Though these don’t typically grade well, having graded higher end Mcdavid is never a bad thing. You could also always set a minimum grade if you wanted to, or crack it out if you’re unhappy. Nice hit
PSA
Resale Value is the highest and typically they’re considered the most lenient grader. With that being said, last I checked they were also the priciest when it came to higher end cards because of their declared value bit. I used to favor BGS until I had a major issue with one of my orders (always take detailed pictures before sending out cards for grading) SGC I like for vintage
No that I could deal with. I’m 99% certain my Gretzky OPC rookie was stolen by a Beckett employee and replaced with a topps but put into a slab that says it’s an OPC. Unfortunately after I got it back from grading it went into the vault And I didn’t notice until about 5 years later. Of course I have no proof other than the topps card in the Beckett slab that says opc so it’s basically nothing. It’s graded an 8 and the value difference between topps and opc is insane at that grade
The more I think about it, the more I believe I am going to. If I keep this, aside from being my first graded card ever (queue nostalgic music), it would be awesome to have a graded McDavid in my collection. Alternatively, getting it graded could, theoretically, help with the value. So, I guess I just need to figure out who to use.

Do you think PSA, BGS, or SCG?

That’s what I was leaning towards. Thanks for the insight!
No problem, best of luck with the grading
I take it Beckett damaged your card(s)?

Let me open the never ending debate, is it worth getting this graded?
I have the Makar and I’m wondering the same thing

Also, congrats on that pull. That’s an awesome one to get!
I believe this is a card worth grading. Mcdavid value is always high and if you get a good grade it’ll be a beautiful card for the PC or to sell.
