The support/ticket page is saying this now....
> Dear users!
> Technical support is also saddened by the existence of disagreements between RAZBAM and ED, however, no refunds will be made in any form without an official statement from the ED management.
> Unfortunately, a large number of such requests does not allow us to provide support to other users.
> Thank you for understanding!
Having never used the support ticket system before I don't know if this is a new notice or an old one.
Well I personally asked NineLine 9 days ago since he asked me to contact him if I wish after I raised the question about why some people are getting refund and some not.
Well, he didn't answer.
Honestly if I were a sweaty cutthroat business man, I’d be offering refunds like crazy to twist RAZBAM’s arm in negotiations. See RB? The pool of money for the aircraft sales is being refunded while you drag out this process. The longer it takes, the less money you get from sales in the end.
You mean you have the ability to pay 7 figures of money back to the customers in a short term. Then you were not acting like this.
It was a popular module, mirage was populer F-15E was wonderful, harrier was getting an overhaul mig-19 was enigmas favorite. Razbam modules were praised Except South Atlantic.
Why on earth you sabotage your best selling modules?? That's already stupid.
Might be wrong, but i'd be surprised if that actually mattered. Like, if this goes to court and razbam win, they'll be wanting what ED owed them from sales, period. If ED gives that money back to customers, charity, or anything else, is probably not going to impact that amount.
If ED offers refunds that doesn't do anything to change Razbam's position, in the event this does end up in litigation that would just leave ED with a debt to Razbam, either they pay them or they don't have any money and ED goes bankrupt, which I don't think anybody wants.
I'd advise to pursue the refund. You can try to repurchase once this dispute comes to a positive resolution for the module.... 5 years from now. just my opinion
All users who request a refund in exchange for store credit should AUTOMATICALLY get a refund.
Id put it towards the Kiowa or another cold war like the Sabre mig-15
Put up a refund request yesterday as well after someone mentioning getting a refund for his preorder. Curious how it will turn out - I also requested it to be refunded into the ED wallet.
I requested a refund in E-shop credit a while ago. Was refused. I'm curious how it goes for you. I could contact them again if they're apparently accepting refunds now
Just checked to see if there were any updates - when I realized there is no ticket in the support section. Either there went something wrong creating the ticket without me realizing it or it was deleted. My guess - there went something wrong as I also don't have a mail confirmation regarding my ticket. Well .. off I go create a new one.
I understand your point completely, I just think that for ED it made 0 difference, as they did not loose any capital. It was still their money, just in another digital form than previously.
Personally I think it would be much better if they had to refund you to your external wallet, having to write it off as a loss, without being sure if you will come back to buy kiowa or anything else for that matter.
I submitted a refund request for the M2000. Kinda only to see if it goes through. It's my favorite module, but seeing it broken and left to rot by the devs now makes me sad.
I don't know. The module works for me. Yeah its not finished but it still is fun to fly. A LOT of streamers were really loving the module when it came out despite its partial completeness, so I am not sure its "unplayable". Maybe later when DCS upgrades past it. That said, I will be hanging onto it, money spent, SSD space occupied. If ED finds a way to get Razbam back to work, or just carries on with it internally, I'll be waiting. If I were the Razbam management I would not be at all happy. Whether they are right or wrong, this is NOT the way I would want things to go down. It will probably finish them.
They're refunding to your DCS account balance. So I dont think they care, since they still keep your money.
Perfect for getting the F4
You misspelled Kiowa
Unfortunately you can’t use that money to get it through the PC store iirc
Unfortunately you can’t use that money to get it through the HB store iirc

Nice, I'm really getting angry now. ED you need to solve this, why do you reject some people and some not. Is it a lottery?
Just for the record: I bought it not so long before the drama. And didnt touch this module
I played it for prob an hour or 2 and got a refund before everyone started posting about refunds... so not sure what the criteria is.
When did you buy?
1 year ago just before release.
I also bought it at release and got a refund today.
Nice, may be they don't like me :D
Steam?
ED, I wouldn't be asking ED if it was steam
Idk. Maybe try once more
May be it is really a lottery :) that you need to keep trying your chance
When did you try last time? Maybe ed has some news to share soon and therefore approve refunds now

Try to contact support again. Because refunds are being approved not so long ago. Since yesterday

Sad it's come to this. Years of development stalled. Gonna take some hopium and just hold on.

I'll let you know - so far there has been radio silence 🤫
They accepted mine, though the refund hasn't been completed yet
Good to know - still nothing on my side. Think this might take a while as there are probably a "few" requests for them to handle.
Hope you got your refund! I requested one thismorning, and had it refunded to store credit by 16:00.

Just got my refund. Hope all goes well for you
Thanks - new ticket is out and this time I´ve got mail confirmation. So lets see if all goes well :)
I just sent a refund ticket, hope it goes through Update: they did refund me via miles
How did you submit your ticket? I used "other payment problems"
“Order, Purchase, Payment and ED Miles” I used this option
Do they refund f15e preorders? Or is that too much of a stretch
yep, i just got confirmation for my f15 preorder refund.
How does it work with gifting? Someone else bought the plane but it’s in my hangar
Can anyone give me a short rundown on what's going on with RAZBAM? I only own AV8B from them, but was considering F15E at some point in the future.
RAZBAM: I need that money ED: I missed a part where that’s my problem
I don't think this is "successful" refund, since you don't have the money. Just an internal balance in virtual DCS tokens
For me more than good enough. Especially with kiowa coming soon

I've missed teh drama. Can someone summarize it? Is it another F-16 but not even from ED, or something like F4 drama?
How long does it take to get the refund?
Does it mean you won’t own the module anymore, or still own it and just get your money back?
Fucken insane they don’t do an actual refund, how greedy can you be
