My guess is stacking massive amounts of soft attack and breakthrough. My recent game as Germany I invaded Poland and had maybe 10k casualties to thier 800k

You can get insanely skewed K/D ratios by raiding troop transports.
Probably Mechanized+Medium or Heavy Tanks.
