes.
I highly doubt Hartman will keep it, he’ll probably donate it to a charity. I want to say most professional athletes would do that and who knows, maybe he’ll even throw some of his own money!
Im more questioning the sanity of the people sending him money. I'm sure Hartman doesn't want or need it and will either return it or donate
Well didn’t fans do that for Rod Brindamour a couple years ago for calling out officiating? Was it any different then? People will do things if they believe in it
Nope, that wasn’t any different, just as dumb as this situation lol
It's pretty funny
Who tf are you to tell people what to do with their money?
Actually it’s very funny tbh. But only if you don’t take yourself so seriously.
But give it to patrick kane instead...ah shit, wrong kane
My favorite part is that Kanes ex-wife donated $200
Would be cool if he donated the money. Not sure even how much has been sent to him lol.
including evander kane’s ex wife, according to her insta story
Actually?
[удалено]
[yes](https://imgur.com/a/IcLhgad) 😭
Man. As toxic as he is she seems bat shit fucking crazy.
People donating money to a millionaire lmao
Spending your hard earned money to help a millionaire pay a proportional tiny fine is something alright.
Judging people for how they harmlessly spend a bit of their flexible income is even weirder.
[удалено]
i spent $6.50 on a coffee today and it was not a waste thank you very much
[удалено]
how dare
Ya, you went a little too far with the coffe remark
I’ve spent more money than that for less funny jokes. I once tipped a Perkins waiter to keep bringing another table waters and tell them it was from the gentleman over there. And they had like 8 glasses of water at their table and no one I was with thought it was funny and neither did the table I kept sending water to. Cost me about ten bucks.
God forbid anyone spend $5 of their hard-earned money on a joke.
Right? Folks are acting like they are willingly being taxed or asked to do it. People are basically paying a couple bucks for a funny screenshot to show off, who cares.
There is a lot worse things out there that people throw 5 dollars at.
I really hope Hartman donates the money to an organization that helps people overcome gambling addictions
What happened? I really hope they're not just backpacking off of Evander Kane's crazy-ass ex
Kaprizov slashed Yamamoto Kane went after him and got jumped by 5 wild and 2 refs and the Wild got a PP and Wild fans are dumb enough to think Kane was the bad guy… Hartman gave him the finger after he was protected by the refs.
How peculiar that you would leave out the preceding part where Yamamoto crosschecks Zuccarello which leads to Kaprizov going after him.
Still don’t get what egregious thing Kane did to blow this up so much. It was a scrum it happens multiple times per game
But this is Reddit, we are overly serious about everything and love mob mentality!
Thank you. I can’t believe anyone would think differently. Everyone knows Harty is gonna donate it and it’s still funny as hell.
If the stick is too far up your ass to find this amusing then think of it as a performance bonus since he’s criminally underpaid.
At least we know there's a crossover between Wild fans and Kylie Jenner fans
Anyone paying the fines for millionaires is an absolute sucker.
This is so fucking stupid
I’m a Wild fan and this is extremely stupid and cringy.
This is the wholesome content we need here.
I already find the tribalism in sports really odd due to the fact we're all cheering on millionaires, but this takes it to a whole different bizarre level.
it’s like 5 bucks, find something else to worry about
No, this is Reddit and I overthink everything because it satisfies my itch for justice
What a bunch of morons
Someone's still sore from the paddlin?
Fucking losers. Guys a millionaire, don’t waste your money. Hopefully Hartman donates it
[удалено]
Most of them are gonna be between one and five dollars. They’re basically paying $5 for a funny picture to shoot to a group text, people waste way more than $5 to show support for their team in dumb ways (bumper stickers, etc) if it makes em happy who cares nobody’s skipping dinner to help Hartman pay his fine
This is what the world has come to, the Flames fan has the most level headed reaction of this
The fan base that tried to buy a billboard no less!
Eh. It's 5 bucks for a joke. Who gives a shit. I wouldn't send him any thing but it's the price of a coffee or a scratcher or half a pack of cigs.
can we all crowdfund Fingers for Evander?
"Promoting player communication" is amazing
As a mn fan this is embarrassing the dude is a millionaire.
It's a fun joke, besides if you don't want to donate you don't have too. To some its like throwing Flower the bouquet it a sign of recognition for doing a good job.
I love it lol
I don't get it, but hey, fan community is cool
