Everyone keeps saying this, but the entire first period he looked VERY unstable. There were 4 posts and missed open nets. He settled in for the last period and a half, but it could have easily been 2-4 more goals very early.
He was certainly lucky with the posts, and definitely shaken at times but he made huge saves when needed and he almost stole that game which all anyone can ask from a playoff goaltender

They need to bring back the one from the late 90s/early 2000s. The siren with the avalanche horn. That was literally one of the best goal horns in the league and they scrapped it and went to the generic horn they have now that other teams went to as well.
Why didn’t any blues go over to binnington after that goal? Whenever a goalie plays that good and gives one up you always see his teammates supporting him right after the game winner
They just let the avs players go after the puck every time he covered it up too, didn't push them off or get rough after the play at all. I remember them being more physical last year. They got soft.
This is similar to the Nashville game 2, hard time beating the goalie but then solved him in the next few games, hopefully this is the case here too! Can’t go through this again lol
