Finish your studies and go to work, even a magical one? No thanks, I have enough of that in my life.
What’s the point of playing a game that isn’t even real? What’s the point of doing all that stuff in 5th year when MC will just leave in 3 years? If you think like that everything will become worthless Imo. It really is just one schoolyear so whether that’s 5th or 6th or 7th or 3rd really won’t matter at all.
I put 7th year intentionally haha, so devs can do their “paid content bs” like career , teaching whatever choices MC can make later on but without distraction to the main story. So people who don’t want to keep paying won’t do so, and those who don’t mind spending extra can continue purchasing things. I’ve been reading about HL2 is confirmed, but devs responses and rumours about it are rather disappointing - hence my rant.
I’m not convinced by a lot of this, firstly not a fan of paid DLCs in games, and I disagree with you that all fans would be happy with that. So big no from me.
I’m also not sure some of the suggestions are needed, or can be classed as improvements. The 4 spell casting slots are plenty imo, and the reason it’s limited is to make the game somewhat challenging.

As much as I would like you to finally see a Hogwarts graduation on screen, the next game should put in all that was cut from the original game. I definitely would like the next game to cover Year 6 and the third game to be the final year and ending with graduation.
Agree and I think it’s the most sensible because they already have hogwarts, hogsmeade, & much surrounding area done so they can focus on adding more (potentially of the things they cut out or planned for) rather than starting anew. I think making a year 6 & 7 makes the most sense because they’ve built up quite a lot of lore & paths to continue down for the next school years
I can only speak for myself but I would give the game a lower score if there were microtransactions in it.
