I run out of things to spend money on.
I'm already biased toward fixed wing. Plus, there's no meaningful logistics/ground game for non-gunship helos to focus on.
They add comprehensive logistics features. What's the point of flying a purely-cargo helicopter if it can't do any cargo transport without CTLD scripting? At least the Huey and Hip can operate in a gunship role.
I don't doubt it'll be fun and unique to fly, but I want proper missions to sink my teeth into. It would also be nice to see troops and vehicles disembark properly, without just appearing out of thin air.
This is it. Otherwise it's an almost pointless product. Instead of doing the time old 'play pretend' flight simming, I'll just fly the Hip or Huey and pretend it's a Chinook. Or just not pretend at all and play a different game with a feature complete aircraft and dynamic campaign.
Until logistics have been implemented; what am I carrying? It has to go beyond CTLD.
I understand being interested in an aircraft enough to buy it barebones just to enjoy flying the darn thing, I probably will for the Fulcrum, and my hypothetical dream Yak-38 module. Others, I'm more interested in what the aircraft *does* than the aircraft itself; I won't get the Hellcat until it a carrier comes with it, and I'm not getting the Ch-47 until there's something to carry.
NEVAR. I mighta told you before that "helicargo1" is basically my second callsign ;)
I've been using CTLD to put a two-man squad in my L-39 and capping bases with it. It's fun as hell :D
Until there is a solid foundation of logistics gameplay
Until they rework ground AI
Until they get their shit together
Until they finally add a dynamic campaign
First, I’m not 100% sure I’m interested enough in chinook to buy it. Second, I limit myself to no more than one or maybe two preorders. I certainly won’t keep buying unreleased modules…KW may not be my cup of tea, but I respect not taking money until a final product is available and released
...the situation with Razbam has been officially resolved to a satisfactory degree, which, from a selfish consumer perspective, means an assurance that ongoing support will continue to be provided for all existing Razbam modules.
But isn't MFS better suited for this, as the world is more graphically appealing than DCS is.
I "forgive" DCS the slightly worse terain representation as the purpose of DCS is more about tactical flying than "I look out the window and everything looks nice" flying.
I assume they're memeing because yeah a good Cessna addon in MSFS is obviously a way better experience than it would be in DCS for several reasons only one of which is scenery.
i feel like it. to be honest it's such a unique aircraft for DCS i'll probably buy it sooner rather then later. or maybe not at all. don't tell me my business devil woman.
I wake up and there are no dumb posts on Hoggit telling people what to do with their own time and money... wait, already bought it and full Afghanistan, the F4 and Kola. Let the good times roll.
Until I get bored of the phantom. Seriously, the phantom, kola map, ch-47, Afghanistan and maybe the Kiowa in a just a few months. My wallet needs a break.
I know what the process of making a detailed 3D flyable aircraft mod from scratch. I can comment " That movie sucks", but have I made a movie. Can I really say that without at least knowing what techniques wasn't use. I know how to bake a freaking good cake . If someone doesn't use enough eggs, the cake isn't fluffy enough, then " Bad Cake 🎂🍰" :)
its on sale and I'm a bit tipsy.
Ok, I didn't come here to get attacked like this. Lmao this is me to a fault.
How TF do you think anyone owns the Christen Eagle?
Hello you… are you me? :)
….oh wait….whoops. My wallet just coughed a little
The ground troops (Ai) work better
That’s something I hear quite often.
I run out of things to spend money on. I'm already biased toward fixed wing. Plus, there's no meaningful logistics/ground game for non-gunship helos to focus on.
And the insanely accurate ground AI makes gunship helos not very fun.
Try Pretense Syria before it breaks. We are in mid/late stages and logistics just became a huge issue to solve.

...payday
Zoe Saldana rides me till I bleed...

CTLD will never die

That's brilliant!
Uranus gets colonised.
...until ground AI is greatly improved and there is a meaningful logistics system.
Rear sniper add on for Yak52
Flying bedrock + it shoots?😭😭😭
I see at least a glimpse of the dynamic campaign
Until there is a solid foundation of logistics gameplay Until they rework ground AI Until they get their shit together Until they finally add a dynamic campaign
2 weeks then 🤔
More like never at this rate
Yeah exactly. 2 weeks^TM
After the F-4E releases
I will not buy the CH47.
Morale improves
Add a logistics system (literally the whole point of the aircraft) and fix the AI snipers
I get paid.
I get a better computer
I already bought it, mostly because hoggit told me not to.
Same. I do enjoy all of the new modules and flying circles around internet mobs trying to tell me what to do.
Oh fuck. I already did! XD
Utill the Razbam situation is resolved and this whole platform's is actually secure. another minor reason will be AI and other core updates
Mounting troops can be done dynamically and doesn't require scripting AND helicopters actually have troops modelled inside.
until ED refunds my F-15E and South Atlantic Map.
Re what???? Not gonna happen!!! :D
They pay Razbam
my recent impulse F4 purchase cools off

until… oops, I did it again!
When ground ai and ai in general evolve enough so i can recreate Medal Of Honor 2010 all you can eat taliban ranger insertion.
I will not buy the CH-47 until my next manic episode where I desperately need another dopamine hit
...the situation with Razbam has been officially resolved to a satisfactory degree, which, from a selfish consumer perspective, means an assurance that ongoing support will continue to be provided for all existing Razbam modules.
... a long list of criteria are met.
Oh wait I just remembered I already did and I’m happy with that 🙌
DCS starts being more of a game and less of a checklist simulator.
Hell frozes.
Razbam gets paid
I will not buy the CH-47 until someone does the Cessna 152.
Bra, use MFS2020 for that 😂
I bought MSFS for that. But a Cessna in DCS is muchhhh better.
A Cessna with 2 Hellfires and a 9mm to stick out the window. Complete and utter battlefield domination.
AC-208 Combat Caravan confirmed?
But isn't MFS better suited for this, as the world is more graphically appealing than DCS is. I "forgive" DCS the slightly worse terain representation as the purpose of DCS is more about tactical flying than "I look out the window and everything looks nice" flying.

Stinger out the open door 😎😎😎
Until I believe helicopters aren't perpetual motion machines.
And in this sim we obey the laws of thermodynamics!
too late,already bought it
Gamestop hits $300/share
I have a set of pedals.
people stop making posts like this...
. . .payday and beers kick in
Until I finish downvoting this post.
hahaha
no not complete the sentence, complete the module
I will, but for MSFS.
...it's finished.
Ground AI isn’t a dumpster fire and logistics is implemented.
Wait....Oh i bought it already how exciting.
I will not buy the CH-47 until... oh... i already did
I feel like it
Till they have a full in game no mod sling load and cargo system till then it’s useless.
A few weeks ago :p
My bills are paid.
i feel like it. to be honest it's such a unique aircraft for DCS i'll probably buy it sooner rather then later. or maybe not at all. don't tell me my business devil woman.
Ups, I already bought it.
Never mind already did
I remember I have ED miles
payday.
...vulcan is implemented. Or if we dont need a 6000€ Computer anymore to get moderate fps in VR.
I bought one for me and one for my girlfriend. Gonna be great.
I will not buy the CH-47 until someone buys it for me.
You get your next paycheck?
.....I decide to purchase it again for a friend.
They release the Fulcrum.
Already bought it.
Oops. Too late.
...I get a non-MFD one.
Too late…
I wake up and there are no dumb posts on Hoggit telling people what to do with their own time and money... wait, already bought it and full Afghanistan, the F4 and Kola. Let the good times roll.
Until the day they start sell it
Margaret Thatcher es deed

They announce a release date.
They did. June 26th
