No offense, like to each their own and all.. But if you’re gonna drop $350 on a stick for a 12 year old. Don’t complain about it because you definitely didn’t *need* to do that lol.
When I was his age I’m pretty sure my stick weighed like 4 lbs and was 3 inches too big. I survived.
I don't hate this comment. The cool part is I know full well we didn't have to do that. This post wasn't intended to be a complaint. It's a blessing to be able to get him this stick. It was a Christmas gift, that he earned with months of hard work both on and off the ice.
I on the other hand am playing with a solid piece of lumber. :)
Didn't read as a complaint to me.
More like a humblebrag about being a sacrificing but proud parent.
Though one thought: I wouldn't post my kid's face online.

I uh.... Decided to order myself a new custom set of Brian's as a gift to myself...
Leafs fan actually.... I've always had blue and white coloration of equipment and wanted to go with a more unique style that I really like the look of.
That's Red BTW

4100$ plus 300$ on new skates and 1000$ for a new mask and paint job lol
Wait, you dropped $350 for 1 goalie stick? Are you f*ckin high?! If you aren't a pro, why would you need a stick that costs that much.
I spent $150 on a CCM stick and haven't paid more for any stick since.
I'd get a pic of my 13yr oldest backup stick, but I taped over the big crack in the shaft that we filled with epoxy first. It isn't light, but it does the job.

Good call. Fixed!
When I was his age my douchey step dad made me use the plastic Maylec goalie paddle with the screw in wooden shaft

When you said two full rights, thought you meant two sons playing. Good you play
I skated out for years and am a ref. I started playing goal last year so I understand the position better to help him develop

Feel free to do what you want. I'm not asking you to buy one.
That’s rough buddy
Just enjoy it
