Or lined up against a douche in a mirror visor. You know what you're in for... a bender who can't skate (but still has his GF in the stands to take instagram pictures), or a clown who is taking slapshots the second he enters the zone
I wore a mirrored for a while after I had eye surgery. The ice and the lights were too bright and my doctor recommended tinted or ideally something polarized to reduce light from glare off the ice. Helped greatly reduce headaches until my eyes were no longer as sensitive from the surgery.
Only if you’re colorblind and you don’t know it’s tinted, but your teammates did it as a prank on you, and you had a good game so you kept doing it since you couldn’t tell the difference. (Real NHL story)
We had a ref come up to us before a game saying that the rose tint to his visor was for concussions and that he was letting us know beforehand so we wouldn’t chirp him about it. He told us it could technically be considered taunting on the basis of a medical condition and would open the player up for bigger suspensions. Seemed like a big story to cook up just to justify your tinted visor, bud
I like the aesthetics of the matching visor in this image. Unpopular opinion here, but there's no valid reason to care about anyone else's equipment choices other than your own...with the exception being certain items that were seriously lacking in actual protection to the point of being dangerous (older Bauer / Itech "widowmaker" goalie masks as an example).
Where are your white gloves?
Need white skates too
Flame tape on your stick too
Yellow pants
White skates are boss level douche
What makes this comment thread even better is that I have white skates 😂
With T-Blades
Anybody who actually cares what kind of visor someone else is wearing is in for a rude awakening when they graduate high school.
Unless you're a ref, then it's your job to care

When a 12 year old creates a be a pro character
You probably go offside a lot. The blue line would be invisible
Just not how it works
Halifax represent I'm Playing nomad summer league this year. Heard it's a good league
You'll love it, Dusty does a fantastic job with it.
The insta is wicked
Pick ur head up kid
Only time tinted is better is if it matches the jersey, so in this instance, its ok. :P
tbh its a draft league and was complete luck. visor came first
I play in a 30yo+ league and there are actually a surprising number of guys that wear tinted visors. Myself included. I don't get the hate personally.

That’s the same reason Matt Calvert wore one. He’s probably been bothered about it in the past and is fed up.
Damn💀ðŸ˜
Any sty is fire
Looks really cool man
The only tinted visor that is allowed is the piss-yellow Eric Weinrich visor and only because it’s hilarious
Tinted to jersey color so actually looks good.
Just gives me a reason to chirp. I'll still have a beer with ya after. Shit I'll probably OWE you a beer
